Cassandra Nova looks a lot like Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One. I wonder if anyone else noticed that of if it was just me?

Hugh Jackson's first appearance as Wolverine was set in a bar, cage fighting for free drinks. More of a reference to that.
Maybe the Magneto w/Charles scene meeting Wolverine was a callback to that too.
That scene reminds me of upcoming insomniac's wolverine game.
He’s been in a bar in several movies. And a myriad of comics. It’s just a hallmark of the character.
I too thought it looked like the bar from the first X-Men movie. Resembles it very closely. New bartender and maybe updated decor.
Just as First Class was a reference to that first scene also.
I bet Wolverine's mess up & how his world ended was he chose to spare Jean instead of killing her when she want Phoenix Nova!
The fact that this trailer came out on the 35th anniversary of Like a Prayer is a good sign for this movie.

When a R-rated movie arrives here in Brazil, the rating is generally lowered to 16 years old. When I watched the first films there were many parents with children. In the second, several children came dressed as Deadpool.
Yeah I watched the first Deadpool when I was 12 when it first came out, if you got good parenting then the kids should be fine 😂
The TVA facility in Loki looked quite HUGE.

Cassandra Nova's origin is weird, being a Charles Xavier variant would be consistent with the multiverse saga and much simpler for casual audiences to grasp, good theory
The issue is her power set is dramatically different than Charles Xavier’s.

Some parents will probably take their kids to see this movie. Reminds me of that interview between a Parent and a five year old kid going to see Alien back in the 70s and being happy they got to see it
I used to work with a guy that took his 6yo grandson to see sausage party after seeing the trailer and not paying attention
I think I was 5 when I saw Jurassic Park in theater and I regret nothing. ❤

I’m glad the trailer isn’t giving away most of the major cameos and I’m pretty sure that famke janssen is in the movie cos of how strongly she denied it (I’ve learned from Andrew Garfield lmao)

My biggest hopes for cameos in this movie is James Marsden, Daphne Keen, Blake Lively, and Anna Paquin.
The problem with immortals like Wolverine is that they carry their pain longer than normal people. They cannot die that easy no matter how they much they try to kill themselves. Their abilities have become their curse.
Yeah.. feel bad for immortals. All the ones I’ve met have been really depressing.
They are mutants who can use magic too. Forge in X-men 97 looks similar to Dr.Strange's. There's also Madelyn as Goblin Queen, Pixie and my favorite Illyana.

Forge using Strange’s style of magic would not exist if it wasn’t for Disney buying Fox animation… in my opinion.
@@majorlazor5058 I agree. Forge uses Native American magic. He's a Shaman like Nightwolf from MK. I think they animated like that in X Men 97 to be more clear to non comic book fans that he was using magic and not his mutation

Great breakdown there, bub. Clearly this is a great year for X-Men fans. I hope that people who haven’t seen the Loki show won’t be confused. But otherwise the film looks incredible.
The funny thing in the liefield scene is that the street signs say “one way only” and both come from the opposite direction. I think it is hilarious and tells a lot about both characters.
I wouldn't get carried away with cameo hopes. You'll just be disappointed. That's not what this movie needs to be good. Just Yellow & Red. We're lucky to be getting that.

I had to VOD the stream sadly, but I really felt you as a true fan of the comic world when saying you NEED to stay ahead of the curve but try your hardest not to spoil your own experience. You always encourage others not to spoil it for others etc. Thank you, this was awesome! P.S. Rebecca Romijn Mystique please...to this day, I still randomly say aloud Homo Sssapien!
Rebecca Romjin didn't have a lot of dialog, which is probably why they went with a model in the first three more than an actress. Her only relationship seems to be with Magneto, perhaps because both led a "Brotherhood of Evil Mutants," in the comic books, though at separate times. It also seemed out of character when she got shot, lost her powers and turned into a blonde lady (with makeup on) who was shy about her nakedness on the street. But I guess they made her modest because it was the real actress's body and not painted blue with attachments.
But I think they felt they needed an actress to portray her when her storyline was prominent in the next 3 or 4 movies and chose Jennifer Lawrence. Certainly she talks a lot. Dissing the role wasn't a good idea to keep fans. I saw her latest, _No Hard Feelings,_ and I like the confidence she shows as she strides towards the boys on the beach who stole her clothes and beats them up; very Mystique-like. I think they just showed one half of her body, with the other half being shown in _Red Sparrow._
Deadpool poster is more interesting. For the bar, isn’t this in X-Men 1? That’s how Logan reacted to Rogue?

I love the breakdown Grace! By the way, you can move the timeline frame by frame by pausing it (space bar) and then pressing "," to go back a frame and "." to go forward a frame; that way you can get to the exact frame you want to to show.
It would be a hilarious joke for Deadpool to reference Cassandra's super messed up comic book origin and for her to just respond with, "Who is Charles?" And Deadpool to just go, "Oh variant. Well that simplifies things."

6:55 I have a friend that was thinking about watching Invincible with his 11 year old son. We were watching season 2, the episode were Mark loses his virginity, and that scene is the one that deter him of watching the show with his kid. Not the extreme violence, but the implication of sex (the sex scene isn't explicit at all)

I feel like the TVA has to be some kind of film division or something. When they meet in that first trailer he does say he’s like “Marvel Jesus” and they show clips from assorted MCU movies, which could totally just be something they did for the trailer. The 20th Century logo kind of hints at that as well. Perhaps he’s cleaning up past Fox movies (with all the rumored cameos)? Like a mini Deadpool kills the marvel universe. That doesn’t have to be the whole premise, maybe that’s how they start and they felt stuck in a multiversal dilemma. It’s probably too far fetched, but I feel like that would be fun 🤷♀️

Perhaps it could be an early version of the TVA. During the events of Loki, the TVA had already been fully established. In the new Deadpool, I suspect it could be when the TVA was still early in it's development, hence the different look, or maybe due to the events of the finale of Loki season 2, this could be the new version of the TVA.
Don't they change the bridge look of the Enterprise in almost every _Star Trek_ movie, just because they can? I think this is similar. Or maybe it's just so big they use a different set of offices for Deadpool's visit?
