That train journey is so cool!!!
It feels like if I’m riding the train
I have never been in water loo and city line train but it’s like the central line + jubilee line with designs

It's the exact same as the central just a little different, also I love his videos too it really does feel like you are actually riding the train!

I literally did this exact journey in person yesterday but for some reason I still want to watch a video of it. Good content.

    It’s changed.
Back in the early 80s i got a job in the City. Prior to this i always used the tube to the West End. I got of our commuter line at Waterloo Station. On the Station PLATFORM there was an ominous looking hole. I duty followed the people down. It took us along a dimly lit endlessly seeming passageway. Still following i came onto an Underground platform. Waterloo.
I stood back and observed. Unlike the London Underground where people form an amorphous mass on the platform, people were forming up in apparent little queues. As the train wasn’t yet in and these queues were seemingly random, i joined one.
Sure enough, when the train came in, the doors opened at the front of the queue. Who would’ve thought it?
At off peak times, stern closed rails closed off the openings on the commuter platforms. It didn’t run at weekends either.
This now, looks like another world.
P.s The little non stop train was an old art deco one. Lovely.

I never knew the Waterloo & City line was behind a different gate line than the rest of the tube.

Was not a part of the tube until very recently. Was National Rail until 1990s-2000s.

On my next visit this is the last tube line I need to ride on to complete my underground travels. Thanks for your video, I might have got lost trying to find the platform, certainly a lot of twist and turns.💙🚶👀🇬🇧

The train at 3:24 is an unrefurbished central line train. This train has been in service since the early 90s so that’s why they are squealing. They will be replaced with newer more efficient trains someday and the line will probably get extended as well.
