Feels good to finally have watched the entire dark signer arc. As I kid I only got up to the episode where luna freed ancient fairy dragon, after that the episodes just seemed to disappear. It was good to finally watch it through fully !
Well, it took about 64 episodes, some jail time, some cringey enemies to friends, and a lot of card games on motorcycles, but Yusei finally made his dream a reality😊
You forgot going through sewers, betting police couple of times, stealing back motorcycle, hiding in streats, winning tournament and some shadow duels.
So crow, jack and yusei built an enormous pristine 3 lane highway bridge that is several hundred metres long by themselves in a matter of days with no one noticing and with no money or resources...seems legit.
Sure rules were bent (or just outright broken) and many, MANY mistakes were made in production and scripting; but I don’t care. It was so nostalgic to see Majestic Star Dragon again after TEN FREAKING YEARS and to see an entire Duel without Speed Warrior for once 😂. I pray Majestic Dragon comes to Duel Links soon.

Yugioh 5ds still has 2 technically 3 more arcs crash town arc(you get the see kalin and guns and old west) worth seeing WGRP (its far to interesting to miss but a tournament this is where aporia and meklords show up and tons of awesome turbo duels) thats it for the dub but if you want that GOOD SHIT then try the sub and you get the ARC CRADLE ARC (ITs amazing and closes out the story super well and everything just amazing watch it)

And so with the power of friendship the 3 musketeers fly off into the sunset on their flying fire dragon, and upon the seventh day (trying to add a bit of realism), they rested and marvelled at the million dollar express bridge without ever having to break a sweat or bank account to do so. Truely this is the power of friendship at its finest.
Though that IS how friendships are like. People come and go through time, so Stardust Dragon does represent both the good and bad parts of Friendships.
So Goodwin just forgot Yusei singlehandedly beat Jack TWICE, as well as personally beating TWO dark signers including Goodwins brother? I think he's far from amateur status.

Yugioh had Zorc who was a god GX had actual Death playing a card game 5Ds had Goodwin Zexal had Don Thousand, who was basically revered as a deity And Arc V had Z-ARC who was the greatest duelist to ever live turned into a Dragon God. So yeah, if you want to be a God, never lose a game of of Uno
I remember a friend of mine got hilariously annoyed that Goodwin had sooooo many counters to the protagonists. He would always describe it as; I will attack with- Nope. Well, I’ll use its special ability and- Nope. Well at the very least I’ll use this spell/trap card’s effect and- Nope. He legit got so annoyed at how many times he countered so many abilities though for me I kept trying to rationalize it by saying since he’s the true final boss of the season plus he’s up against three duelists, it would make sense he would have so many counterattacks for them. But again, that said, his complaints were still funny for me.
Notice, most of Rex's counters were against Yusei. First it was Offering to the Immortals, then Destruct Potion, then Passion of Baimasse, and of course we can't forget Meteor Flare. That in addition to Sun Dragon Inti and Moon Dragon Quilla being an overall menace due to their looping...
Goodwin says it's all thanks to Yusei but I like to think the others played a part too - especially Trudge since he saved Yusei and Mina from that watery trap Sayer set.
There are plenty of comments about the plausibility of Yusei and friends building the bridge by themselves. But I'm just admiring the mini comeback theme that plays at 16:22 - 16:29.
They do in VRAINS, to some degree! The only people who downright break the rules are the villains (using skills during master duels) and once when Playmaker got Darkfluid from the Ingises, and if you want to be technical maybe the second effect of neo storm access (I don’t count but some people might!)
Can we talk about the sound cues and music of these series especially this season. I loved this ending song that was playing while they were riding it really felt like the end all be all at least to me

So wait, *how* did they build the bridge? Something like that would be a federal project, meaning the city would have to agree to it. First off, how did they agree to get the city to agree to that given the prejudice against Satellite? Second, if Jack, Crow and Yusei did just barge in and say "build the bridge", and were in charge of building it, then why are Trudge and the others acting like they haven't been seen since Majestic Star Dragon flew them into the sunset?
Well the city would agree satelite has alot of free land the city could expand to and its already pretty industrialised but the one who didnt alow it was godwin without him i think the city would agree but i dont know how they got the money and reasorces to build that bouhemout of a bridge that is something to question
It actually would make more sense if Leo got the mark tbh because Life Stream Dragon was shown in Lunas Nightmare and Life Stream Dragon needs Power Tool Dragon and a Level 1 Tuner (Majestic Dragon for Example). And as we all know, Power Tool Dragon is Leo's signature Card.
So my theory for this mystical bridge that was somehow created in a matter of days is that the dragon actually took them forward in time around 2 years or so and took the newly completed satellite/new domino bridge that future yusei, jack and crow built after completing a construction trade school and left an i.o.u card. Then took it back in time around a few days after the final battle and placed the bridge down. Explaining why no construction seems to be around and no one noticing its existance as no one is crossing this massive bridge

