No they just finally brought back a weight class for a normal sized american man. The year before and during the olympics there is almost a 30 lb. jump between the weight class below and above him. It really needs to be fixed. You probably won't see him in the Olympics.

There are only a few shooters who are getting everyone spoiled (Taylor, etc) because they realize they like watching a match that's constant shooting better than a defensive match. Look back to the past, though - all of the dominant freestyle wrestlers slowed the match down and blocked shots.
That's why I'm not a big fan of freestyle. No one wants to take serious shots because it's to easy to just flip the shot maker over for points, so you end up with this, no offensive points, just push outs and mutual stalling. This isn't really a demonstration of wrestling skills at all.

I go to local tournaments and there are score trees, bought and paid for by non USA wrestling organizations because they have nothing else to spend money on!

@@somaliking4207 no worries, main difference between Greco and Freestyle is that in Greco you cannot use the legs. Cannot shoot on your opponents legs. This forces upper body use and throws. There are many other differences, but that's the main one. Both great styles, but Freestyle is what we learned in Jr. And Sr. Highschool in the U.S. so its more common.
