Ye. I have over 1.3k hours in ultimate and I honestly started hating the game a few months ago so I just stopped for the last 2 months. I'm playing a lot less now. I don't hate it but I don't love it either. It's a decently fun game but every other smash game was able to keep me enjoying the game constantly. After having 4000 hours in smash 4 I still loved the game. Idk why Its not the same with ultimate but eh

Zero, I have watched many people that posted daily uploads and when they just stopped posting daily, they became much more fun to watch. If you are being pressured by daily uploads, just don't do them. Like you said, being pressured is what kills a hobby.
But this is also how he brings in money. It’s his choice to work this much. Yes he wants to bring out good content and not fall off as a TH-camr but you must remember this is his income so if he wants to work this hard then that’s him . Realize he is not just doing it for you.

Great advice, I'm 10 and I've always been wondering if I should do speed or not. I have a lot of trouble with stage fright and recently speed has really helped me with that, but my speed dealer was caught and sentenced to 15 years in prison so now im fucked. gg

Referring to the coffee “hot take,” just a word of advice from something I learned a few years ago. Overnight we still consume energy, albeit not as much during the day, and people can often become dehydrated overnight. This can lead to feeling groggy and having little energy. As a rule of thumb always try and have a glass of water before bed! Additionally, if you sometimes have a cup of coffee to kickstart your day maybe substitute it was a glass of water right as you wake up to see if you benefit from it. I almost never drink coffee now as a necessity because of this, so I hope it helps someone else!
Some people obviously like coffee for the taste, but the people that use it to wake up or get energised actually shouldn't drink it. It's because they're so addicted to caffeine that their body has less energy. I believe I read somewhere that caffeine is number 1 in addiction lists. It's not SEEN as an addictive drug, but the effects on the body ARE keeping you hooked on that daily dose. Water >>> coffee
I can never drink water after waking up because of the morning aftertaste. A small cup of juice will do you more justice just to cleanse your pallet and then you can drink water either during a meal or an hour or 2 after you wake up
I don't drink coffee at all. You'll probably feel withdrawals/not feel that great at first, but I think you'll find not artifically stimulating your body upon waking up every day is healthier in the long run. IMO it's okay to feel a little groggy in the morning as long as it's not because of bad sleeping habits. Might take some planning, but if you give yourself more time in the mornings, it does wear off on its own. The few times I've had caffeine in the morning (e.g. Mtn Dew) and been artificially woken up, it's felt far worse to me than just waiting it out.

Idea for a format: Talk about funny Stories about things that happened to you in tournaments/sets, or who was the first top level player you defeated and how it felt or how your training routines in smash were a few years ago or how you found your mains in the different smash games or something like that. We love hearing your stories and it is always entertaining :)

This happened to me with reading books and I don’t wanna completely kill school but having to read for homework makes me associate reading with work now and it sucks. I’m not dissing schools are anything though cause it does open you up to new passions.
I don't think that's entirely it, although part of it. I think school does a combination of applying too much pressure and expecting kids to spend their days dedicated to schoolwork with no entertainment in order to learn and do well in classes, giving a lot of kids reasons to just stop caring about their classes and the topics they teach. Sure, some teachers are exceptions, definitely, but there's quite a lot that aren't. I like the concept behind schools, and it opens up a lot of doors, but I feel like they need a rework. Especially with how much you have to learn that won't be necessary or interesting for everybody that's a required class for whatever reason instead of electives, while not having classes that teach you basic life skills like how to do your taxes and such. Why should I be required to take a 12th year of writing essays and poetry and reading books for english classes if I have no interest in any career down that path? I know from 11 years of those classes that they don't interest me (although I read like crazy before school, and stopped by the time i went through a few years of school because it became a chore, work, rather than entertainment...), so why would I need to know these things? Honestly, one of the worst things about school as well is that they always push college. You should go to college! You have to go to college to get a good paying career! College is the right path for anyone! But they never teach you anything about apprenticeships or non-college careers. They push college to the point of complete ignorance about other options, forcing you to do independent research to learn anything about anything except college, when college costs thousands of dollars and can often put people into debt and is not the right path for everyone, even though it is a very good option for a lot. And honestly, I feel like half of my passions and interests were killed by school turning them into work that I was expected to do and expected to perform well in, instead of something interesting and fun to learn about with expectations of me having learned and improved. Sure, I still did very well in the vast majority of my classes (Cs were rare for me, almost always got As and a few Bs, with very limited studying and none for many classes), but I slowly became more bored and uninterested with school and everything in it as the years went on. By my senior year, literally earlier this year, I just wanted it to be over so I could start my life. Looks like I still have to wait thanks to Corona though, but at least I don't have to deal with school.
Hey bro I think I speak for all of us when I say don’t stress yourself out with daily uploads, we want you to enjoy TH-cam and put on content you are happy with. Personally I would much rather upload 3 or 4 videos a week instead of just throwing out content everyday, which I don’t think your doing I’m just saying once you stop enjoying putting out content, the quality of the content highly drops

