Any device that doesn't deliver is too expensive, even when it's cheaper, but investing in quality really shouldn't make us feel guilty. I have been loving my foreo bear and yes, I'll more than likely buy the new one, because it delivers results and it is super safe to use. I agree with you 100%
The only device that I actually have bought myself was a dr pen as my birthday gift. Tonight was the second time I’ve tortured myself but I love it! I’m really hoping to see great results from it. Oh and I got moms red light back so I’m incorporating that too….that helped my knee pain immensely so now it’s on to the face. ❤
Ha! You got it back lol! Red light is magical to me. Just the relaxation alone would probably make it worthwhile to me. Really forces me to sit myself down and chill the eff out for a bit haha!
@@MrKongsMom yes! I go into a sort of meditative state when I use it and no one is allowed to open my bedroom door til I’m done! …..and she had to give it back because I am her built in mac babysitter…she owes me😂
I am very similar to you Melanie in that I always use my silicone face cleanser and my red light panel and mask! I have a nuface, a red light panel, multi light face and neck mask (red, blue, green purple, infrared yellow), a microneedling pen, a vibrating silicone face cleanser (something from Amazon that is AMAZING and cheap) and a pulsed light device for hair removal. I will admit I go through very dedicated stages of using each device and then not using them 😬 🤷🏻♀️. I definitely use the pulsed light and nuface more in the summer and microneedling pen more in the winter.
I actually have a hair removal device that I need to start using. I am hoping to not have to shave as often this summer lol. I think its' totally fine that you go through cycles. Listen, life isn't perfect but as long as you come around to it again I think its worth investing in. But I do think some just don't want to sit still for that long lol. I love it tho, very relaxing for me. Forces me to slow down my ADHD riddled 45 year old self lol.
@@MrKongsMom I love mine and have noticed a decent reduction in how often I need to shave even 6 months after stopping use! I definitely have some devices that I totally fell off the wagon using 😬 but once I realized I wasn't getting the results I wanted from them, I passed them on and was able to focus on the ones I use and get results from! One of my resolutions this year is to make time for my self care! So hopefully that'll mean more time with my beloved skin devices! I have ADHD too and 45 minutes to myself everyday (the time it would take to use everything lol) sounds like HEAVEN!
So the one I have the company discontinued but I found one with the same specs here at a decent price point: amzn.to/48ODAsb I will say, I think the panels are MUCH more versatile and worth saving up for. Even a smaller panel when mounted on the pulley system most come with can easily be moved to different areas of the body.
It's not that I don't like it, but I stopped doing EMS and switched over to microcurrent so I am mostly using my FOREO Bear now. the Lumo has a lot more features but I don't really use all of them. I will reach for it for RF tho.

You mentioned a red light therapy mat that you use for your calf muscles. Could you please share the link to that?

What did you not like about the evenskyn lumo?

Why did you stop doing EMS? Sorry if you said why and I missed it. I tried listening again but didn't hear why? Is it dangerous?
