#Blurays #4kmovies #kinolorber - บันเทิง
Ken still doesn't know about Arrow releasing the Friday the 13th remake in 4k otherwise his head would've exploded over the excitement.
Literally lol
@@JamesLong80 I knew
Who cares
Ken I recommend you get It Takes Two in the Kino sale. It’s a fun little known 80’s comedy. It’s about a guy who goes to Dallas to buy a “Lamborghini” as a last hoorah before his wedding and essentially has a night of mis-adventure in the city. Portions of it were actually filmed in the town where I live now outside of Dallas. If you liked Secret Admirer you should like this one too.
The Screaming Woman is an excellent 70's.made for Tv horror flick. A high recommendation for me. 👍
Kino Sale and Criterion\Arrow Sale🎉 wow! I should have saved more money
When's the Arrow sale?
Brad you need to include that Kino Lorber charges $8 shipping for a $9 Blu-ray..If you are only interested in one title it’s not worth it. If you are buying multiple items it’s a good deal if not go elsewhere.
They don’t charge me shipping or taxes at all. And my name is not Brad. Lol
Sorry' bout the Brad thang! It's weird wanted to purchase Happy B Day to me.. $9.99 the shipping was $8 and couldn't be changed no other options were given. Maybe they recognize that you buy more and decided to waive shipping.. Thanks for looking out. 😊
Placed my order yesterday. Got a order processed email this morning 👍😁
-Tropic Thunder 4K
-Metropolis
-Nosferatu
-A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night
-Sex Madness Revealed
Kino has the most eclectic library of movies of any boutique label ❤
OMG!...I'm getting so many titles between the Kino/Criterion/Arrow sales!
Don't know where I'm going to put them all!!!
Already ordered Target blu-ray, the Fletch blu-ray, the Leviathan 4K, and finally picked up Tropic Thunder on 4K. The one I most wanted on this sale was the Target blu-Ray. I watched a Kino Lorber podcast this week where Frank Tarzi said Career Opportunities is getting a 4K.
Thanks for sharing the Career Opportunities 4k info. I never caught the podcast before but by chance have you heard anything about Kino releasing Uncle Buck to 4k? I swear I heard Ken bringing it up in a past video.
@@ForEternia Tarzi also said “Uncle Buck” is getting a 4K in the same podcast.
Thanks for the heads up! Just purchased 8 discs.
Awesome!
Passing on this one. Just ordered Risky Business and Bound on 4k from the Criterion sale and the Riddick special edition from Arrow.
A couple weeks ago amazon had a lot of kino at 15 a piece. Copying the target sale and Kino were 19.99 buy 1 get 1 half off got a few glad I got them then
I can’t believe they still have copies of Red Dragon with a slipcover. That movie is 🔥
Thank you Ken for always keeping us updated on the sales
Thank for the update got my order in
Great sale-thanks for the recs. I dont have much to spend rn, but tempted by Serpico and Ronin-those are amazing flicks.
Yay!!!
Hi Ken happy Friday and 4th of July smile 😁😁
Thanks for the heads up. I haven't received my email alerting me to the sale yet. Shopping it now.
Ken. If you haven’t seen The Score, get on that IMMEDIATELY. One of my fav DeNiro films, but IMO, the BEST performance ever from Edward Norton. Fantastic movie, directed by Yoda aka Frank Oz, and the final performance from the great Marlon Brando. And The Best of Times is one of my favorite football movies. Another great 80’s flick. And this 80’s kid LOVES Gotcha!! Check them out man! One more thing. I lost my dad last year, and Fistful was his absolute favorite movie of all time. So i just bought the Blu ray!! Thanks for the heads up man🤙🏻
I got Cujo 4K ( on my list for a while) and 3 Eastwood westerns on 4K.
Just ordered a couple blue ray and 4k. Was hoping Silence of the Lambs on sale. No luck.
The thumbnail is correct, the Criterion sale did start today. 😂 Kino has some films I like, but I own them on blu-ray and I don't know if I like them enough to bother upgrading. I did pick up Touch of Evil though, since I only had it on DVD.
Also, early this morning I made my first order for B&N’s criterion sale: Blue Velvet (4K) and Targets (BR). Ah the perks of being life long nite owl 😄
Nice! I need to see Blue Velvet again to settle how I feel about it before getting it, lol. Personally, I'm looking for Eraserhead, Parasite, Raging Bull, and maybe Rashamon.
Pick up North Dallas Forty! Consider the best football movie!
Given the movie selection, I don't know why this the best sale of the year lol
Pricing
In Bruges is tits
I'm pretty good on Kino. Didn't want too much this sale but ordered Invasion of the Body Snatchers 4K (the Donald Sutherland one) and The Manchurian Candidate 4K (the Denzel Washington one), also preordered Brokeback Mountain 4K, while not on sale I don't want to wait until the next one.
Brokeback Mountain??!😂
and that is funny, why?
Aside from a few, Seems like the same movies from every sale.
@@ESPINOZA316 They have at least 6 new 4Ks, so those are guaranteed to have never been in a sale.
I still find the arrow announcement a bit more exciting
Do kino lorber blu rays run out of slip covers? I noticed the good bad and the ugly still has a blu ray slip cover. I'm thinking about buying the 4K and the Blu ray just to put the slip on my 4k
My main pickup will be High Noon. It's one of my favorite westerns. (Cool As Ice is one of the worst movies I've ever seen.)
Friday the 13th 4k arrow!!!
Tropic Thunder sucks!
“Best” is subjective. For every Misery in their collection, there’s 10 bad movies that for some reason got a 4k upgrade.
I’ll take a 50% off criterion film over a $17 dud with a 4k makeover any day.
This is simply not true. You may think that films like Kindergarten Cop or Leviathan are "duds", but to say that 90% of their 4K output, or blu-ray output in general, is duds is ignorant, seeing that they've released more classic Hollywood films than any other boutique label ever, including Criterion. Couple that with how diverse their releases are, beginning from the silent era up to modern movies, and spanning every genre from silly sex comedies to classic hard hitting dramas, and having the most compelling sale prices of any label; they're almost a model label for others to emulate, not saying they're perfect, mind you.
Dude 90% of the sale titles suck lol how is this the best sale of the year lmao
Prices.
You not knowing these movies doesn’t mean they suck. It just means you dont care to buy them.