I think you do a very good job of justifying why you believe the things you do and you do it with no hostility whatsoever. I would love to see more of these and I do enjoy the occasional non smash-related post.
Hi ZeRo. If you ever struggle to find an idea of video : just play smash. Explain what you do, or don't, just have fun with the game. That's the best content you can do because you're good at it. I personnally enjoy Nairo's content a lot because of that.
I think all of his content is amazing, and I don't know if he has a "best content" imo, but I definitely agree with that. If he has no ideas, just play some smash online or something, however he wants to do it. I am open to him branching out, don't get me wrong, but I think that's a good fallback.
In my opinion it depends how strong is your motivation. If you are passionate about games then you can make it no matter how hard it will be. But if your motivation is low or limited then you'll think your wasting time.
That's a very normal amount of pressure. Your passion was less than you thought it was, which I think is true for most people who want to get into game design just because they like video games

Funnily enough, I started studying game design and modding games, and I had a lot of passion for it with modding Civ5 a bit (all of those mods are not on the steam workshop), but when I started looking into actually making games I realized that there's a good portion of programming and such that doesn't appeal to me. It's like, I don't like building the structure of the game, but I enjoy modifying that structure, and I like talking about / thinking about different ways to make games more balanced or add new interesting things to them. I'd probably be good at balancing or adding new things to games if I knew how to program, but I lost the passion to learn it when I realized I don't really care for making said games from the ground up.

yeah that's what i found odd too. Forgetting very specific mechanics in a game is normal but literally forgetting what button you, supposedly, mashed to clear the whole game is kinda weird.
For the first take, I think there’s a difference between physical sports, and mental sports. E-Sports are mental and require concentration and higher levels of thinking. Take Chess for example, if you have ever watched Chess, there aren’t hecklers or a crowd constantly jeering. Tennis is the same way, it requires a lot of concentration and higher thinking while still being physically exhausting. Golf is another sport where it requires a high amount of concentration and thinking. To be good at E-Sports, it requires a high level of thinking and focus. I’m not saying that the players should play in a separate room, but they should be offered noise cancelling headphones because spectating an E-Sport is unique compared to other mental sports.
I concur. Only fighting games keep the audience so close. SC2 has booths for the players to keep them fully isolated. The team games (LOL DOTA, OW) usually play with a significant distance and headphones

I feel that banjo one so hard tbh, I love the games so much and was so hyped when he got announced. I was so prepared to main him, he was actually the first character I sat down and started labbing combos the minute he came out, practicing down b setups and drag down timing, but after a couple of weeks, his gameplay really started to feel stale, which sucks because I still am so happy he’s in the game

Actually the thing with the coffee, the more you drink the more you become dependent on it. Caffeine is quite literally a drug and the reason you are so low energy without it is the dependency you've gotten from it.

