Turing 30 was hard for me as well, until I realized I was still very young and had a long way to go. I'm 50 now, and I look back at my 30s, and they were probably the best times in my life. That's funny, it is hard to turn thirty, someone gave me a mug that said "turning thirty takes at least 5 or 6 years to admit it." That cup was true, for me that was 37 years ago. My mind still thinks I am young. I'm still healthy. Things that interest you at thirty are not the things that interest you at 67. Having a kind and honest partner is the most beautiful thing.

Probably because of the life he lives. He stepped out of his comfort zone and has to adapt to challenging circumstances all the time to keep going. Granted, everyone faces challenges, but I assume his are of a different kind. I like his vibe and character. He comes across as a good dude.

I was born in Wisconsin lived there for 24 years. Lived near Asheville for two years and people really underestimate just how cold it can get in North Carolina. There were winters it felt just like Wisconsin. Freezing. Bone chilling even! Now I live in Florida. No cold. Which is so sad

Enjoyed this so much. My sister worked a fire tower a couple of summers while she was in nursing school. She absolutely loved it. But she said the woods was a different place at night. Lots of fire tower stories and legends.

Your content is like having a glimpse at heaven. You seem to be such a good person with a kind soul. You're very pg-13 in the best way possible. My life has been so chaotic, and i've been around bad and violent stuff, i went to war and everything.. And sometimes while watching your content, i find myself crying, just because of the innocence that you have in your eyes. It's hard to explain the feeling, but i feel so good watching your videos and escaping reality. I know all of that sounds weird, but it happens with my wife as well, sometimes she gets lost into her childish innocent mind and smiles while she does stuff or when she talks about things, and i start bawling because i'm so glad that people have that happiness inside them, and i wish i had that. But watching your videos is like a break from all this crazy bad world, i can't explain it in any other way other than "heaven".

Hi Trent. When I was a teen, I used to think that when I turned 30 I would have accomplished at least a few life goals. Now being 35, I’ve only accomplished two on my list. But covid stole at least 3 years of all our lives and kind of screwed with plans and dreams. So live your life as it comes because time doesnt care. In the immortal words of Sir Sia, “Just DO IT!”
Changing the subject 😅 Dont forget that you can use a wood-burning stove as just that - a stove. Granted the one in the tree house is on the smaller side, but you might be able to fit a tea kettle on there.

You can get the plastic milk crate at any supermarket, if you can't get it for free, maybe you can just buy one from them (ask the store manager if you're interested. Hope the suggestion helps.

happy belated 30th birthday i am turning 31 upcoming 24th of march and let me tell you that from personal experience the mental shift of feeling young and old can change depending on how you feel.. one day or most days you feel like you're in your 90s but most or some days you feel like you never went past 18 years old and that is going to stick like glue for the rest of your adult life
