For the English speakers, most of the Russian comments are actually commending Dake on his technicality, strength, and actual looks lmao. A lot of them are shaming other Russian comments that say hes using steroids, but there are an equal amount saying that he does not use steroids and that the Russian has no shame in losing to such a well-rounded wreslter. @@Nonpeon They don't really have a fragile ego when it comes to complimenting other human beings, they say what they say. Likely by complimenting looks, they're speaking of his physique which is a indicator of hard work, especially since Dake doesn't even lift weights.
Russians, from my personal experience with them, have always been rather respectful and direct with what they need to say, no beating around the bush.

Strange, but I've NEVER heard a Russian complimenting fir example, Jordan Burrough's on his LOOKS, who has a better physique. I surmise it's the yellow-haired (called blonde) that has them marveling, the subtext being a 2,000 year propensity towards homosexuality as seen in the ancient Greeks.
Such a great match for Kyle. Besides the joy of getting to the finals I'm sure he really enjoyed avenging the previous loss to Gadzhimagome.

The move at the end of the match is the exact sequence that he threw Nolf with! Don’t go upper body with Dake. You’ll lose.
That sequence is pretty much the reason he lost in the 1/4s

After the headbutt, gotta know there was some extra "umph" for that, and you can see how long Dake was working for that big throw. He could've gone several other ways to get a 1 point pushout or dropped down, but he wanted big air and the chance to plant that dude for a second. Well done.
The other match with this guy and he looked like absolute shit. Wonder what happened to light the fire under his ass

difference between first match and second match is Dake's head position. When Dake keeps his head in there, in the way, Gadzhimagome gets frustrated and head butts him because he can't penetrate Dake's positioning. Excellent adjustment by Dake for second match. Sidakov's head position is awesome also so Dake vs Sidakov will be an interesting match up.
difference is legs, first match Dake stayed right against him on place, this match Dake turned on his footwork. Gadjimagomedov just hadnt place and time to properly start his game

Differences between this one and the first match imho. 1. Dake didn't look drained and was able to be more his lift and shift self. 2. He killed the under hook that stifled all of his offence in the first bout and did some of the draining.

In freestyle if you are 10 or more points ahead it's a tech fall.
In greco too but 8 points are enough instead of 10
