I'm finally getting around to listening to these after burning through a plethora of fictional theater acts for the mind. I'm so inspired to write listening to this.
Welcome To Night Vale's other podcasts "Welcome To Night Vale" and "Alice Isn't Dead" are both great. They have the same mysterious vibe as Within the Wires.

The comment that the Institute just wants to study our listener, they don't even want to bother teaching them to realign with society or whatever is happens to other patients is so creepy. Just what do they plan on doing to our listener once their study is over?
So my questions are as followed: Is the narrator a captive with us where ever we are held, an "employee" of the facility, or an unknown disembodied voice in our heads? Why do we need to escape? WHAT IS THE GOD DAMNED OBSESSION WITH FORCING ME TO MANUALLY BREATH?
Tombes Gaming she was employed by the institute after going to a college to study the arts! Also didn’t the council in WTNV vote that all citizens had to learn how to breathe manually!
I'm thinking maybe she had a crush on us when we were a kid then was forced to forget us so when she remembers she has the intensity of a crush on us plus adult knowledge and emotions
It's upsetting that this podcast doesn't as much attention as alice isn't dead. This one's just as good
I think I have to stop listening to these when I'm tired. Three times now this soothing voice has eased me to sleep.
