- In July 2023, I took my girls to Cedar Point for the first time and attempted to ride EVERY single coaster in the park in one day. This is how it went down.

When you said "the bad news is Sophie is too tall for kiddie coasters now" I thought you were gonna say "the good news is Amy will be able to help me get more kiddie credits soon" LOL
Haha yes very soon...I expect her to start riding coasters next spring
@@AirtimeThrillsI can’t wait for her first credit
@@Landermillnever count out the trainzzzz
Sophie finally got to cedar point! Let this be a historical day marking her first ride on steel vengeance
Pro tip: come during a weekday during the last 2 weeks of August and you'll find a ghost town. 20 min wait for SV
This is the move. As depressing as it is that the regular season is winding down these are the best days to visit.
It was really dead last night for the first night of Halloweekends too. Those first few Thursdays of Halloweekends are great for night rides with minimal waits.
Skyhawk, imo, is seriously underrated. That ride freaks me out every time! Especially at night! My 9yr old daughter absolutely loves it, though!
Glad you were almost able to complete your challenge! Always chase after yor goals!
Well, almost
Revisit when your younger one gets a little bigger? 🤔 May be able to get all 17..I mean..ahem..18.. pipe scream doesn't count for me either..but Top Thrill 2 should be a proven ride by then.
I love that (I’m assuming Chris’s wife) interjected and went “No Toro is #1” personally I say X2 but Steve is #2 for me.
Yes that was her interjecting her opinion without revealing herself
I came for Sophie's ruthless reviews, and I was not disappointed. The first time I rode Millennium my face was melted... not her, just an "eh". Haha.
Raptor is still my #1 ride in the park, my first favorite coaster.
Yeah I spoiled Sophie to the point where Millie is eh. Raptor is amazing, more impressive each time i ride it
So glad you had a good day at CP! I managed to get every credit in a day last month except for Raptor and WR. That’s a W visit for me
I love Cedar Point! Great coaster collection!
Looks like y'all had a good time! We went on our first trip out there last summer. My daughter was 11 then and she was able to ride all of these. Her favorite ended up being Magnum =)
A lady of good taste
I’m taking my 9 year old later this year! Can’t wait!
The roar echoing from the old school B&M’s is one of my favorite things about CP
After saving up for years for it (I'm from Europe), I finally went to CP in Late July 2022 and it did not disappoint. Steel Vengeance is my #1 coaster, but almost every ride here is unique in some way, shape or form. Too bad this was the year that TTD was shut down, but I honestly don't really miss not doing it. If I ever get the chance to go again, I would. BTW, I had the fast pass and managed to do every coaster in about 5 hours. When I tell people this they think I'm lying, but I'm not! Truth be told, there were thunderstorms forecast and I did experience some downtime because of it, but this made the park a whole lot emptier and because of the fast pass I got into almost every ride in no time. The longest I had to wait was for SteVe and it was only 30 minutes or so? I guess I got lucky :)
Definetly lucky
@@Aidanthewatermelon I feel blessed AF then
Amazing day, damn max height requirements 😢
You did all possible coasters though so think of it that way 😂
And by the looks of it you were lucky to get the other 15 before they went for a Burton 😊
P.s loved the intro 😂
We're at cedar point right now as I'm watching this for the opening day of Halloweekends!!!
Sophie is so chill getting off a coaster. Ice in her veins and crazy that millenuim is old enough to drink
I went a month ago and it was so fun! Steel Vengeance is easily the best coaster there such a fun experience
"Sophie, you're not a kid anymore. How does it feel?"
"It feels like regret" 15:04
😂☠️ she is so savage & I love it
She's wise beyond her years
I did something like this a few years ago. I had 15 of 16 coaster because TTD was down, and went on 16 of 16 flat rides (thrill category) in a day and a half. I had a list on my phone and was checking them off. A lot of walking because I visited 2 days and made many laps around the park.
The intro is funny, but cool
hilarious even🤣
Glad to find another Skyhawk lover! Sophie is 100% correct that it's the best ride in the world.
Thanks for bringing back memories from our summer trip! My 10 year old rode everything except Raptor and Wilderness Run, it was EPIC! Please keep these videos coming and enjoy riding coasters with Sophie.
