Exactly, it is not a GT. I think the Ncap scores are a little confusing, it’s not just crash test based (although I wouldn’t want to crash with the Dacia Spring 😄).
In my country the top legal speed is 130kmph on a highway anyway. Most of the time im driving on streets that allow no more than 80 so this woould be the perfect car for me.

Thanks! I deliberately skip the pricing part in most videos, except in the Spring video I mention the price because it’s ‘the cheapest EV’. Thing is that prices (and valuta) vary internationally and I want the reviews to be as neutral & objective as possible. Thanks for watching!
I think it is just a city car, because it’s very small, it has only 33kW of power, it is slow to accelerate and it has quite short range at highway speeds. Hyundai Ioniq is ”normal” electric car, Spring is city car (In my opinion).
I have seat in the rear seat of a Dacia Spring anda I have enough space. It's not the space of a Qashqai, but its ok. It´s not like you show in the film...
Well I have no idea why, I am 1m82 and the front seat was set to my length to drive the car before I sat in the back. This is the space I had left. 🤷♂️😅
It is not necessary actually to sit in back places, it is enough to look through window from outside in parking place to understand that is enough space only for childrens.
The lack of split fold rear seat is terribly impractical if you think about it. Sometimes you want a long object that is less than a seat width but you still want to carry 3 people... I get the feeling they made this so not many people buy it... but since its a dead car soon since Renault are replacing it with something based on the Sandero platform.

Something nobody will tell me is the actual real-world range of the Dacia Spring (or maybe the EPA rating). Not the WLTP nonsense stuff... I imagine the car should be in the order of 110-120 miles of range. Am I right?
Well, worst case real-world range will be around 75 miles (fast driving in cold weather), best case 164 miles (warm city crawling). Hope this helps! (got my data from ev-database.org)✌️😄
My average in winter with the Spring is 15,7 kWh per 100 km. Highway and city combination. The range is about 165 km at the moment while I use the heater (2 kW) a lot.
@@tijntjeofive8219 Yes, maybe you could even mount a little diesel heater in the rear underfloor on the outside somewhere for mid-winter. Also, there is a video where someone replaced the front seats with heated seats from an Opel Corsa. By the way, that mid rib orange hi-tension cable running down the length of the car underneath is really bad. It could be covered in maybe flexible Wavin pipe or something. 1. Under the hood is good to smuggle things? Is that a professional opinion? 2. Top speed 125km/h but not good for highway when the maximum speed in europe is 120-130km/h. Nah, that's not biased at all. You can apply that to any car with a short enough road. How many times have you needed to do it in under 10s? Just know the limitations and drive accordingly.
