I came to San Diego last year during winter to surf, it was awesome... this year I think I might be delayed untill late winter/ early spring, are the conditions as good during early spring VS winter?

@@FTWLiveMusicScene I am so on board with you. I surfed for 50+ years and have only a couple of pics of me. That is one of the reasons I am videoing. I enjoy it, keeps me in it. Anyone that has requested their footage, I upload to google and give them a link. It is giving them something that neither of us has, videos yourself surfing. More waves coming!

You're doing allot of work with drones, charging batteries, drone expense, capture. editing ECT - I wish you filmed Carlsbad, I'd gladly pay you - Great high quality footage ! Chuck, we are on the same page. I really liked this boards shape and the length, Skip Frye model. He got so many wave that others could not drop into. I left a number of his rides out, because he had so many.
@@bacondudepastor That guy is me. The board is a one off shaped by the fabulous Rich Harbour. I had back surgery and a hip replacement last year so I asked Rich to make me his version of a glider. This 12 footer is it. Catches anything and rides very well.
Great stuff! I'm a surfer, photographer and drone pilot, too! Regarding flight controls, safety and reliability, how do you like the Autel Evo2 Pro vs. Phantom 4 Pro? Not caring about video quality because I feel they're both "good enough", but definitely interested in the Autel because the DJI has too many NFZ restrictions. Thanks! Love your channel.
Hi Jack, I like the 40 min. battery. Here is the problem I am dealing with, I put the Evo in the equivalent Sport mode. It is not as responsive as my Phantom 4 Pro. The Evo does not change directions, it has a tendency to drift in the originally direction it was traveling. The sensor are great except when you are trying to fly low over the water, wave approaching, danger, so it slow down, not responsive. I don't get that in the Phantom. So I have been try to fly low, but use the 2X zoom to make up the difference. Still working on it. Yes, no geo fencing, big plus.

Dudes, my greatest fear is to splash in the ocean. But so far so good. I have flown over 700 miles with my drones, so I feel pretty lucky.