The problem with the whole "smash is better for casual play argument" is that mechanics such as buffering and parrying don't lend themselves to casual play at all. I feel like Sakurai tried to please both sides and failed both of them

The guy who talked about kingdom hearts there, altough i mostly agree with the take on the story, probably didn't play any of the games, considering he mentioned mashing "square". Not remembering specific story related or gameplay related things is normal but literally forgetting what button does the hit thingy is weird.
@@sonicvsshadowfanboy I played KH3 on the highest difficulty the day it came out. I literally mashed one button and never died a single time. It was an absolute joke. I tried not to even use the rides because that made it even easier.
The story for KH3 was beyond garbage. The fact that you were required to have played every single one of the trash kingdom hearts games that came out for every non major console was what completely disengaged me from the game from the story. The action was fine but the story feeling completely impossible to follow left me with the most sour taste in my mouth.
Cero_Nihil kh3 is the easiest of the mainline games even on proud mode I was highkey disappointed by how easy it was a month or so later after kh3 came out they added critical mode which is way harder than proud mode and I actually died a good times
Dr. Kuhn I put a good amount of my friends on to kingdom hearts with the all of one collection and none of them had any problems following the story So how was the story “impossible for you to follow”?
In terms of competitive play, I LOVE entering tournaments. I will say that I'm probably a mid level player who struggles a ton with specifically online play. So I'm never doing the best, however the best part of taking things more seriously is to find that group, find those friends, make improvements and strive to be the best I can be. Once you find your small community to help each other grow, Smash has never been more fun for me. I've easily put 800 hours into Smash Ultimate and I'm ready for 800 more.
Honestly, as an audience member, I came to you post-smash success, and only ever knew you for your TH-cam channel! I’m here because you’re hilarious, tough, and smart as hell, and I haven’t seen a youtuber that just spits truth like that! Idk, just to say all that work is really paying off for you, and I think as things cool off, you’ll find loads of success as a content creator :)
Competitve smash is absolutely trash especially the tryhards i get it brings challenge but its too much stress trying to keep up with your opponent i actually fainted once because of it, after i stopped playing against such competitive people i was more happy with smash
Being a TH-camr is actually really hard. You dont see the hours and hours of work that go into each video. After becoming one myself I have much more respect for TH-cam Videos in general and always remember to leave a like when I take the time to watch something. Example, each of my videos take between 4 and 8 hours between arranging, studio recording, video recording, and editing. So 8 hour of work put into a video for the viewer to watch it for 1-5 minutes. I love getting comments because that is some sort of feedback for all the work my team of 2 puts in for our release calendar.
I would like to say, I personally love your upload schedule, always having good content, each and everyday is some nice consistency considering the quarantine
The Kingdom Hearts hot take was interesting, especially hearing your thoughts on it. The game is a lot more technical than just mashing X, I do agree. (Still can't beat Lingering Will and the data fights in 2.) I would like to see more Kingdom Hearts related stuff covered on your channel in the future if you ever wish to do so. :) All in all, good video.
I think it would be nice to add another consistent personality to this channel, whether that's her, one of the editors, or sometime else. Of course it would be up to zero and whomever else but it would add some nice variety to the channel. (I loved the rivals video with the editors- that was some top tier content)