5 rides each on Vengeance and Maverick tonight. 3 on Millenium. And a couple haunts. Thursday night at CP is the best.
oooooh you know what? Sophie's right about the cheese. We should have a cat cat too!
Can’t wait for Amy’s definitive train rankings
Broken coasters at Cedar Point, shocking! On my trip, I was amazed when something was open.
“This 2021 ride on Millennium Force redeemed itself it was pretty great!” *Taylor Bybee wants to know your location.*
Cedar Point is the GOAT
Best park I’ve ever been to. So many little things they do so well. Looks like y’all had fun!
Awesome! I actually got my 24th and 25th credit today in Velocicoaster and Hulk at Islands of Adventure. Velocicoaster unseated my No. 1 coaster Diamondback, while Hulk came in 6th, unseating a former #1 in Flight of Fear.
I wish sophie could have experienced the top 10 wrath of magnum xl 200
Can’t wait for Amy’s first looping credit
Haha that will probably be when she's 6...sooo 2027-2028
@@AirtimeThrills yeah
Awesome video! We have to get back there, I haven't been to CP in almost 20 years when Dragster was new and Millennium Force was semi-new (and RIP Wicked Twister). We need to get back there before our bodies get too old to ride (but honestly, I think as long as we keep riding coasters every summer, it keeps us ready to ride and used to it - the trick is to never stop!).
I’m never gonna forget hiding in a restaurant during a thunderstorm and hearing life could be dream come on. I was literally about to die laughing.
Great video as always. I was honored to meet you that day. Glad to hear your opinion of Corkscrew slightly improved since my son and i were able to share a car on Corkscrew.
Ah yes I remember. That ride shook me a bit
I got to ride the OG Top Thrill Dragster (which is still my #1 until i ride Top Thrill 2) and i got to ride Magnum XL 200 (whis is my current #1 i respect Arrow Dynamics for the coasters we have today) its one of my favorites
Honestly the more I go to Cedar Point the more convinced I am that Magnum is the best coaster in the park. I absolutely cannot get enough of the absurd powerful magic seat airtime
I hear ya. May be the most "fun" coaster I've ever ridden.
I hope you and your kids had an amazing time!
Sophie IS right! Skyhawk rules!
I was one of the ride ops that said hi to you on Wild Mouse! Glad you had fun
holy fish paste!! i never see that coming. great job
4:58 Funny you say that, I share an exact birthday with Desperado at Buffalo Bill’s!
I went during the last week of august midweek last year, since the kids around there are in school there's no one around. Got on all the rides with plenty of time to spare. Best time to go for sure.
This is the definition of a "w" video
We went a couple of weeks ago and got cheese car on Wild Mouse first try as well! Such a great park!
Love that you do train credits as well. 👍
I got one day at Cedar Point in 2022 and I was blown away. Can't wait to get back
I love the big swings too so that made me laugh 🤣🤣
Great video!!
5:20 I see what you did there… “Spike” in activity (matching the rumors surrounding Top Thrill Dragster surroundings in July)
We skipped the kiddie coasters & corkscrew. Got stuck 200ft up on millennium 😂 and rode everything. Got to go on Steve and Maverick twice. Very successful and tiring day
I've ridden maybe 40-50 coasters that girl's got me beat!
its funny how sophie doesnt seem too excited to ride some of the best coasters out there, or maybe she is! she hides it well
Cedar Point is my favourite theme park and Millennium Force is my favourite coaster.
We got the cheese on our first ride too!
The Cedar Creek Mine Ride is my first credit so will always have a soft spot for it, butr it made it laugh a bit when you didn't have it in with the kiddie coasters since Woodstock Express is 3 mph faster :).
i am going to cedar point on the 17th great video!
this video is so relevant for me because i’m going to be trying this exact thing on sunday with fast lane, but i’m hoping it won’t be SUPER crowded during the day due to kiddie halloween stuff. exciting!
Should be fine until about 2-3 o'clock. Thursday night is the best time to go right now. It's almost empty.
July. You're gonna have a bad time. French fry when you should have pizzad
I Love Magnum so much! It’s got so much personality
Loved the intro!
