First time I visited Grand Marais back in the early 70’s I stopped in to the Beaver House. I was astounded and overwhelmed for sure. Tyson’s dad got me outfitted and I’ve returned many times. I always looked forward to “what’s the hot Beaver Flick color this year”. Whatever the color they always produced. Just be sure to fish light line. Also walk across the street for a bag of Worlds Best Donuts. They are! Finally yes I did notice the Walleye on the roof was missing it’s tail- it blew off in a nasty storm years ago never to be replaced.
