i swear the wnba/wbb got all these positions .....forward-guard, stretch 4, guard-forward, center-forward, small guard, point guard, combo guard and now i got to add off ball guard too....i love it
You could argue whether Sonia Citron is a two or a three. Put her in the backcourt, and Notre Dame has three first round WNBA picks, probably the top half of the first round.
Glad maya mcdermott got a mention on this list for the uni panthers ,she has been exceptional but disappointed lucy olsen /k feuerbach did not get a mention .
Imagine… Notre Dame WAS once on Caitlin Clark’s short list. She being the veteran senior point guard, sharing the back court with freshman Hannah Hidalgo. All thar psycho Tasmanian devil energy. Caitlin might have stayed her fifth yeat to prolong the chaos!
@@stargazer3677 Caitlin was committed to Notre Dame because of their Guard U tradition and Caitlin had gone to catholic schools her entire life. She tells the story herself. But wanting to stay home won out in the end. She said her mom forced her to call the then Notre Dame coach Muffett McGraw herself to tell her she was going to reverse decision and attend Iowa.
The O'Mara Gordon and Sonia Citron disrespect is real!! I know you'll say Citron is a wing, but she can run 1-3 and often does. Also consider that you counter Brooks, James and Rivers as guards as well as Paige, Chen and Azzi. Compare numbers for Gordon and latson with Hanna and Olivia and they are comparable as a back court. Having juju does make you a top 3 back court because there offense is give juju the ball and let her work. That back court isn't on this list without juju so for me they can't be #3. In a nutshell, I disagree with a lot of your list, but thanks just the same because it's fun going through all of this a highlighting these young women👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾
Paige, Juju & Flaujae r super talented players who deserve their praise & rankings. But I'm baffled at UConn's ranking. When analysts talk abt UConn they include Fudd as an impact player. Why? It isn't based on performance. She's played barely over 20 games in the last 3 seasons. But somehow she catapults over productive players in rankings. The best ability is availability. IMO Fudd has not earned her status
USC and Florida State have a great guard but not a great backcourt in general especially not better than LSU or South Carolina and NC State is way too low they aren’t losing games because of the backcourt, they’re only in games because of their backcourt and you didn’t add Zam Jones either I got them top 3
People need to stop trying to send Latson to other schools they won't let her play as freely. She is at FSU for a reason and she gets coverage she is in the ACC it's not like she is at a mid major
There are plenty of pro players that went to lesser known basketball factories...that being said Florida State isn't a mid major either...she fine.. EVERYBODY doesn't get the attention and accolades all the time...the pro scouts know who she is..that's all that matters
But they aren't the best Backcourt in College Basketball. Beating a Texas Team with overrated and Too Short Rory. Beating a UCONN team fresh after UCONN losing their star player and playing at ND on their Homecourt. Beating a USC team, also fresh off of losing their Star Freshman Guard to injury so a Freshman had to step in. So when ND beats a team with their Guard Duos intact, them maybe we can say what they truly are. As of now, they are Blank Gold.

Hannah Hidalgo and Olivia Miles are so fun to watch! Really hope ND or UCLA win the whole thing. Thanks for the video
Also why didn't you include sonia citron with Hildago & Miles?
She’s a wing

Yeah right I would take Notre Dame Hannah Hidalgo and Olivia miles as the nation best back court duo

i think Soni should be there with liv and Hannah. she may nit be scoring as much but shes been playing great lock down defence
How you forget Texas?

Caitlin wanted to go to UCONN. That was her first choice. They didn’t offer her and took Paige instead, so CC opted to go to Iowa.

Does Sonia citron not count as a backcourt player or
No she is a foward by ncaa standards
@@BryantBrothers-gm1qxI guess I would call her a wing
@@BryantBrothers-gm1qx Citron played point last year when Miles went down.
@dongiant9657 well thats a fill in role and in the past...when all are healthy?she is officially a FOWARD
Did you consider M State guards Jordan and Russell? These two young ladies are very good from the mid-range inwards.
South Carolina gamecocks will repeat this season
What about MK for LSU

To be fair, Citron was forced into being a point guard last year and did not look like a natural. Two or three, sure.
@pwk22 that's fair. I agree with you but I do think she was a capable pg when they needed her to be. But no, no team is gonna draft her as a pg🤣

You do get recognized for your pedigree as well....they are a good team...they are always right there at the end
What about ND’ Sonia Citron? She will likely be a top 5 pick. In this year’s WNBA draft
I agree, they are the best backcourt in the country. I also think that west virginia should be a little higher.
Skylar Diggins-Smith & Kayla McBride were the best backcourt duo at ND.
Skylar + Jewell &
Arike + Jackie + Marina
were also pretty good
Ta'Niya Latson shout out
Where is mikayla Williams
And you didn't even mention one Duo/TRIO that might be better then YOUR enter LIST.
South Carolina should be HIGHER.
You are ranking them low because your expectation was high.
