Stylish Dad hey man, just to let ya know you’re camera was over exposed. If you have the option on your camera turn on zebra stripes to help, or just turn it down a notch from what you think is good. That way when you edit it you can bring up the brightness and color when you become more into editing.
Think would be helpful for the beginners to mention to turn the shirt inside out before you sew it to hid the seams. I do similar as I’m fairly tall at 6’5” so had to buy 2xl to 3xl for the length but then I’m always floating in extra material. Great vid man!
@@user-vg1tt3vg9y Google begins replacing Android Pay and Google Wallet with new app 135 Now one app called Google Pay By Chaim Gartenberg@cgartenberg Feb 20, 2018, 9:41am EST SHARE
Image: Google Google Pay - Google’s new unified payments service, which combines Google Wallet and Android Pay - is finally rolling out today with a new app for Android devices. The app is sorted into two halves: a “Home” tab, which shows recent payment activity, nearby local offers and stores, and other information using Google’s card-style interface, and a “Cards” tab, which is where all your individual credit, debit, reward, and gift cards live.
Google has big plans for Google Pay, with the company promising that service will be making its way to all Google products, including Chrome and Assistant. And like Android Pay before it, you’ll be able to use cards and payment information stored in Google Pay across a wide variety of apps and websites when using an Android device or Chrome, too. Google Pay will also work for transit in cities including Kiev, London, and Portland, although that depends a lot on where you live and what your city’s public transit looks like. (Looking at you, MTA.) Google is also working on integrating its Venmo-like service from Google Wallet directly into the Google Pay app for the US and UK markets. But for now, the company has rebranded the Google Wallet app as Google Pay Send and updated the design to match the rest of Google Pay.

Love the topic and your presentation style. You've nailed the combination of humor, infectious energy, being relatable, and being very supportive of your audience. This was the first video of yours I've seen, and I've already subscribed and watched several more. I came back to this video specifically to comment because I wanted to make a suggestion for something you missed in this video. I knew enough about tailoring before to know you turn the item inside out before cutting and sewing. The first time I watched, I was waiting for you to say that, but you didn't. As you started cutting and sewing, I was sitting here thinking, "You can do that on the outside!?!" It was only when I went back and watched again that I saw the hoodie actually WAS inside out. That's a critical step that just takes a few extra words to get across. I love how you've organized the video description with supporting information--I completely agree with referencing extra information like this rather than trying to cram it all into every video. Just be sure to hit on each of the major steps you're taking with the item, itself. That's my only critique in the whole video. Keep up the awesome work, man!
I started tailoring shirts a few years ago. Huge difference, and very satisfying. A nice Cabelas shirt, not abused, can last years, so 20 or so minutes to get the fit right is very rewarding. I find that tailoring t-shirts also requires shortening the sleeves so the cuff goes over the biceps. I find tailoring the sleeve cuffs to be difficult. I don't recall seeing a video from you on shortening the sleeves. If not, can you do one?
I like both slim and boxy tees. But with the larger shirts the sleeves will point out. A video on shortening and or making the sleeve tighter so it fits around your arm would be great.
I hate baggy shirts because they make me look shorter. So, I asked my Moms to Taylor a couple of my favorite shirts for me lol. She said sure, but you have to fix my sewing machine. I did and now my shirts fit perfectly. She showed me how to do it myself, so now I can do it on my own. By the way, I really like your template idea. I'll definitely use it in the future.

What size was the hoodie originally. Thank you for showing us the sleeves. Ive been asking for this and you sir have come through. If im an XL hoodie should I buy an XL or a 2xl cause ill have more fabric to work with.
My hoodie was a large which was my "normal" size. I would get your regular size because if you size up too much then the shoulder seams are going to come down too far on your shoulders and it will look weird. Trust me, I made that mistake...

It's probably common in the tailoring world, but how you resized the garment blew my mind. I think this just saved my life, honestly. I have so many clothes I don't wear because they just don't fit how I want them to. I'm going get a sewing machine this weekend o/
It saved my life too man, seriously. Wearing clothes that fit me well was a game changer for EVERYTHING! Definitely give tailoring a shot, and don't hesitate to shoot me a message on IG if you get stuck at all! Good luck!
@stylish instead of pins, try sewing it shut with large spaces inbetween and some bright contrasting fabric. you can cut them to make it easy to pull out when your done.
Glad I found you so I can look fly af. Also, as a new subscriber that's a broke college student, how would you recommend tailoring things without a sewing machine? How would you get started?
I'm new at this and I've been watching tons of how-to videos. I just loved your channel! You make me feel like I can actually do this, haha. Thank you so much. You're a great teacher!
I rarely see videos with this amount of quality. I mean, the acting is amazing. Both clear in what it needs to be transmited, yet kinda relaxed and really close. And the dialogue with himself, brilliant. Fun, well shot... Man, i even want to try and do it myself!
Just an idea: if you wash AND DRY your new hoodie before tailoring, you may not need to bring it in quite as much. AND you will not risk unwanted shrinkage AFTER tailoring.
Great video , Not too many man would do this because to them it would be too much work to do and they would rather take it to a tailor have them do it 😂 great job on the tailoring and the vid was fun to watch 👍😁

I like both slim and boxy tees. But with the larger shirts the sleeves will point out. A video on shortening and or making the sleeve tighter so it fits around your arm would be great.

