I’m trying to avoid the people whining, complaining and comparing this game. I’m having fun with this game so far and trying to learn everything this game has to offer. Really enjoying your content so far as you focus on gameplay and break things down nicely. Keep up the good work.
too many people review bombing the game for it not being a direct copy of GOH of AS2. i see many on steam with less then an hour played. all noise……

I believe it will already be on your list, but just comment, another excellent video about the shortcuts and features/functions of the main types of squads in the game would be very good, tips like you in the CoH3 videos, thanks in advance for the videos, they are all very useful, especially for newbies to the game ;)
So much new stuff and fixes! Stable FPS, new buildign system, new spotting system, smoother movement of tanks(trees not slowing you down to a crawl, trenches can be traversed without fuckery or getting stuck in them, I love it honestly. It just cuts the stuff that people loved. But some sacrifacies has to be made, like you can run your own junkertown full of panzer 4 while playing sov ( and it's good. I unterstand a lucky trophy, but not an entire army) and old players are angry. but otherwise it's a great project.
the exp unit and tech tree system remind me of World of Tanks exp system

The game is good, but the same can’t be said about the community.
I don't understand why Gates of Hell players decided to trash the reviews of this game. You have your own game, so play it. Almost every negative review on Steam is a fan of the game Gates of Hell who bought the game in order to leave a negative review, after which he returned the money for the purchase. Are you so afraid of the popularity of this game that you decided to kill it at the very beginning?
That's simply not true. it's very disingenious to label the negative reviews as simply Gates of Hell players trashing the game... it barely feels like men of war. but I mean like c’mon, gamers are always naturally going to compare with what’s already on the market and there’s little this does better than GoH and a hell of a lot more it does worse! And it’s more expensive. Not to mention this is reusing audio from Faces of war (2006 game btw) with some audio files even going back to Soldiers: Heroes of WW2 (2004 game btw) it’s just lazy.
It’s like the devs want you to forget GoH exists when reviewing this and to be honest I think they’ve just been given a reality check.

You didn't launch Men of War 2 because you say the audio files is outdated. Where did you hear the old version?! Name at least one example! Many of the negative comments that are here and on Steam are unfounded. We can agree that the graphics are weak, but for such a game it is secondary. It's not much worse than in GOH, in some places I even like it more. Men of War 2 is more interesting to play than GOH. This can only be understood when you play and master the controls. People also don't like that a single-player game takes place on a server. They promise to fix it. But this is not the problem that makes the game bad. This is even a plus for developers, but creates a problem for those who would like to play it for free. Another problem is HP. It's not a problem, it's a feature of the game. If you turn on realism, there will be no HP. Here is the best multiplayer in the series. There is already a lot of PVE content on sale. What else do people need?! The game has disadvantages, but there are more advantages here than in previous games. I spend less time searching for the game, it doesn't slow down because there is someone else in the game who is slowing down. I can reconnect to the game if I get kicked out of it. The multiplayer session doesn't last even a few hours, and I can afford to play again.

Just because a review mentions gates of hell does not mean it's goh players "trashing the game" as I stated gamers are always going to compare with what’s already on the market and there’s little this does better than GoH and a lot more it does worse. Just because a review mentions a game that does it better does not mean they are a diehard fanboy of that game and wanting this to fail... this logic makes no sense. If anything MoW2 is killing itself with its strange design choices that don't resonate with majority of MoW players.

How about a few?
1. Half of the voice lines that are present in the game originate from Faces of War (2006) literally look at gameplay of it. These same voicelines have been used in MOW1, MOW Red Tide, MOW Condemned Heroes, MOW AS1, MOW AS2 and now MOW2.
Wanna know which game didn't reuse this audio... yep you guessed it, gates of Hell.
To be honest the only reason there is new audio and not all reused is because the old stuff was received so poorly in prior playtests they scrambled to hire people to get new voice line audio in there but didn't have enough to completely replace all the old stuff.
2. Tank Turret rotation sounds (e.g. Tiger 1) are from the first entry in the series from 2004, Soldiers Heroes of WW2. Compare the Tigers its literally the exact same...
3. Various Firearm audio is sourced from the likes of MOW, AS1, AS2. (e.g. Submachine guns, Mauser some machine guns etc)
4. Environmental soundscapes have also been reused on a lot of maps.

Graphically it's much worse than GoH. GoH especially with the Liberation DLC trumps this in quality of Assets and textures, fx etc. The only thing Mow2 does well in this regard is the general lighting and PBR Materials.

This is subjective, but I can assure you a vast majority of MOW players do not agree. AS1/2 is still more interesting to play than MOW2 let alone GoH. This game looks to cater toward more CoH players, hence players like Hans enjoying this the most.

That's just doesn't feel true, overall many would say it's regressed backwards. If that were true there wouldn't be a 50% positive review score and before you say, this is not GoH players... this has been caused by the decisions MOW2 team have made and its time they realised it.
Also you don't even understand how the HP system works lol. When you turn it off it just hides it. It's always been there in MOW its just this game calculates and displays it by default in a terrible way.
Not even going to get into the always online stuff, what you said about quicker games is just not true... having to que minutes on end for SP is just dumb...end of.

Men of War 2 has some of the same problems as Warthunder, little gameplay innovations and poor game balancing, but the tanks and weapons behave very authentic.
still donnu why would someone pick this over gates of hell and now im seeing lots of tutorials popping out for men of war like
where were these people when gates of hell came out, i had to learn and discover shit on my own for the most part cuz theres like few tutorials available

Can't charge 45 USD for a DLC so pretend it is a whole game
GoH is far superior, you can tell a lot of love has gone into that. This is not an upgrade from GoH, it doesn't even come close to matching the quality. It's a downgrade in almost every aspect.

@@gravey_official what do you feel is unfinished? GoH is great imo and future dlcs and factions will only expand upon the base game which I think is already fleshed out
GoH and MOW2 are made by different developers and published by different companies though, so keep that in mind
The video is well structured. The game is not, and the game has a lot of flaws that aren't covered by what is done with the mechanics. The always online is a big spit in the face as it tries to be CoH. We can also see how CoH 3 performs currently with the same idiotic decisions made. In short: What can be a decisive factor to play this over GoH or MOW:AS2? Graphics are not really an ace for strategy players tbh, other than that - there's noting this game does better or more interesting than the others