I made my frist visit to CP in 18 years over Memorial Day weekend. SteVe and Maverick became my #1 and #2, I ran into TH-camr Arcade Matt while riding Gemini, Magnum blew my mind, Valravn surprised me like I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. Raptor and Rougarou tried to rip my face off. Didn't get on Wild Mouse since it had an hour wait and no Fast Lane line. And even thought Millennium Force was fun enough to make my #3 favorite, I was very unhappy that they were allowing 5 minute dispatched in between trains. We were so upset having to wait as long as we did for it.
To be fair to Sophie, Skyhawk is my favorite flat ride at Cedar Point. And Screamin Swings are freakin awesome.
you’re telling me I was there the EXACT SAME DAY AS HIM!!! I’m so mad I didn’t get to see you there.
I love Blue Streak for the air time and will always remember the epic ride I had skipping school when a ride op suggested we unbuckle the seat belt after we left the station and I actually thought I was going to die, but, man, once I crossed 50 years old, my neck can't do the back anymore. Have to sub out some air time to save the chiropractor bills when I ride it now.
I never had an issue with roughness until this year. Crazy
As great as Cedar Point is they got some really rough rides. Especially Corkscrew and I while I haven’t been to the park in years now I’ve heard from friends how rough Gemini has gotten. The rough coasters is probably the biggest thing that keeps Cedar Point from being my #1 park. And how tight the restraints are for a big guy like me that hurts too
Looks like fun dad! Nothing I've enjoyed more than my days at Cedar point with my 2 boys. We're heading to WOF tomorrow!
Nice! WOF is a pretty fun laid back park
@@AirtimeThrills it's our first time visiting. Looking forward to prowler!
Love the intro!!
I was there July 3rd. It was sweltering hot, and both Maverick and Steve were down the second half of the day. It was kinda rough lol.
Gemini is my favorite at Cedar Point and most ridden coaster. Bummer Sophie didn't ride it. Although I might be subconsciously bracing or immune to the roughness after 30 years. Or it's just nothing compared to Corkscrew, the other Arrow loopers I've ridden, or Mean Streak.
Skyhawk is amazing though.
Ironically I also bought fast ones plus for Cedar Point on July 3rd back in 2021. My gf messed up her knee at work chasing a kid on the playground (she was working at a preschool at the time) and fell on the concrete landing her knee. Since it only hurt for a few days we thought she was fine and rode Steel Vengeance as soon as we got there are first day (after waking up at 2 am and leaving at 3 am that day just so I can get there at park opening😂) we found out the hard way that her knee was messed up and since I missed out a few coasters the first day and didn’t know when I was coming back I decided to drop the $200 and get the fast lane plus pass to get those credits. However it turned to be worth it my gf and I’s eyes as I only waited 20 minutes at most while stand by lines were 2-4 hours long. I know I rambled a bit but hearing buying a fast lane plus on July 3rd reminded me of that
I honestly respect you knocking steel vengeance Down a few spots and putting hakugei as your new number 1
Magnum is my favorite coaster ever and I’ve been able to convince my friends that it’s really good😊
She has 32 more credits than me
2:04 That Boardwalk sign is very reminiscent of the old Disneyland signage.
Best Intro of all time.
Did you see all the support beams and even some track pieces of top thrill 2 behind the cedar point express hotel? It was surreal to see
Looks like a great park. Sophie is a brave girl. Amy is so big now. Wow! Id like to ride Gatekeeper and Steel Vengance and the woodies. Sorry but its Yukon Striker all the way. I heard some talk that Corkscrew is being removed, is it true? Take care, enjoy your trip. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I did hear rumors about Corkscrew leaving just because some of the flats in the area were moved to the boardwalk. But that kind of linked in with the TTD project which we now know isn't encroaching on Corkscrew's land.
2:45 that is actually a really good point lol.
Cat chases mouse, mouse flees cat. Mouse chases cheese, cheese flees mouse. Pretty complex but makes sense
"how does it feel to not be a kid anymore?" "it feels like regret." Don't let go of that Sophie!