On the prior episode, Yusei attempted to banish Quilla for a second time using Junk Archer, but Rex countered with Destruct Potion, blowing up Quilla and regaining 2500 LP (5400 -> 7900). This also caused Inti to return with 3000 ATK. Try to pay attention.

I like that ending but I just realised that don't duelists in this series has to have a driver's license to play this Duel or any Duel and wouldn't this cramp the world's area of the forests and block up roads. Man, Yu Gi Oh has gotten over to be aimed at teens or adults when it got to this series

5D'S could have easily ended here in this first season nothing much was put into after Earthbound Immortals Arc really. Just a bunch of random new villains that came out of nowhere and are from the future it's an interesting concept but still isn't nearly as good as the first season though and I'd have to watch the sub episodes to see how it ended because it wasn't finished on dubbed obviously I hated going through all that much trouble but all well it was still satisfying enough.
Season 2 was a big pain to find the episodes between dub and sub. But team ragnarok were the true heroes of season 2 ( they saved season 2 from dieing ). Also we got scar red nova dragon, shooting star dragon and black winged dragon and life stream dragon etc. So cool.
I watched all episodes I really hope y'all keep continuing the episodes cuz I was younger I remember seeing more episodes like I did not see here at all
i'd strongly suggest watching the sub of it, as a good chunk of the rest of the series was cut out, like how jack got red nova, how lazare came back, and the actual ending to 5ds and the robots
@Mister Perfection I don't have to. They're doing that all on their own. And I can pinpoint out things of the cards if I want. Because most people are not like you or others, and WOULD actually think the cards are screwed up somehow. If the anime says so, then it must be so, according to them.

It does actually kinda make sense. Not only is Leo not a signer yet, but Akiza and Luna both can already materialize their dragons into reality with their own separate powers. Akiza cause she's a psychic duelist and Luna with her connection to the duel spirits (She doesn't really use this power often, but we know it's possible cause Jaden did it all the time in the last season of GX. And it makes sense that she would only pull it off in this moment since she's nowhere near as powerful as Jaden was after fusing with Yubel). Leo may be destined for greater things, but at this point he's a normal kid letting his super powered friend and twin do their thing.

So my theory for this mystical bridge that was somehow created in a matter of days is that the dragon actually took them forward in time around 2 years or so and took the newly completed satellite/new domino bridge that future yusei, jack and crow built after completing a construction trade school and left an i.o.u card. Then took it back in time around a few days after the final battle and placed the bridge down. Explaining why no construction seems to be around and no one noticing its existance as no one is crossing this massive bridge

On the prior episode, Yusei attempted to banish Quilla for a second time using Junk Archer, but Rex countered with Destruct Potion, blowing up Quilla and regaining 2500 LP (5400 -> 7900). This also caused Inti to return with 3000 ATK.

5D'S could have easily ended here in this first season nothing much was put into after Earthbound Immortals Arc really. Just a bunch of random new villains that came out of nowhere and are from the future it's an interesting concept but still isn't nearly as good as the first season though and I'd have to watch the sub episodes to see how it ended because it wasn't finished on dubbed obviously I hated going through all that much trouble but all well it was still satisfying enough.
Season 2 was a big pain to find the episodes between dub and sub.
But team ragnarok were the true heroes of season 2 ( they saved season 2 from dieing ).
Also we got scar red nova dragon, shooting star dragon and black winged dragon and life stream dragon etc. So cool.

It does actually kinda make sense. Not only is Leo not a signer yet, but Akiza and Luna both can already materialize their dragons into reality with their own separate powers. Akiza cause she's a psychic duelist and Luna with her connection to the duel spirits (She doesn't really use this power often, but we know it's possible cause Jaden did it all the time in the last season of GX. And it makes sense that she would only pull it off in this moment since she's nowhere near as powerful as Jaden was after fusing with Yubel). Leo may be destined for greater things, but at this point he's a normal kid letting his super powered friend and twin do their thing.
Now it's up to Yusei Fudo to defeat Rex Goodwin & the King of the Netherworld.
