Cool to find the marvel vs Capcom collection at Best Buy. I had to get 2 copies for my switch. These games are just awesome and such nostalgia. I also have the marvel Countercade I got a few years ago. Get these games while you can. Trust me these will be hard to find in the wild. This collection was a no-brainer.
"My first switch game and I don't even have a switch." Yep, I bought 2600 Pac-Man for like $18 and didn't have a 2600 to play it on. I still have an Atari 50th for switch still sealed since I emulate what I own. (Still don't own a Switch). That MKII cocktail at Synergy probably isn't moving because the protector for the top is missing from what I remember. You have got to be about the only person I know that fills up with premium at the pump.
It’s recommended in the owners Manuel :) that MK2 doesn’t play right either it’s backwards. January will be a good time to go back there. Hopefully this time jumping ahead before I actually have the console will pan out :)
I got my PS4 version of the MVC collection over at Target. You're kinda right, it seemed not to be there. The thing is you have to ask someone who works at the store for the game and 8 out of 10 they will have it for you.

Switch OLED bundle for $279? That's insane. I had the OLED and sold it recently for $200 but that's a great price. Makes me feel the Switch 2 may not be too far off.. Still if you didnt have a Switch, it still a great time to get one for that price and what a great first game you chose!

Did you pick up any new pinball packs, hope to see you on the leaderboards for this tourny which includes Going Nuts, Bubble Bobble and South Park. LokiO is so big for a female cat, I think AngelO is a lil panther but she still is growing. Switch Deal is hard to pass up.

Voltron’s been a pass on me because of the lack of die-cast. Plus I went all out with the Blitzway version. I’m going to my local BB today to pick up MVC for the switch.
They got me to double dip on MvC collection. I downloaded it on day one and my physical Switch copy is coming today. I had to have the physical, because this game, with all the crazy licensing and rights holders, will NOT be available in this form indefinitely. It’s a minor miracle that Disney/Marvel and Capcom were able to make this happen. It may never happen again. I bought the physical PS4 version, the Physical Switch version, and the digital Switch version. Which is dumb, but I didn’t want to miss out on the opening weeks of online play. With fighting games you want to get in on the ground floor. Of course, that was less important here, because there’s people that have been playing mvc2 for decades. So, normies, like me we’re going to get decimated no matter what. Still, I got caught up in the excitement of having these games back. I also, want to do my part to send a message to Capcom to keep this up. They seem to have gotten the message, as the Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is coming in early 2025. You’ll be pleased to know the Switch version of marvel v Capcom collection is surprisingly good. The previous Capcom fighting collection-the one with the Darkstalkers games was super laggy. This game doesn’t have any significant input delay that I can feel. Maybe the actual pros can feel a difference, but I haven’t heard anyone say anything really negative. Meanwhile, I’m in the process of upgrading the microSD card for one of my Switches from 1TB to 2TB. I’m doing it in the stupidest possible way, too. I got rid of my PCs a couple years ago. I’m not computer savvy and got tired of dealing with drivers and viruses and so forth. So I impulsively stripped down. I was never a big pc gamer so I don’t miss it, but it makes simple things complicated. Upgrading to a larger microSD card with a computer is super easy. Without one, I’m left to redownload over 1 TB of switch games. I’m 12 hours in and I’m only up to like 300gb. But I’ll finally have my whole digital library on the console. Previously, I had dozens of games in the cloud and needed to occasionally delete games to free up space. Switch games generally don’t have crazy file sizes, but some games, like Witcher 3 and LA Noire are like 30gb. If you’re getting a switch and plan on downloading a lot of games I’d recommend the SanDisk 1.5TB micro sd. It’s the best value. It’s like 1.5tb for $100. Where as the maximum capacity 2TB is a full $100 more. You always have to pay a bleeding edge tax for technology. Also, I imagine you know this, but never buy storage or batteries from Amazon. You never know what you’re going to get. MicroSD cards, SSDs, HDDs. You can’t trust any of it from Amazon. There’s so many scammers. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the Switch.

I've got the Zelda tears of the kingdom special oled switch. I enjoy playing as handheld but if you're going to play on the switch your going to need a compatible fight stick or switch controller. The joycons are really bad and playing with them gives me hand cramps. Do yourself a favour and get a controller or fight stick for that mvc. I need to grab a copy of mvc myself before they are difficult to find.
@PDX7 I get that way too. Buyers fever im told. Yeah AFM got here about 2 weeks ago. I'm sure I'm missing out on ssf but gotta say between speakers and solenoids is a huge improvement over hd. Completed the Monster Bash mode last night. Absolutely love this machine. Zen perform much better than I expected. They look amazing. Not sure where the complaints are coming from.

Unfortunately the European switch version only has a code in the case. I could import it but I will get the ps4 version instead.
