Theo is such a down to earth guy. I absolutely adore him... and you, too, (OF COURSE) Michael.
I love the instant chemistry and positive energy that the two of you shared during this interview.
I'll never forget the day that Theo was visiting his old home in Staten Island, where my youngest sister lived at the time, and he so kindly stopped to take a picture with her. I retweeted the picture and thanked Theo for making my sister's day and he liked and replied to my tweet so quickly and unexpectedly.

This week’s episode is wonderful. Theo definitely opens up and he has so many great stories. I learned so much about him. His attitude about not giving a F is important.

I loved Theo on SOA!
I'm on 4 medication for anxiety and depression. They just keep wanting to up them. Now I have homework to do.
Start with looking at CBD oil. It should contain less than 2% THC. Micro dosing may be working for Theo, but these substances can actually increase anxiety and even induce paranoia or worse. The problem is you don't know how your body will react until you do it. Michael mentioned there being a science to it, but the reality is it's still an experiment.

Granted while I have only listened to roughly a dozen or so of your podcasts, I have never been let down nor disappointed by any of them. This is another that just knocked it out of the park. The guests may be "stars" but in this setting, there's a way to just humanize & HEAR them, and Theo comes off as a wise & eloquent & deeply feeling & thoughtful man. Thanks for this Michael.

I had never heard of Theo Rossi and up until now had only watched interviews when I "knew" the person being interviewed. However I thought I would give it a go and am glad I did. He was so zen, smiley, enthusiastic about life and open about his life that it was thoroughly uplifting and I reckon that a lot more people should give this episode of the podcast a listen or a watch! i should probably go back and at least give the episodes I haven't listened to yet a try. Thanks to MR for doing this podcast.

It was an AMAZING interview! I only knew him from Sons and had this whole notion of him from the show, but what an eye opener to have you interview him and find so many interesting qualities about him that make him so remarkable. Another amazing interview, wonderful insight into another personality I hadn't known before this. I love how Michael just gets to know the guest like a friend even if it is the first time they have talked.
Currently I have gone back to the beginning of the series on Spotify! I'm having so much fun listening to the podcast while at work. Especially to find out that some of the guests are so interesting even if it is something I wouldn't have thought would interest me.
And some of the best things are when Michael is always getting Rob's age wrong. I laugh every time.

When Theo talked about the experience with his father, I had to take a moment because it is so similar to my situation with my father. And Theo and I are the same age. I'm glad that Theo was able to reconcile it the way he has. It's been a journey for me. A lot of rejection...me never understanding why he doesn't want to be in my life, or my childrens' etc. Now I have a grandbaby and he still just doesn't care. It's so hard to fathom but Theo is right. Some men aren't meant to be fathers. And maybe it's better they haven't been, or aren't, in our lives because we are being protected from their ego....their narcissism, or whatever it is. It hurts like hell but it's the truth.

I was already a fan, but now I am even more over the top with respect for Mr. Rossi. I think, relate, and agree to every single thing he says here. I'm very surprised (or maybe not) to find that he's a fellow Texan, living right up the road from me here in San Antonio. But, when he mentioned that he lives in Austin, everything made sense. I just watched his movie with Aubrey on Netflix, which led me down an internet rabbit hole, which led me to discover this podcast....which I am now also a fan. Great show....watched, liked, and subscribed...

So, while not a direct recommendation... Theo mentioned the movie Black Bear more than once, so I had to look it up and I just finished watching it on Amazon Prime. It was a really great film and the first of the year to make me tear up... Audrey Plaza does an AMAZING job and I see exactly what he means when he says she is a good comedic & dramatic actor!