Oh my lord!! New favorite channel!! Tailoring & sewing are such valuable skills - thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!!
I must say, I’m impressed. This was the first of your videos I’ve seen and I love everything about it. Short intro, cut the boring bits and get straight to the point, perfectly informative, you knew what questions we’d ask and answered them for us, you’re quick and fun AND you still make time to throw in a few jokes! These are the kind of how to videos I can easily obsess over. Thank you so much for doing this! I can’t wait to get home and finally taylor my hoodies! You’ve earned yourself a new subscriber. Good job! Looking forward to binge watching all your vids. 🥳
Popped up in suggested. Video so good I subbed!
Welcome to the fam bro!
Great vid...you have nailed (or pinned) the presenter role! Not only did I learn things you made me smile watching...keep it up fella
Thanks for the kind words bro! I appreciate that! I've never heard that one before haha.
@@StylishDTailors You give us lots of advice and plenty of gems but the best thing about your channel is your transparency. Please stay the same when your channel blows up. Your conne tion with us out here means alot more than you know....
Dude thanks man! I honestly started out that way, like a lot of youtubers trying to kind of putting on a front and making their life seem more amazing than it is. But in reality I'm like a lot of people, I'm an ordinary guy who is a dad and doesn't make a ton of money and makes videos trying to do something *different* for a change. I wanna be that guy that I like to watch, the one I can identify with and that understands me ya know?
@@StylishDTailors Youre accomplishing your mission. Keep up the good work
Some items you can size up like you say but as sd said generally you want to base the size you go for on the harder things to fix eg shoulders
You're a COOL dad! This is very educational! We need more dads like you. 👨🏾
Thank you!
Your on Reddit front page!
You'll be getting allot of views from there for a while
I love this guys personality and humor!
This guy loves your comment!
Can't you just use safety pins if you don't wanna punch yourself? 🤷🏽♂️
Just don't punch yourself??
@@StylishDTailors *pinch* 😅
Lol, you can use safety pins yes but you want to replace them with regular pins before you sew it.
Good luck!
oversized hoodies are the best hoodies. especially when the sleeves are big af
This dude has the best energy on TH-cam. Awesome videos
Thank you!!
This video is stupid informative
Awesome
Okay, this guy is awesome. Can’t believe I just found this channel.
Thanks Isaac!
Now I gotta find a sewing machine? Wow!🤣
Just did a T-shirt... can't wait to try this!!! Thank you man!!!
This is amazing. Love your style too! This is doing good on reddit! Peace
Thanks for the kind words bro! And yes it is, its nice finding people like me who *hate* settling for baggy clothes...
Boom! Glad to have you here!
I'm new at this and I've been watching tons of how-to videos. I just loved your channel! You make me feel like I can actually do this, haha. Thank you so much. You're a great teacher!
Thank you for the awesome comment! Dive in and give it a shot!
You can use safety pins instead of straight pins. They won't stick you.

@@StylishDTailors I see what you did there.
😋😋😋
I rarely see videos with this amount of quality. I mean, the acting is amazing. Both clear in what it needs to be transmited, yet kinda relaxed and really close. And the dialogue with himself, brilliant. Fun, well shot... Man, i even want to try and do it myself!
Thank you SO MUCH for the kind words, that was awesome to read!
Just an idea: if you wash AND DRY your new hoodie before tailoring, you may not need to bring it in quite as much. AND you will not risk unwanted shrinkage AFTER tailoring.
I really like this channel, its very practical in an impractical way, im suprised i haventwatched a lot mor eof your vids, subbed
Dude you cant be eating peanut M&M's and be looking like that! I'm jealous.
Lol!

So bad I don’t have a sewing machine
This guys so cool 😎 I’m going to buy a sewing 🧵 machine 😂
Great video ,
Not too many man would do this because to them it would be too much work to do and they would rather take it to a tailor have them do it 😂 great job on the tailoring and the vid was fun to watch 👍😁
Cuddi has not heard of a clothes pin?
Day and nite!
Wanting to help make fabric masks... discover your vids and hell ya I was thinking I needed to go to a tailor... Getting a machine this month during this pandemic... Thanks man!
I actually like loose fitting clothes so I'm just watching this for curiosity sake. Good video.
Different strokes for different folks, it's all good.
This is the first video I’ve watched on your channel and I actually love you already
Love you more Charlie!