Zero I agree with what another comment said, I would watch any content you make simply for your talks and personality. The videos are edited really well, and you always go extremely in depth with anything you say, which leads to a very interesting video that is nice to watch/ listen to.
Since you said you wanted to take time to make a second account, I would love to see you play other games. Maybe BoTW, or Hollow Knight. I would totally watch that.
4:00 sadly you're right, the youtube algorythm prioritize quantity over quality, chanels few with well edited videos from time to time are less recomended then the chanels with 1 video per day.
I dunno about that. The algorithm doesn't seem to have any troubles recommending me videos for people that don't upload every day within an hour or so of them uploading.
Zero : Crowd is so disturbing, remember when Mk2 lost. Also Zero : yeah crowd is normal, because you have it in all sport. Well I disagree with the *Also Zero*, esport and sport are not in the core the same. Video game, smash in particular are frame perfect, being precise with your fingers require a lot of concentration. You dont see a classic pianist playing the hardest sheet of Chopin in a concert with a noisy crowd. And in also single sport like tennis, the crowd need to be quiet. I think that a more good answer for smash is that the crowd can cheer for their favorite player but at the time be respectfull regardless the opponent.
Will Kershisnik I disagree, there has been multiple examples of game competitions where they were provided headphones and distance from the crowd so they don’t disturb the competition. The crowd that close can be audible to the player. If a person says something very personal about your life in the crowd it would be pretty hard to ignore or at least get a bit distracted. Ignoring and focusing takes energy, and if the crowd is almost always throwing it off, it takes more energy to get back into focus. A little more distance away would be safer and more enjoyable for the competitors. Hell crowds threw objects at competitors before, keep the crowd a further distance and then give the players headphones. The distance plus the sound keeps everything out. Prepping can only go so far, you can’t prepare fully for crowds, everyone is different, someone might say something that ticks you more, people might join in a gang up against ya. People act different you can’t prepare for viewers who don’t have a sense of boundary In sports like football basketball and baseball. There are 2 clear sides, your teams crowd and the other team’s crowd. In football there are just way to many people to distinguish what they are saying unless you TRY to listen or are really close. Half the time you can’t even make out who is cheering unless it’s a chant. It’s all mixed in so they aren’t affected much by what is being said in the crowd. And at smash bro tournaments. The crowd is close enough to distinguish different sentences or insults, or even worse multiple people say the same thing to try to make and make a player lose their focus. It’s not like they are only cheering. The attack the players sometimes as well, and some knows where it’ll hurt if they know what goes on in their life either by rumor or social media. In basketball, it is easier to know who has more fans in the stadium. But again there are too many people to distinguish what they are saying unless you are close, and even if you catch a few words if you are say guarding a person. The sound of feet on the floor, the basketball, the wind rushing past your ears as you run. All of that is keeping out the fans talking shit, “getting in the zone”. That is a skill, it can be learned but hard to master, much more so for competitive gamers. Because in irl competitions they aren’t moving physically like those players in those sports I just mentioned, the fans aren’t as close to the players as them. The only sounds that will drown out the crowd are the sounds of the fingers hitting the controller if they don’t have headphones. Which is easy to buy, so headphones admittedly would be the only way that a player can “prep”. It’s not like baseball when the players are more focused on the coach, the game, and call outs than the fans. Baseball players specifically practice on watching the game and making decisions based on instinct not much thought. You think too long and you waste a moment that could’ve been crucial to the game. So the focus baseball players have drown out all the fans, the noise is just accustomed to at some point. Another thing is the Fans are quieter during pitching, but once the ball is hit they go wild. Fans know the appropriate time to cheer even if it wasn’t intentional. I tend to watch the pitcher in silence until the ball is hit wanting to focus on seeing when the ball was struck. Case and point is the fans ARE too close, moving them back a bit alone would help physical problems from occurring and level down the toxic comments from viewers affecting the players. Giving a player a bit less noise no matter who it is, it’s a form of respect in a competitive game environment. That’s my thoughts on it anyways. I’m not saying a lot of smash viewers are like this, but I am still saying it is a problem that should be improved upon so it could end up being a better environment for both the viewers and competitors. My mindset on the videogame tournaments Trash talk is fine, it’s happens a lot and at times even is just for the fun or spirit of a game But attacking a persons problems in life audibly to increase the chances of your idol winning because you have the opportunity to do so at such a close distance . Then it’s bad

yeah I agree with you here. I mean , that first one is not a hot take. It's something that should have been done already for smash tournament . Most e-sport have already done that , CSGO , DOTA2 , LoL , Overwatch player in sound prove cubical separate from each other , far away , separating from the audience , with one staff inside to check on the player and report on technical difficulty or other problem that might occur. Every real sport have fence to separate the audience from the playing field , from keeping them interfering with the match , keep them as faraway as possible so the noise won't interfere when teammates trying to communicate with each other. and some like Golf and Tennis have etiquette where audiences only applause or cheer after point score. Boxing , K1 , MMA or even wrestle . fighter is in the ring and there are like fences 2-3 meter away from the ring to separate the crowd from even near the ring . Hockey have thick plastic wall to protect the crowd from stray puck and to reduce the crowd noise that might interfere with team communication . Basketball stadium have seat close to the court for press , player and staff members and 5-10 meter after that is a fence to separate the crowd from the court Most other sport/e-sport have clear regulation for the crowd. This problem is something that should have been discuss more in the community , find a real way to solve it , not by saying it is what it is deal with it.

