hello angels! we are in 2023, how exciting! this is going to be the best year of our lives, I can feel it. I wanted to sit down with you and have a chat about some reflection I've done after this last year about life, career, and keeping a positive mentality. I truly believe slowing down, journaling and taking a moment to take it all in is so important to begin dreaming about the future. Remember, all of your dreams are coming true! So here are some lessons I learned, hopes for 2023 and goals as well as plans for this next year. I hope this can motivate you and remember you are never alone. Thanks for watching, I love you !

One of my goals for 2023 is setting up a community connection afternoon. Providing an inexpensive lunch, space for board games, an occasional speaker,etc. After the pandemic, so many people are now home and missing human interaction. Just a space to be around people, make new friends, something to write on your calendar!

It certainly is our year!!! Today is my birthday and I'm having a train themed staycation... I got an Airbnb in my local Train station (the apartment is inside the train station!!!), right now i am on a day trip to a nearby small town i'd never been to (i came by train lol), tonight I'm having dinner with friends at a pasta place, and tomorrow im eating ALONE at an expensive steakhouse. Also last night i ordered myself a fancy pizza with tons of toppings and it cost 80$ lol. If you haven't had PEAR on a pizza, try it! It also had pesto, goat cheese, emmenthal, prosciutto, pineapple, spinach, olives and wild mushrooms. It was divine!!! ❤️
I love the concept of being the friend that you would like to hang out with. One of my goals is definitely to have more artistic / creative friendships, especially as an artist myself, I would love to have people in my life who draw or write or just create something in general, or just live a creative life in some way. I struggle with relational trauma regarding my childhood so that is something that I will need to overcome the limiting belief that I'm just a person that doesn't have friends.
i feel exactly the same way! I love to create and wish i had more people around me who are interested in creating. I used to have friends like that and it was the best time in my life, we listened to each other, created together and shared our art/ideas all the time. unfortunately many have moved away and i feel a bit like a lone wolf trying to find others like them to spend time with
I'm staying sober. Becoming a teacher brought me lots of growth, as a human and artist. Thank you for this video. Really needed to hear this. Have a wonderful 2023 lovely angel!

Watching this two days before I go on my first vacation as an independent adult after a long few years of disappointment being in and out of art school and finally settling into a job in the coffee industry in San Francisco that I love and by chance having saved enough money to do this now. The last time I watched you regularly I was reapplying to art schools after Covid shut down SFAI, and making the tough decision to not go to the school in Paris that accepted me, but to go to Maine where life took me in a different direction. Finally feeling like I'm healing from the heart break of losing my school (San Francisco Art Institute) and feeling like I lost San Francisco, and then feeling like I lost Paris, or lost art, or lost or lost or lost...
I'm not lost, I'm finding. I'm always finding. I'm ready to re-find San Francisco, and France, and friends, and art, and me.

I guess you somehow tell yourself that it's gonna be your year every year, but its the first time I really feel it! The teachings of 2022 were harsh, but I've grown so much and the energies are already so fast, I fell like I'm sitting in a cajak, going down a river very fast, and I'm enjoying the ride.
A few days into 2023 I woke up, and thought that it is the first time ever, that I am not afraid of life anymore. Thank you so much, internet angel! Sending love and high vibes to anyone who needs it! Thank you, love you xx
wow its been 4 months! I just achieved a goal of recording music, I treated myself to a local recording stu- and I feel so happy! So worthy of my time and dreams. I also feel like getting married was one of the biggest challenges for me in 2022. It checked my impostor syndrome after having fail to fail. I am learning to lean on my own angels and not the external ‘reality’. Thank you Shayna for all of your glorious magic! Love you!
One of my goals in 2023 is to be more mindful of the distractions in my daily life that aren't serving me and replace them with fun, joyful activities.

Hooray for the new year! One of my goals for 2023 is to see more sunrises and sunsets outside with my actual eyes. 😄 I feel like I’m better and more grounded when I make time to do that.

I always feel so blossoming when I watch your videos!! You surely inspire!! The sentence: "This is my year" makes me feel thrilled ... I am looking forward to it, but there is a mixture of feeligns in there ... Naturally! I need to get used to that thought form ... I need to continue to water these kinds of thoughts ... One of my favourite thoughts is: "I am always wonderful. I think thoughts that water the heartshaped seeds within."

2023 goal-better balance and more me time
my main goal for this year is to be more intentional
I don’t have new year’s resolutions, because that never works for me. But I like to introduce you to a new way of handling things; just do it. I’m a thinker and a feeler, and I spend a lot of time planning in my head. And what you made me realize is that a play day is exactly what I need. Where I can be impulsive and not regret it later, in which I often have done. If I play by myself, I tend to be more relaxed and not too overly focused on an end result. So, what I’m saying is that we art angels should be less focused on being perfect and accurate, but playing and enjoying the process! 😝 (that’s my favorite emoji btw).

Ahhh I adore uu 💓💓 I’m so excited to nurture myself and others this year! I’ve been meeting myself with a lot of much needed gentleness and patience these past 6 months or so and it’s really allowed my spirit to soar. One of my goals for 2023 is to say fuck it more. Lol. I don't know how else to phrase it. Just say fuck it and reach out to people (I moved to a new city a yr ago and am still trying to find my place!), create something, go to a new neighborhood and walk around, take a nap, make soup, watch a movie. I tend to force myself into rigid positions and be afraid to let myself just chill tf out/do what I really want, not what I should do.

I loved what you said about making process based goals instead of result based goals, I think that is SO important and I really want to get better at that. I think I really need it right now too. My word for the year is excitement because I want to follow what excites me and see where it takes me on the way. Currently struggling with where I want to be based come the fall and what my priorities are, but I hope that wherever I am I can channel some of this amazing energy you bring to life. I started the year strong taking care of myself, doing yoga, breathwork and cold showers everyday. I already feel better than before! My plan is to stay consistent and become an even stronger and daring version of myself 🥳❤

Love that you add in reminders of the law of attraction, learning to use affirmations more in my journaling. My goal this year is to get into the fiber arts, i.e visible mending, sewing and crocheting. I want to just keep creating ,to venture off into new territories , put myself out there, sale my art (more paintings ). Also want to give myself lots and lots of self-love, boosting my mood completely :) 2023 is going to be magical! I love keeping up with my routines and tapping into the spiritual . This is indeed our year, Shayna! I am becoming everything I wish to be this year, and I am so excited about creating myself the way I want to be, which includes cool fashion, more art, and more music and writing. I am also soon relocating to my dream location. I will be developing my You Tube channel far better, too. I am feeling so excited to know that I can be everything I want to be. There is so much joy ahead!
One of my 2023 goals is elevate my work conceptually. 2022 I got a lot of confidence in my work and learned so many new techniques and had a significant shift in the visual aspects of my work. Yes, I had to give up a dear friend as well. but the relationship was beginning to feel toxic and my intuition kicked in to assist me. thankfully, she terminated the friendship with the silent treatment. and I am well.
