Hi, EE I am a Geotechnical engineering faculty. At 1:20,for gravel, i think u should represent it as larger void space instead of volume of voids. as volume of voids are more in clay. i think it is appropriate to use term of large void space instead of large volume of voids.
Very good lecture I think permeability is in directly proportional to hydraulic gradient.. So v = k/I And k= visc * ( 1- e)/ D * D * DENS * C * e * e * e
Excuse me Sir. I have a question ❓ The velocity in the Darcy Law is Discharge Velocity, which is in fact not real and it's superficial. So my point is that How Darcy measured the superficial velocity instead of actual velocity or seepage velocity.
you are talking about permeability but the units of your presentation are in L/T which is the unite of hydraulic conductivity!!!!!!! Permeability units are based on L^2, so they can be m^2, cm^2 and so on!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's the difference??
space or void is bigger in large size particle but not volume it's lesser
vice versa for smaller size particle
nigga we dont care!
you explain better than every university lecturer i ever had
Being a teacher of soil mechanics, I found your presentations wonderful
Thank you very much Sir
I can't believe that this masterpiece is available here for free ... As this is the best lecture of soil mechanics i ever had..
Pehle like click kiya
Then video dekha
I think your video are most reliable than any one else
This summed up a weeks worth of class lectures. it was like watching a SOIL PERMEABILITY FOR DUMMIES, thanks!!!
You really desreve bharat ratna award ❤ wonderful explanation and illustration.....🎉🎉🎉🎉
HAPPY TEACHERS DAY sir😊
The way that u explain the concept was really amazinggg... Hats off u Sr
ur work is underappreciated!!!
ur videos are so understandable!!!

Thanks for this awesome lecture, you are far better than University lecturers ❤️
Can anyone explain at 9:46 why the denominator (Volume of void) is being divided by numerator (Volume of entire cross- section)
Thank you for the videos sir. They are a great aid in my Geotechnical Engineering class lectures. Looking forward to your new videos.
Amazing explanation with this type of animation.
Simple and effective delivery of concept ...very useful thankyou sir
As usual !! Your videos are always awesome 👍👌