Even though there will always be way worse games, what you mentioned about Pokémon is the exact same issue I have with it nowadays. What I meant with "Pokémon is a bad game" was mainly in comparison to other RPGs (or even Nintendo games that aren't from that genre) (I'm 22 and I've been a fan of the series since I was 5)

The reason that you require caffeine to get through the day is because your body has become dependent on caffeine. If you drop it for long enough, you'll be able to get that energy from other more healthy sources than caffeine.

This is a super cool idea and I did enjoy hearing about non smash related hot takes but being a smash oriented TH-camr you are almost expected to make smash content. If you are trying to expand your TH-cam to more than just smash content then this is a great series but I feel like you should be careful diversifying too much!! Much love keep up the good work Zero
as someone who’s been maining banjo since his release, i believe he’s one of the most underrated characters in ultimate. although his defensive options are typically more optimal, he does have a decent number of aggressive options, setups, and combos. i use his projectiles for comboing and covering options rather than zoning and i’ve learned from experience that he can still be used as a more aggressive combo character, even if his moves are a bit inconsistent.
Honestly, a main reason of why I like waking up at decent times, since LORD knows that some days I dont want to wake up, is because I love watching Zero's videos in the morning. I saw the hot take of having Zero do 3 days a week vids and my reaction was so bad towards it because I love his content. If he does decide to do less vids a week Id be ok with it and I would still love his vids, but im so happy that he does daily uploads and hope he keeps it like that for a while. So this is how it ends... no more videos because of what he has done in the past. I never thought I would ever see a youtuber end like this. I was subbed for a good bit and learned a bit to, but it is sad to see this channel go. It sucks that he wont be making more videos, but I guess that is for the best since it would probably do more harm then good, especially if he made one of those over done apology videos. Soon even this comment section will be gone, which is for the best, I guess. It is good that he had gotten caught, I just wish he didn't have to stop making videos because of it. At least he seems sorry for what he did, but that doesn't mean that it justifies what he did in the past. Zero, if things get too stressed and stuff gets too difficult, it is okay to take a break or change up your schedule. I like seeing your uploads daily, But I'd also enjoy it if it wasn't so hard on you. Hard work takes dedication and I really respect that... Zero if your looking for content I love seeing you get involved with other "top players" from different games. I think its a more relaxing tone but also insightful to see the depth other pull out from various games. Keep up the hard work. I can say for a fact that streaming is def hard work. When I got fired from my job I tried to stream very hard for like 2 months . I had charts, merch, would check the best time to stream my favourite games, did editing etc... And it is very hard work to do it constantly meet goals. Etc. Hopeful covid calms down so you can do some of your other ideas and take some pressure off your self. Stay health and happy.

Zero, I have watched many people that posted daily uploads and when they just stopped posting daily, they became much more fun to watch. If you are being pressured by daily uploads, just don't do them. Like you said, being pressured is what kills a hobby.

Referring to the coffee “hot take,” just a word of advice from something I learned a few years ago. Overnight we still consume energy, albeit not as much during the day, and people can often become dehydrated overnight. This can lead to feeling groggy and having little energy. As a rule of thumb always try and have a glass of water before bed! Additionally, if you sometimes have a cup of coffee to kickstart your day maybe substitute it was a glass of water right as you wake up to see if you benefit from it. I almost never drink coffee now as a necessity because of this, so I hope it helps someone else!
After you hit a certain age, drinking water too close to bedtime is a surefire way to later wake up in the middle of the night to go pee.

I can never drink water after waking up because of the morning aftertaste. A small cup of juice will do you more justice just to cleanse your pallet and then you can drink water either during a meal or an hour or 2 after you wake up
I don't drink coffee at all. You'll probably feel withdrawals/not feel that great at first, but I think you'll find not artifically stimulating your body upon waking up every day is healthier in the long run. IMO it's okay to feel a little groggy in the morning as long as it's not because of bad sleeping habits. Might take some planning, but if you give yourself more time in the mornings, it does wear off on its own. The few times I've had caffeine in the morning (e.g. Mtn Dew) and been artificially woken up, it's felt far worse to me than just waiting it out.

