If it fishes like/better/alternative to the mole its a beast. The mole is hard to beat on tailwater. Also in the shallows early morning on lakes I fish the mole is the go to dry while trout mill around in skinny water looking for an easy meal. The nice thing here is a tiny midge/ scud under the mole was a bit hard to keep the mole on top. This will float better with the polypropylene. Brilliant. Thanks Charlie.
Oh my. I am a huuuuge fan of the Film Critic and that fly killed it for me this year but this might take the pie for when I want some green drake patterns 👀
I've been experimenting with the poly macrame yarn since your video on it and it's uses (excellent video) in my own work. Your "Timmy" follows one of old rules; trout like a hot mess of a fly very much and if it survives several fish, they like it even better. This one shows great promise on my local waters. Thanks Charlie.
Wicked cool hairdo on this new creation CC. Can’t wait to tie some up and fish’em. At first glance this unruly mass of material reminded me of a fella back East. Best fished with a tight line I’m sure!
Fantastic looking fly! Thanks again, Charlie! Have you noticed recently how many other tiers are putting variations of the Mole Fly with different bodies on TH-cam? Why mess with perfection???
😮 Damn, this fly is SO buggy - love it. I’ll have to get some black macrame yarn next time I’m down your way. For the time being I’ll give the recently purchased Fulling Mill poly and some lighter Trigger Point and see how that looks/works. Thanks again for another 🔥 video!
Nothing to do with this pattern, but…thanks for the vid with the new stuff from Fulling Mill. One, because I like their stuff. Two, because I may be the only knucklehead who didn’t know you have a store with every cool material.
Great looking cripple. I'm gonna tie a bunch of these ! If it works half as well as the Mole fly, it's a winner. Just one question What is the dubbing brush you are using?
I already see the benefits of this fly…especially because raggedy ass flies are just a natural for me. Thanks again for a great fly tying lesson!

Thought it was a screaming banshee variation at first. I'll be whipping some up

Knowing you as I do, it is always impressive when you allow yourself to tie a "messy" one. LOL!
I had been trying to create something like this for a while with the spent wings and I finally found it!
One of the more interesting patterns I've seen in a long time - thanks for sharing this one!
Great bug, and I could listen all day😉 I get it👍
Great design - and I'm a big fan of few-ingredient flies. Thanks for sharing this one.

I approve of this. All of it. Every god loving pun-flipping part
"T...TA...TIMMAAH!!"
Awesome! Thanks Charlie!
I rarely comment on videos but this pattern sir is 🔥🔥🔥
That is a cool looking fly, Charlie
Thanks for the video, and I hope you get feeling better
Very nice concept, easy tie, I will definitely tie some up, thanks for sharing.
Another great looking fly thanks for sharing. Looks like im going to buy more material.
Finally a macrame yarn wing! I bet polypropylene post yarn would work good too
“Timmah!”
Timmy? Timmah...Timmy!!!

Another Banger 😎
Really cool pattern thanks for sharing
Awesome! Thank you.
Great pattern Charlie. You tie very unique flies.
For the lazy like me - Bonnie makes a color called 'Pottery' that is pretty close to the Custom Craven Blend shown here and in other famous videos.

BTW, the tip at 3:12… 💵!
Sgt. Murtagh "Timmy! Everyone say hi to Timmy! Hi Timmy! Timmy HI!!!"
Thanks a lot for the great tutorial! 👍👍👍 Could you do a tutorial on Bond’s Deep Cleaner?
Wow! That is sure to catch fish. Thanks for taking the time wile being sick to make your videos.
Now a fella ought to come up with a "Matt Stone Fly"
Timmy!
Charlie I have thought can you use the same tying technique for a caddies pattern?
Nothing to do with this pattern, but…thanks for the vid with the new stuff from Fulling Mill. One, because I like their stuff. Two, because I may be the only knucklehead who didn’t know you have a store with every cool material.
Will there be a Man Bear Pig pattern?
Timmy!!!
will trigger point fiber work as a wing for this? still new too tying dont have a full supply of materials yet.
Thanks for sharing this, CC. I will most definitely tie some of these !!! Did you tie the Green Drake variation on a size 12 or ?
Yes I did
Well when is the Eric Cartman fly coming out?
Is Timmy related to Drunken Suzy by chance?
Great looking cripple. I'm gonna tie a bunch of these ! If it works half as well as the Mole fly, it's a winner. Just one question What is the dubbing brush you are using?
That’s a Tiemco Retractable Dubbing Brush.
@@CharliesFlyBox ordering one right away! Thank you
😮🔥🔥🔥🤩👍👍👍👏🙏
if you know, you know LOL
more proof that a good 4 feet of drag free float ......
Looks like we've run out of patterns
What’s that supposed to mean?!
@@CharliesFlyBoxhahahaha!
I'm disappointed Charlie.
Im waiting for a Jimmy next.
