any game w/ easy anti cheat will not launch for me no matter how hard I try to fix it. It will either tell me there was error 0xc000005 or the game will just load and then close out
if you want to fix it, check and you'll see that there are two anticheat folders, one simply named easyanticheat, and the other one named EasyAntiCheatKamu or something like that, open that folder and you'll see that there is another EasyAntiCheat which hasn't the "EOS" name in the file, open that one and it should work!

I haven’t found my issue, but to do this, remember what he said, everything is kinda connected with all easy anti cheat games, so look for files in programs x64/x86, and make sure the file isn’t (OES) or EOS) I believe, and if it as long looks like the file in the videos obviously, then you should be fine, though if anyone including yourself is mentioning this as if you did know that, than sorry that I couldn’t help you any further. @@simanole4457 I have made a mistake, every file .ddl were not read by the software that can read it but by the block note, if you have the same problem you need to change the way the computer open the .ddl files
For everyone who's having the same issue as me, try verify the integrity of the game files on steam and running "sfc /scannow" on command prompt. Also, remember to open cmd as an administrator.

Been doing this on a rinse and repeat basis whenever I run War Thunder, and what infuriates me is that it's a 50/50, either a okay, or it'll throw an error 2 then straight up BSOD (error: KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE) But for some reason running Enlisted and Apex which also uses EAC, this doesn't even happen (the errors still pop up from time to time but it doesn't result in a blood boiling BSOD afterwards)
Have you fixed it yet? Same thing has been happening to me and i'm completely lost. I've searched for a solution before, but it looks like that there isn't really one that will get rid of this problem.
@@IKatzen One temporary fix I discovered is by deleting the EAC folder in War Thunder's game folder, it works 75% of the time (it still has a chance to BSOD) but 75% ia better than 30% (I get more BSOD before this) And don't worry, as long as you delete the EAC folder in War Thunder's game folder before you open WT's launcher, the launcher will reinstall it back

I'm speaking for a friend who plays on the windows store version, but they have been stuck with eac error 4 for over a month. Tried EVERYTHING! And nothing has worked, when they linked their xbox account to behaviour it then gave the eac error for steam, unlinked and it was fixed, why can they not play on windows? We have literally tried every single fix possible, behaviour themselves ignore our emails, and tell them it's an issue with their hardware, but it isn't because it happens on other pc's, we have tried uninstalling eac - reinstalling- updating - completely removing the file and then reinstalling - reinstalling the game - and more

Problem: When i open EAC it instantly closes | Solution: What worked for me is creating a shortcut of the "EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe" and then right-clicking on it then clicking on properties and just typing "repair" after quotemarks where you can change it's name.
