Do you know of any fish clubs in KS? Not having any luck, around the Wichita area.
We have one here but haven't been meeting because of covid. Aquarium Co-Op has a map listing them on their web page.
Why is there such a lack of info on Apistogramma and kribensis even though when you do find videos about them they say they are easy to breed.
I really appreciate how the editors of all these videos put up the time marks, i wish more did this

I've never kept any cichlid, they are so beautiful.
Love watching videos with dean, something about the way the two of you bounce energy off each other. Then the every so often diy videos of your collaborations.
As a teacher, I enjoy watching others who teach well. Dean is knowledgeable, engaging, passionate, and does an amazing job of explaining things in simple understandable terms. Love hearing his take on about anything.

Who wants another fish tank but can’t get one
Meeee
Build one at home, collect sand & rocks outdoor, use some nice soil from your garden in those mesh bags they use for potatoes etc. Then cap it off nicely with sand
Collect some wild plants from the nearest pond or lake …
Put it all together and you have an awesome ecosystem aquarium! Search the Walstad Method & follow that.
If you want you can add medicine to the tank to remove any parasites or harmful fungi/bacteria/ viruses & add one or two fis
I was looking at a 125 today and realized that I have nowhere to put it lol
Me I have a 55 gallon but have no space to set it up currently. 😢

I was curious about this as well... I have duckweed floating around... I'd hate to have it if it's going to harm the fish or fry! Does anyone know?

Haha ya. Those pencils were just placed into that tank and I took Broll about an hour later. They were still getting used to the tank.

Thankyou for all the great videos, just got home with a trio 2 female/ 1 male apistogramma cacatuoides and settling them into their new tank with all the bits they need, will be lovely to see how they work things out
OMG! This video inspired me to setup a 29g community tank with apistos. I purchased a pair of apistogramma cacatuoides from my LFS. They just had their first brood! Thank you so much @deansfishroom for all the knowledge!!

We got into the fish keeping hobby again about 6 months ago. Thanks to your videos (and others on TH-cam), we have successfully bred corys, blue dream shrimp, red wagtails, and a small clutch of CPDs. Apistos may be our next project. Love your videos!

It's was a joy I ran across this youtube channel,lost way to many hours watching video after video. Between Cory's and Dean's knowledge you have made my fish room and breeding set-up a joy to go into. Hey Cory has a fairly large order( brine shrimp hatchers and eggs,dried food plus other's stuff) from the co-op but guess not set up to ship to Canada hope you get that running soon. Keep up the good work my young friend
