    Coming home...finally. It had a broken fuelpump and wouldn't start. That was after the auction, so just bad luck with my very first purchase in Japan. But they took care of it very well.

    The Z3 Coupe/hatchback combines sport and versatility.

    Fun fact, these were built in the US. In South Carolina to be exact.

      It's correct, all Z3s were built in the USA.

      I'm autistic, and the first gen Z4 was also built in the same plant in South Carolina.

    The 2001-2002 m coupe in gold or blue are 80k in the USA now. The other colors are 60k. Prices really did jump.

      dawicked2k8 for a low mile 2001-2002 yes. The 99-00 are much cheaper. A high mile 99-00 can be had for less then 20k.

    How much would it be to ship a car to Germany, Bremerhaven?

    BMW Z3 M Coupe.....The car that inspired Ferrari designers for the Ferrari FF....can't blame them...beautiful cars

      Johan Karreman it's not true. It's a tribute at the shooting break like the Lancia HPE or the Jensen Heley.
      The same thing, for the Ferrari, this is why it's called FF; that is the same name of the first sport car with four wheel drive, the Jensen Interceptor... FF, that was also a shooting break.

    I really don't like the rear bumper with the number plate housing. I hope there are replacement bumpers in Germany.

    • @jasonst5688
      @jasonst5688 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, the square plate housing is removable. Then you have got the EU-Bumper for 520mm plates. The M-versions do have a clean rear bumper, the plate is put right below the chrome handle of the trunk lid.

    I heard,and seen pictures that some Eu cars(VW,BMW,etc) which are sold back to Eu, got their first full service in there at the port,because the buyer looked under the hood and saw that the original(factory) oil filter still on, the oil looked like tar,50-80k km,no oil change.I guess that's the minority,but it happens from time-to-time.😉

      I think that most Euro drivers here do maintenance according to what the dealer tells them to do. I would think that the average Japanese Euro-car owner is more strict about maintenance than just about any other country.

    If these vehicles are sold in Japan, why are they LHD?

    • @waifubreaks1572
      @waifubreaks1572 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Same reason Americans import RHD cars from Japan.

    • @MashedPotatonator
      @MashedPotatonator 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can buy European cars brand new in either LHD or RHD in Japan. However, you have to pay extra for LHD.

    • @TangoR34
      @TangoR34 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      and Japanese find LHD European cars more exotic, because reasons!

    • @Banom7a
      @Banom7a 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      because japanese think its cool to have LHD, and sometime classes, since most premium european car are LHD in general.
