Just before UK Covid lockdown I sorted myself a Carver Proteus on CX. Then I saw this video, also referred back to it over & over for inspiration. Thank heavens for my board! The cars were chucked off the drive for two years and I spent a few half hour sessions every day trying to get some sort of flow. About 20lbs lighter, fitter and coordinated I’m enjoying pavement surfing in my mid fifties and far better surfing in the sea. Get yourself a surfskate, go practice, ignore feeling crap and suddenly you’ll be having fun.
