Hi Emily, if I️ have a slightly lower gpa like 3.7 to 3.9, do you think I️ still have a chance of applying to tufts?

thank you for making this video; can i ask what a safe new sat score is good for tufts?

TrueWonders45 the 50% range is a 1340 composite (680-750 critical reading & 690-770 math), but Tufts is really big on actually using the wholistic application method so unless your scores are obscenely low you should be fine. I personally got a 1340 composite with a 720 CR & a 620 math. Please feel free to PM me if you have any other Tufts-specific questions!

Emily Marie thanks Emily for providing such information. Thanks again...and there is one more query does tufts philosophy department is as competitive as compared to other departments. like if I apply to tufts for major in philosophy, is it little bit easier to get in through it? and can you suggest me some books for preparing act and other good sources for preparing it ? waiting for your response. !!

I was a poor student in middle school, then when I arrived to HS, I started trying. Due to my slack in middle school, I won't be able to enroll in prestige classes, such as AP Calc, AP Physics C, etc. How much will that hurt me? I am a junior right now, and at the end of HS, I would have taken a total of 9 APs. How much will this hurt me? In addition, I get a lot of As--only a few A+s--will they care? Are they both the same in the eyes of officers? please reply :)

hi!! sorry for taking so long. depending on what school you go to, 9 APs should be perfectly fine (my school only offered 6!), especially if they're all As. they def won't care about an A-, SO many kids in APs get Bs, so just that will look good. obviously I'm not an admissions officer, but from my understanding of the admissions process you sound like you'll be just fine :)