This happened to me with reading books and I don’t wanna completely kill school but having to read for homework makes me associate reading with work now and it sucks. I’m not dissing schools are anything though cause it does open you up to new passions.
I don't think that's entirely it, although part of it.
I think school does a combination of applying too much pressure and expecting kids to spend their days dedicated to schoolwork with no entertainment in order to learn and do well in classes, giving a lot of kids reasons to just stop caring about their classes and the topics they teach. Sure, some teachers are exceptions, definitely, but there's quite a lot that aren't. I like the concept behind schools, and it opens up a lot of doors, but I feel like they need a rework. Especially with how much you have to learn that won't be necessary or interesting for everybody that's a required class for whatever reason instead of electives, while not having classes that teach you basic life skills like how to do your taxes and such. Why should I be required to take a 12th year of writing essays and poetry and reading books for english classes if I have no interest in any career down that path? I know from 11 years of those classes that they don't interest me (although I read like crazy before school, and stopped by the time i went through a few years of school because it became a chore, work, rather than entertainment...), so why would I need to know these things? Honestly, one of the worst things about school as well is that they always push college. You should go to college! You have to go to college to get a good paying career! College is the right path for anyone! But they never teach you anything about apprenticeships or non-college careers. They push college to the point of complete ignorance about other options, forcing you to do independent research to learn anything about anything except college, when college costs thousands of dollars and can often put people into debt and is not the right path for everyone, even though it is a very good option for a lot.
And honestly, I feel like half of my passions and interests were killed by school turning them into work that I was expected to do and expected to perform well in, instead of something interesting and fun to learn about with expectations of me having learned and improved. Sure, I still did very well in the vast majority of my classes (Cs were rare for me, almost always got As and a few Bs, with very limited studying and none for many classes), but I slowly became more bored and uninterested with school and everything in it as the years went on. By my senior year, literally earlier this year, I just wanted it to be over so I could start my life.
Looks like I still have to wait thanks to Corona though, but at least I don't have to deal with school.

In my opinion it depends how strong is your motivation. If you are passionate about games then you can make it no matter how hard it will be. But if your motivation is low or limited then you'll think your wasting time.
That's a very normal amount of pressure. Your passion was less than you thought it was, which I think is true for most people who want to get into game design just because they like video games

Funnily enough, I started studying game design and modding games, and I had a lot of passion for it with modding Civ5 a bit (all of those mods are not on the steam workshop), but when I started looking into actually making games I realized that there's a good portion of programming and such that doesn't appeal to me.
It's like, I don't like building the structure of the game, but I enjoy modifying that structure, and I like talking about / thinking about different ways to make games more balanced or add new interesting things to them. I'd probably be good at balancing or adding new things to games if I knew how to program, but I lost the passion to learn it when I realized I don't really care for making said games from the ground up.

yeah that's what i found odd too. Forgetting very specific mechanics in a game is normal but literally forgetting what button you, supposedly, mashed to clear the whole game is kinda weird.
Plus with the Kingdom Hearts games, playing it on a harder difficulty, the game is more fun and button mashing will get you killed.
For the first take, I think there’s a difference between physical sports, and mental sports. E-Sports are mental and require concentration and higher levels of thinking. Take Chess for example, if you have ever watched Chess, there aren’t hecklers or a crowd constantly jeering. Tennis is the same way, it requires a lot of concentration and higher thinking while still being physically exhausting. Golf is another sport where it requires a high amount of concentration and thinking.
To be good at E-Sports, it requires a high level of thinking and focus. I’m not saying that the players should play in a separate room, but they should be offered noise cancelling headphones because spectating an E-Sport is unique compared to other mental sports.

