- You ever wondered if Cuphead could use planes in normal boss fights? Well... we tried it out thanks to a pretty cool mod

For real though, the idea of a plane run&gun level is something I'd love to see in a future cuphead game

In the Devil fight, you could have just waited until you regained control again after dropping down, then turn into the plane again.
Yeah that’s what another TH-camr did
The reason you kill things so fast as a plane is that plane bullets do more damage than normal bullets. that's why plane bosses have so much HP. So, using a plane in normal fights make the bosses very fast and easy.

I don't understand why developers increased plane boss HP and cuphead plane damage just to be more "balanced".
They could use the same HP and damage just like in regular boss fights.

Using planes in regular bosses would either be really easy or really hard depends if the bosses/attacks moves into certain directions

Hey Bathaniel, the plane special you thought was broken was MEANT to do that, its supposed to arc down
Cuphead's bullet EX shot goes forward and the bomb EX shot is homing. Chalice's EX shots are vice-versa

When you said you can’t turn to the other side on the plane there’s a way to lock your aim somewhere else. I also love this video great content.

Bathanielall the special for the second plane attack is intentional the ex does work so does the regular shot for the planes it follows you and then shoots

its just that the darts/bombs do more damage than the average guns. to balance it out, a plane boss has 2x the average hp of a ground boss

For the second phase of the moonshine mob, when using miss chalice and becoming the small plane, you become invincible for a few frames as a way to compensate for the invincibility roll, so that might be helpfull with going through the laser blast things

and the aerial bosses have more hp to compensate

The only reason you couldn’t parry was because you shot as chalice on the ground and then changed into plane chalice which for some reason doesn’t let parrying on the plane work
The ex moves (not supers) are a bit different because you were using Mrs challece
When I first fought grim, (today actually) I thought, “this should have no clouds and be a plane boss”

The airplane bullets deals more damage than regular bullets so plane boss has double health so your doing 2x more damage
Using commercial planes would be impossible.

You can turn in the plane use the lock button because it doesn’t know if it’s a plane or walking level
Hey did you know if you press the tab button and the backspace button when your next to it you can replay the Secret boss,the Mosaliam,and go back to the basment of chef salt bakerbut if you’re on a controller and not on the keyboard just press the ZR and ZL button (like so he can see this)
