- If you remember earlier in the year, there was a drift competition offering a $3,000 cash prize to the winner. I jumped on that opportunity and made the most of it. King Of The Streets RC Drift Event & RC Drag Talk was a wonderful experience.

Tech 1 is a Filipino rc drift crew out of Vegas. They definitely 💯 don’t mess around. I’m glad you enjoyed the event.

Glad you were able to have an awesome trip man! The Vegas event looked crazy. You’re totally right about not taking it too serious and trying to have fun with it. I have fun with the comps but it’s a lot of pressure haha

Thanks man. Hopefully I’ll catch you at the track when I make a visit. Its not in the plans yet but I’ll let you know. I am also debating on entering the competition next year. We will see, because I’m tryna have fun!

I hope so too man, I'm hoping to be able to a little more travel too so who knows where well see each other. If you do enter it will be a ton of fun. It was cool being able to have a week kinda of dedicated to making the car right, then running the comp and having the next three weeks to just enjoy driving again. I wish they start doing drift races, like who can get to the finish line first without hitting walls, but at the same time still having to drift.
Who does that in real life? Would that be similar to the Aussie burn out races?
The D-like didnt look slow, it just pulled bigger angle and wider lines. Compared to the battle shown before your practice, it was only slower by a second. Your car just had way too much forward bite and not enough gearing to slow down. That comp looks fun as hell, shit I think I would want to run a plastic RDX with spool instead of thrashing my comp rig.
Lots of cars acted like his, the d-like was a significantly different car. My cars all gripped hard
It was indeed a wonderful surface for the D-Like. I love watching it dip and dive around the track. It was killing it and I definitely could not match up lol
I peep my car in the prototype clips. Met you at the King Of Streets, we parked and setup next to each other :) I had the Blue Golf R with the gold Tent.