I feel that banjo one so hard tbh, I love the games so much and was so hyped when he got announced. I was so prepared to main him, he was actually the first character I sat down and started labbing combos the minute he came out, practicing down b setups and drag down timing, but after a couple of weeks, his gameplay really started to feel stale, which sucks because I still am so happy he’s in the game

@@sonicvsshadowfanboy I played KH3 on the highest difficulty the day it came out. I literally mashed one button and never died a single time. It was an absolute joke. I tried not to even use the rides because that made it even easier.
The story for KH3 was beyond garbage. The fact that you were required to have played every single one of the trash kingdom hearts games that came out for every non major console was what completely disengaged me from the game from the story. The action was fine but the story feeling completely impossible to follow left me with the most sour taste in my mouth.
Cero_Nihil kh3 is the easiest of the mainline games even on proud mode I was highkey disappointed by how easy it was
a month or so later after kh3 came out they added critical mode which is way harder than proud mode and I actually died a good times

In terms of competitive play, I LOVE entering tournaments.
I will say that I'm probably a mid level player who struggles a ton with specifically online play. So I'm never doing the best, however the best part of taking things more seriously is to find that group, find those friends, make improvements and strive to be the best I can be.
Once you find your small community to help each other grow, Smash has never been more fun for me.
I've easily put 800 hours into Smash Ultimate and I'm ready for 800 more.

Being a TH-camr is actually really hard. You dont see the hours and hours of work that go into each video. After becoming one myself I have much more respect for TH-cam Videos in general and always remember to leave a like when I take the time to watch something. Example, each of my videos take between 4 and 8 hours between arranging, studio recording, video recording, and editing. So 8 hour of work put into a video for the viewer to watch it for 1-5 minutes. I love getting comments because that is some sort of feedback for all the work my team of 2 puts in for our release calendar.

Well I disagree with the *Also Zero*, esport and sport are not in the core the same. Video game, smash in particular are frame perfect, being precise with your fingers require a lot of concentration. You dont see a classic pianist playing the hardest sheet of Chopin in a concert with a noisy crowd. And in also single sport like tennis, the crowd need to be quiet.
I think that a more good answer for smash is that the crowd can cheer for their favorite player but at the time be respectfull regardless the opponent.
If you’re going to an irl tourney you should be prepped for a crowd, if you’re not that on you
Will Kershisnik I disagree, there has been multiple examples of game competitions where they were provided headphones and distance from the crowd so they don’t disturb the competition.
The crowd that close can be audible to the player. If a person says something very personal about your life in the crowd it would be pretty hard to ignore or at least get a bit distracted. Ignoring and focusing takes energy, and if the crowd is almost always throwing it off, it takes more energy to get back into focus. A little more distance away would be safer and more enjoyable for the competitors. Hell crowds threw objects at competitors before, keep the crowd a further distance and then give the players headphones. The distance plus the sound keeps everything out. Prepping can only go so far, you can’t prepare fully for crowds, everyone is different, someone might say something that ticks you more, people might join in a gang up against ya. People act different you can’t prepare for viewers who don’t have a sense of boundary
In sports like football basketball and baseball. There are 2 clear sides, your teams crowd and the other team’s crowd. In football there are just way to many people to distinguish what they are saying unless you TRY to listen or are really close. Half the time you can’t even make out who is cheering unless it’s a chant. It’s all mixed in so they aren’t affected much by what is being said in the crowd. And at smash bro tournaments. The crowd is close enough to distinguish different sentences or insults, or even worse multiple people say the same thing to try to make and make a player lose their focus. It’s not like they are only cheering. The attack the players sometimes as well, and some knows where it’ll hurt if they know what goes on in their life either by rumor or social media. In basketball, it is easier to know who has more fans in the stadium. But again there are too many people to distinguish what they are saying unless you are close, and even if you catch a few words if you are say guarding a person. The sound of feet on the floor, the basketball, the wind rushing past your ears as you run. All of that is keeping out the fans talking shit, “getting in the zone”. That is a skill, it can be learned but hard to master, much more so for competitive gamers. Because in irl competitions they aren’t moving physically like those players in those sports I just mentioned, the fans aren’t as close to the players as them. The only sounds that will drown out the crowd are the sounds of the fingers hitting the controller if they don’t have headphones. Which is easy to buy, so headphones admittedly would be the only way that a player can “prep”. It’s not like baseball when the players are more focused on the coach, the game, and call outs than the fans. Baseball players specifically practice on watching the game and making decisions based on instinct not much thought. You think too long and you waste a moment that could’ve been crucial to the game. So the focus baseball players have drown out all the fans, the noise is just accustomed to at some point. Another thing is the Fans are quieter during pitching, but once the ball is hit they go wild. Fans know the appropriate time to cheer even if it wasn’t intentional. I tend to watch the pitcher in silence until the ball is hit wanting to focus on seeing when the ball was struck.
Case and point is the fans ARE too close, moving them back a bit alone would help physical problems from occurring and level down the toxic comments from viewers affecting the players. Giving a player a bit less noise no matter who it is, it’s a form of respect in a competitive game environment. That’s my thoughts on it anyways.
I’m not saying a lot of smash viewers are like this, but I am still saying it is a problem that should be improved upon so it could end up being a better environment for both the viewers and competitors.
My mindset on the videogame tournaments
Trash talk is fine, it’s happens a lot and at times even is just for the fun or spirit of a game
But attacking a persons problems in life audibly to increase the chances of your idol winning because you have the opportunity to do so at such a close distance . Then it’s bad

