  • *Trigger warning: death of a parent and a mention of sexual violence (unrelated to the parent)
This video took a lot to make. I didn't realize the impact it would have or the roller coaster it put me on. But that is what grief is, it's fluid and ever-changing. The trials and tribulations of life whilst living abroad. The realness and rawness of emotion, and the ability to smile again. Adventures for Sooz and my Dad's final journey. Blessed to be able to be a part of both.

You have a beautiful way of expressing your emotional journey that is real and relatable. Thank you for sharing.
There is also an inverted truth to understanding the saddness underneath the surface of appearing well. In some situations that we might think would destroy the inner joy. But with a compassionate closer look reveals a peace and acceptance in them that truly loves and appreciates every moment of living.
Good people, well worth finding and adding into your world, can be found in surprising places. May you always find them and the peace and love you need. ❤

Wow another amazing video Liberty, the scenery was beautiful, and to hear about your travels and your short time as a teacher in such a stunning part of the world, I would have liked to hear more about how the locals wasn’t very kind to you etc but the fact you collected rubbish every day to show them you meant well was such a lovely thing to do ❤. Now about the loss of your Dad, I didn’t see it as a bad thing that you got the news of his passing as you were embarking on a new adventure and boarding the plane to the most beautiful place on earth. I think it was a beautiful message to you from your Dad telling you to look ahead, go see the world my love and live a beautiful life!!!! I am pleased you still went and he will be too!!
Your speech as you were delivering his ashes to the beach made me cry 😢 it was so very touching 😢😢😢 it sounds like your relationship was very unique, and there’s nothing wrong with that, it’s beautiful. He will be looking down on you now saying “that’s my girl”!! Well done Liberty, love from Nic in Sheffield , UK 🇬🇧 ❤❤

It's always hard to be able to unconditionally love our parents. Once we can understand that our parents are human, make mistakes, and are definitely not perfect, but we still love them, then we find inner peace.

Thank you Libs, for sharing such a deeply emotional journey, for opening yourself up to us. You are a very special person. No wonder your Dad was proud of you. I bet he still is.
Grieving hits us at various times, when we least expect it. There's no time limit for it and every person is different in how they process it. And it stays with you forever to a certain degree. So just be you.
Wishing you peace, health and safety and sending you hugs and love. ❤

Liberty, I had only watched your travels, since Emma introduced me to your channel, and now I am watching the rest...backwards! I am just @3:45 (just near the beginning) here, and I stopped it to write! I am seeing a different part of you, and.....I think we could talk FOR HOURS.🥹 ("Days"?🤭🙄) Okay, I'm off to see the duration.🙏🙏
