Well, you talked me into it with your previous video, Barbara. I bought the plate mate and 2 sets of images. Today was my first try, and to let you understand, I have tried parchment crafting before and my results were pretty awful. Today has been marvelous. I can't believe how good the results are! Added to that, it was just lovely to do. It really takes you to a different place. They look great just as they are, but my next step is to learn how to use colour on my creations. Thank you for bringing this to us, and more videos please!

I've never thought of trying parchment before as it looked too difficult, and due to medications I take I knew my brain wouldn't cope..this is just so fab, looks so relaxing... Brilliant as usual. X

I used to make Pergamano but my hands are no longer steady to trace with ink. This is perfect, such a nice concept. You are one Groovi lady, LOL. Thank you so much for reminding me about Mindfulness also.

Just bought a groovie plate ,,have tryed parchment before ,years ago ,Can u tell me ,to get started,to get the best image .What is the best parchment GSM to use for a good image x

140 GSM is a good thickness for parchment. Our parchment is 140 and comes in both A5 and A4 plain. We also have some amazing coloured and designer parchment on our website too.

Hi Jeanne, There is a difference ..Velum does not show through white when you score it, where as parchment paper does. We have chosen a quality 140gsm parchment. I hope this helps. David. Claritystamp.co.uk

Hi Cheryl,
You would then mount the parchment onto some of our lovely Designer Papers as either artwork or you could make it into a card to give to someone... the possibilities are endless.