Most e-sport have already done that , CSGO , DOTA2 , LoL , Overwatch
player in sound prove cubical separate from each other ,
far away , separating from the audience ,
with one staff inside to check on the player and report on technical difficulty or other problem that might occur.
Every real sport have fence to separate the audience from the playing field ,
from keeping them interfering with the match , keep them as faraway as possible
so the noise won't interfere when teammates trying to communicate with each other.
and some like Golf and Tennis have etiquette where audiences only applause or cheer after point score.
Boxing , K1 , MMA or even wrestle . fighter is in the ring and there are like fences 2-3 meter away from the ring to separate the crowd from even near the ring .
Hockey have thick plastic wall to protect the crowd from stray puck and to reduce the crowd noise that might interfere with team communication .
Basketball stadium have seat close to the court for press , player and staff members and 5-10 meter after that is a fence to separate the crowd from the court
Most other sport/e-sport have clear regulation for the crowd.
This problem is something that should have been discuss more in the community , find a real way to solve it , not by saying it is what it is deal with it.

What I meant with "Pokémon is a bad game" was mainly in comparison to other RPGs (or even Nintendo games that aren't from that genre)

as someone who’s been maining banjo since his release, i believe he’s one of the most underrated characters in ultimate. although his defensive options are typically more optimal, he does have a decent number of aggressive options, setups, and combos. i use his projectiles for comboing and covering options rather than zoning and i’ve learned from experience that he can still be used as a more aggressive combo character, even if his moves are a bit inconsistent.

Honestly, a main reason of why I like waking up at decent times, since LORD knows that some days I dont want to wake up, is because I love watching Zero's videos in the morning. I saw the hot take of having Zero do 3 days a week vids and my reaction was so bad towards it because I love his content. If he does decide to do less vids a week Id be ok with it and I would still love his vids, but im so happy that he does daily uploads and hope he keeps it like that for a while. So this is how it ends... no more videos because of what he has done in the past. I never thought I would ever see a youtuber end like this. I was subbed for a good bit and learned a bit to, but it is sad to see this channel go. It sucks that he wont be making more videos, but I guess that is for the best since it would probably do more harm then good, especially if he made one of those over done apology videos. Soon even this comment section will be gone, which is for the best, I guess. It is good that he had gotten caught, I just wish he didn't have to stop making videos because of it. At least he seems sorry for what he did, but that doesn't mean that it justifies what he did in the past. Zero, if things get too stressed and stuff gets too difficult, it is okay to take a break or change up your schedule. I like seeing your uploads daily, But I'd also enjoy it if it wasn't so hard on you. Hard work takes dedication and I really respect that... But I think I can speak for most of us when I say if you gotta take a break or change it up, I guarantee you we'll still support you.
Zero if your looking for content I love seeing you get involved with other "top players" from different games. I think its a more relaxing tone but also insightful to see the depth other pull out from various games. Keep up the hard work. I can say for a fact that streaming is def hard work. When I got fired from my job I tried to stream very hard for like 2 months . I had charts, merch, would check the best time to stream my favourite games, did editing etc... And it is very hard work to do it constantly meet goals. Etc. Hopeful covid calms down so you can do some of your other ideas and take some pressure off your self. Stay health and happy.
