I really like both of the Blood Swamps Combat songs but I thought they weren't really mixed to be songs. Rather, pieces that were loosely put together to showcase the different parts of music that would be stitched together in the game. So I decided to make a remix of my own version of the song. It includes both the light and heavy combat music, demonic chanting, and more than one instance of the chorus.

As much as I like the originals I felt like it didn't utilize the chanting and chorus enough but this really slaps!

Hushult's music missed the audio representation of doom slayer's fight dominance against cyber enhanced demon hordes, through horrific 'whistles', techno synth waves, and chainsaw/bass/drum combos prominent among the favorites 'The only thing they fear is you', 'Cultist base', 'Meathook', and others.

All that may be true. But I've never had more fun ripping and tearing as I have to this song. Not since BFG Division. This is my favourite. Also, it sounds "swampy." Nailed it IMO.

I do hear electronic wailing and synthy basslines...more prominently at the beginning of this mix admittedly. The Blood Swamps definitely lean more into pure guitar metal, but so does Nekravol and the Super Gore Nest. So does Rip & Tear in 2016. This isn't the Doom Hunter Base after all, haha. UAC Atlantica has more of what you're looking for probably.
For some reason it feels fitting for the soundtrack to lean into raw metal when you're in the deepest most Hellish of zones. Probably a callback to classic Doom.

yes, it the audio representation of doom slayer's fight dominance is not there anymore, whats left is the representation of hordes of demons swarming the slayer in the blood swamp and Slayer struggles to keep up like never before but still manage to drag himself through the slugfest knee deep in the swamp. Not only the music fits the environment and storytelling nicely, but also the gameplay because blood swamp is a huge difficulty spike compared to other levels in base campaign and UAC antlantica.
