I just found your channel by searching for reviews on the Neewer MK900 i-TTL flash. Nice videos, by the way. I also wanted to ask how the MK-900 (the branded model you have anyway) is working after these past few months?
Ron Childress Hye Ron, unfortunately the MK900's AF assist (the red beams that emit from the flash to help the camera find focus) stopped working. I did some research on this, and many people were having the same problem. I instead bought the Yongnuo 568EX. I find the yongnuo pretty much the same as the Meike, but more reliable. Another advantage is that it does not eat batteries like the MK900
some cameras come with a sync connector in the front of the camera. The front-sync connector can be connected to a hot-shoe adapter. I do not think you will have control over ITTL or HSS at that point though.
Great video, Shawn! You helped a lot! The manual is printed in tiny print.
Using the cable also allows you to trigger the camera with a 622N.
No sound.. hear your intro music, but no audio for the main video.
not sure why it doesn't work, but hey you are the audio buff!
this is the only video i could find on what i wanted to no thank you

Thanks for the reply! I actually have two of the 568EX models, so far so good. I mainly use them off camera.
Ron Childress 568EX are the bees knees, nothing compares as of yet.
what if you have a camera that does not have a hot shoe connector, is there away to connect an external hot shoe so you can use an external flash
