Thank you for featuring our product! Your watering setup looks great!
Makes caring for the chickens so much easier. Nice job!
It’s made chores significantly easier!
Awesome job! Thank you for sharing your project with us! Blessings Kiddos! 🌻🐛🌿💚🙏💕
Thank you! 🤗
Thank you Taylor! That is a good set up. Chix and ducks will be happy.
They love it!
My next project will be adding gutters to our two sheds, then add a few totes like your. My sheds are 12'x30' & 12'x28' with my coop in between them, so my plan is to add 3 totes per shed so plenty for the chickens and for the future raised beds next year.
When you clue (weld) your piping always make sure to twist so you won't have air pockets, also instead of caps use a female by socket and then a plug so all you have to do un thread and you can clean out the pipe.
You’ll be saving all sorts of water! That’s awesome. We’ve got more tote projects in mind for the garden, too😊
If you put some concrete pavers or gravel under the drinking bar it will help keep the inevitable mud mess down. 😊
Mulch works great, too!
@@calicocowacres I forgot about mulch 😆 it’s expensive and hard to get here in eastern Oregon (high desert) i use chopped straw and pine shavings and they don’t help the drainage situation of our hard clay soil 😆
@@jenniferjsaracino we have been lucky enough to get free mulch from a local arborist a few times now, so we have extras & we have mulched our entire chicken/duck runs so there’s no smell or mud at all! It’s worked out so nice, but I can see how pavers/gravel would work well too if you don’t have access to mulch 😃
I love ALL Calico Cow Acres videos!
Good job! Those ducks always crack me up! Hahahaha
Great completion, Taylor! You’re both wonderful to your animal buddies 😍🤗🇨🇦
Thank you! We ❤️ our birds😊
Wouldn't the duck watering cups work for the chickens too ?
They look so much sturdier.
Great job !
They would! The other kind stay a lot cleaner & it’s just easier to keep up with in our opinion
Taylor ,thanks for the idea for watering ,was wondering for overflow.
I found clear silicon gasket worked well
Good job. Enjoyed the video 😊
Glad you enjoyed😊
Nicely done Thank you Taylor for all the details. Let me know if the ducks keep the water cups clean… I have 10 and I can keep their water clean
The cups do get a little bit dirty but it’s easy to take the hose in once a week or so & just spray them out real quick :)
Nice job🥰❤️🐓🐓
That is really cool!
Will you put a shade cloth over the tote so the water doesn't get hot? The water cups for the ducks are so cute.
❤❤
Nice! I need to try this. I wonder how algae would be in it? Maybe add some gold fish.
We have a blackout cover for it 😁
