Thanks for making this, makes me even more tempted to grab the Tzeentch side of Arcane Cataclysm. Nice to see that almost all the models I love the most and wanted to add seem decent except the Shaman which I look at, it doesn't look great and have been trying to be in denial for so long but waited this video like Rorschach going "DO IIIIT!" waiting to hear what I have been trying to deny. He will be replaced by a lovely Ogroid Myrmidon. It's a shame because it looks like a lot of these heroes could actually be pretty good if they were not so damn expensive, especially when you compare them to almost anything from bespoke warbands that are the same price.
Love your videos, truly great job you’re doing on them with both the analysis and delivery. I enjoy them very much! Sorry to comment on an older video but just watched this one and had a question. With the twist of fate reaction, would it not be possible to alter the value of a double to the same value of another double (making it now a quad), or a single (making a triple)? Singles are useless once prio is determined, but this would let you win prio, then sneak a triple mid round. Or am I reading it wrong?
Sadly, I do not think it works that way (although it would be very good if it did). This is because you only shimmy around dice during the initiative step and there are no rules (currently) that state you can combine dice after this step etc. Thank you for your kind words!
I like the +1S blessing on the non hero enlightened - turns them into a cheaper version of the aviarchs once youre using the triple to get really high base damage. I run a foot enlightened with that and for 165 its a decent package. As an ally that works nicely with the dice boosting reaction i like a +1S pyrocaster. Base 4/4/2/4 ranged means it can thin chaff without dice (they are quite dice hungry otherwise) and then with a decent double it can hit anything on 3s which stings. I have wondered about the cheaper ranged foot heroes - every time i use my thaumaturge as an artillery piece it occurs to me i could have got something cheaper to do the job...
Pyrocaster does seem really solid. Deffo something I’m looking at for future chaos list ideas. I’m actually throwing around a triple magister with +1S Build in my head. That R15 2 4 3 6 profile is pretty swank. The list revolves around pumping all your dice into Locus to maximise your burst. Could also drop 1 magister for a cheaper Ephilim and then fill out the rest with Ephilim units, chaff, or more threats. Could see a Myrmidon being a solid body to just exist in a Magister gunline with maybe 4 Tzangor. Not sure on points mind you. May have to finagle a bit for numbers. EDIT - Bro I’m cooked. 3 magisters with +1S, 3 Tzangor and a Myrmidon is 1k on the nose. I’m a genius
@@wargamesontoast looks interesting! I've wondered about pyrocaster gun line before. Makes sense to have some beef as an anchor, like your myrmidon, as otherwise it all ends up quite fragile...
Hello. you cool man. But It's a pity that a blood hunt box costs $195 in Russia. I really want to take it, but how much does it cost in your stores? Can I play siege missions without the blood hunt box?

I can see a case for triple foot magister gunline… give them all +1S and go to town XD
Thanks so much for this video! I've not much idea on this warband but its great to see more videos coming up!
Glad I could help!
Super helpful video! Loving the fun edits in the video. Bonus points for being a true Dark Pact believer 💯

@andrewmorris550 Gotta have the backup threat or the distraction carnifex for sure haha
Hey you see your kinda, slide-in racks of trays in the background there? What are they called and where did you get them?
They are from IKEA and I believe they are called ‘Trofast’
Having a Silver Tower boxed set certainly helps with getting a few of these models, shame the kairics suck.
It’s a sweet set

1st! Haha, get owned other viewers
You owned them all for sure!
