    Personally I think what you paid for rent which you mentioned even included bills was very average considering how nice the place you described is. You cant put value on the peace of mind you get staying in a nice place

Most foreigners, especially from Nigeria, are here for a purpose such as security of life and property, access to essential facilities, light, good roads, water, access to basic health care, education without sexual harassment from teachers and lecturers, or having to bribe lecturers, jobs opportunities without sexual harassment from you bosses, or having to pay a bribe etc., to mention a few. 🙄

      You sound like a poor man. You definitely had it ruff in naij. Not everyone that was comfy before their move would settle for working for people that see people better than them as 'less than'. The UK is the wheel for the rats that love the rat race and it would never make you rich. It will only give you possessions it will take back in return