I was there!!! I remember not being sure if it was you and asking if you were airtime thrills on Millie. Sucks you guys got a bad ride cuz I had my second best ride on it. Tbh it’s one of the most temperamental roller coasters I’ve ever ridden. Like I was thinking about dropping it following that ride because every other ride I got on it was pretty weak and rough (until my most recent ride).
Love the intro😄
Completely agree, Pipe Scream is not a credit
somehow Im 12 and I have ridden all b&m dive coasters. I would agree, I would say diabolical #3 griffon #2 and yukon #1. I just love how it just feels more complete, without a mid course right after the immelmmann
i visited cedar point for the first time at the end of july and i managed to ride everything in 2 days💪💪(with the slight help of fastpass) steel vengeance def was the best
Went here last year for the time it didn’t disappoint
While I prefer Kings Island over Cedar Point. It's always a grand time at the Point. Steel Vengeance and Maverick are the best coasters there for me. Some fun facts, Raptor debuted 81 days before I was born, and on the same day my dad turned 31.
SteVie #1 and SkyHawk = Best Flat on Earth. Fun Video from my home park
On a screamin swing, straighten your legs at the time you would do that to power an actual swing. That is some of the most thrilling airtime you can get. Provided you aren't stapled.
I was the kid who yelled to you on the back row of millennium force. and then got the picture with you at the exit. Loved the video. It was great meeting you!
On July 3rd I saw you.
That was the first multi-level selfie I ever got with anyone
Steel Vengeance is so good, but the locker thing is just such a bummer; it makes it not worth the hassle for repeated rides (in contrast, the Fastlane for Maverick next door is just ridiculously good, assuming Maverick is operable). Also, on the Mine Ride the ride ops (in June, anyway) had everyone cross their legs so they could get the lap bars down; very odd (and not comfortable).
I think their locker system is the best theyve come up with but it still is a hassle
This is why i try to do SteVe and Maverick early before the inevitable afternoon meltdown.
Hell I was probably there when he took Sophie I go every time in the summer mostly May, June and July bc they’re best and not that busy bc they’re open every day in the deep summer but when it’s close to the end of summer they’re only open on the weekends for Halloweekends
I am honestly so confused you went straight from calling Gemini rough, to praising Magnum. 😅 I always have super enjoyable rides on Gemini, the hard brake at the end being the roughest part.
Magnum however, I almost cannot ride it anymore. Bruises and spinal compaction galore. 😢
I never have an issue with Magnum, other than being a bit janky it was not rough at all...then Gemini with its potholes were damaging my kidneys it was very odd
I appreciate Sophie's love of Skyhawk. Seriously so good!
@@astralhitchhiker12I love screamin swings. My favorite is the one at Busch gardens Williamsburg because you can try to wave to people on the skylift while you’re in the air
I love all the coasters but one is by far the best it’s Steel Vengeance I’m going for Halloweekends and by far the busiest times but good for the scare
"Cause she smells like cheese." - Chris 2023
I was there in July and now steel vengeance is my favorite #1, before used to be Twisted Colossus until ohio but that can change once I head to Florida in 2025
I went to cedar point last summer after only starting to like coasters earlier that summer and I couldve 100% rode everything without a fastpass, but for some reason I decided after riding millenium, steve, mavrick, magnum, and like some outher ones i didnt want to ride anymore and now im mad at myself for not riding like half of them even if the best ride is going to be steve by far
St. Louis!
I didn't go at all in July from a combo of work + the heat, I hope you didn't melt while you were there. And I hope ops weren't as bad for you as they've been for me this year.
I actually went to stl twice this year. 2nd time was crowded but they had 2 trains on everything but freeze
@@AirtimeThrills Crazy! I didn't see 2 trains on anything either visit I've had though I did miss Batman both times (first time everything went down for weather and I prioritized Freeze that day, second time we ended up marathoning American Thunder and just assumed the ERT would include more than Boomerang and Mine Train).
I don't think the switch station reliably works for Freeze any more, not sure the last time it was working off the top of my head.
Amy is the best cowgirl 🔥
I have a high tolerance for rough rides and I like every coaster in the park except Rougarou which I think is trash. I think B & M floorless coasters are boring in general but this converted floorless is a head banger and I have to ride defensively with my head forward almost the entire ride
