Myth: if you fuse an emitter to your shield and shield surf with your paraglider, you can burn/freeze/shock/laser enemies from above.
Freeze or Shock emitter works best for this.

Seriously. I’m a little amazed the good Dr. didn’t realize this lol. I feel like he goes for myth-busting more than playing the game.
That's not a myth... That's something that happens in story and even characters talk about it when you do their respective dungeons. Only way to miss it is ignoring the main quests or ignoring every single piece of text and Lookout Landing entirely. Which I've seen people doing.

@@glumaz5590Especially since weapons don't lose durability when used by enemies. They'd attack you, get confused and then go and confuse the rest.
This actually happened to me! I recalled a rock a moblin had just thrown. While it was staying in midair where the moblin was, I fused it to a sword. The game bugged out and there was a floating small rock, even though the menu said I had a rock-sword.
If you fuse King Zora's scale to a zora weapon it will be classified as wet and activate it's ability even in the desert. It will destroy the scale after a single use though

When the monks despawn in the shrines in Botw, they emit greenish-blueish particles. This is the same color as found on many Zonai parts and tools… including link’s arm in totk!!! Could start some theories.
EX: are the skeikah and zonai connected somehow?

I remember you saying it'll probably be a pain to test whether fall damage is percentage based or flat damage. I think you could probably use hover stones for it and maybe even ask some help from the community to test it, since different players will probably have different amounts of heart containers.
Myth, or potential tip for the future: If you fuse a flint to a torch and hit anything will the torch be lit, proving that you can basically have a lit candle anywhere without fire?
Hmm especially when hitting metal or maybe stone.

I just learned that you can light your arrows on fire by shooting them at ore. Though, the arrow won’t still be on fire after you pick it back up.

You can talk to the flying rito at lookout landing with very complicated zonai creations to trap em
If you have the time can you attach a rocket to an eightfold long blade and hold the spin attack until it goes away and then keep holding I remembered this at 12:44
you can actually fuse dragon and gleeok horns to eightfold longblades to give the wind that effect. Muddle buds also work though the color of the slash does not change. you can also make a laser machine by fusing a beam emitter or a flame/shock/frost item. you can also gain all your battery back by cooking.
Here's one I don't see enough people talking about:
The Master Sword only benefits from the fusion durability boost once. (as of game version 1.2.1) after using a fused Master Sword's durability up and letting it recharge, you won't see the full durability sparkle show up after it becomes available for use again. Even if you fuse a new item to it.
We need more people to start talking about this and bring it to Nintendo's attention so that they fix it.

for the surf-on water idea what about using a hover stone fused to your shield? Or just using the hover-stone shield in the air?
No, hover stone does nothing, not even make you fall slower
i seem to recall from one of the item description that unless you want an actual explosion to happen while cooking, you need to combine the flower bomb with the shock fruit. maybe try that? (gonna see if i can test it on my end as well, even though i beat the game twice already.)

You can attach an Elemental Lizalfos Tail to a Pristine Claymore and use the spin attack to stun lock the Gloom Hands until they're defeated.
I actually tried this one myself, it definitely works. Although you don't have to have a pristine claymore per se... it's definitely better for the damage you do. My personal recommendation is a pristine Gerudo claymore
@@Levi-md6cehonestly, I'd recommend a pristine knights claymore or just a variant thick stick. Gerudo weapons have good damage but terrible durability. And obviously the special/amiibo weapons are the best.

@@Levi-md6ceI personally think you should just use a soldiers claymore since while they lack in raw damage, they make up for with being able to spin for longer consuming less stamina, btw it is quicker charged attacks for spear and sword for soldier set but the claymore has this buff. Nothing else

3. Apparently there is a little detail involving the stabilizer. It will always remain upright while in its capsule. My question is: could it be used like a normal stabilizer? And if so, would we be able to create an infinite energy source with it (by creating something using only stabilizer capsules)?
To shield surf on water maybe instead you could try to use the yellow things in shrines that float on water?

When I saw your video about the bomb-jumping and Zonai springs I thought, "That's because you're using a regular bomb flower, you numpty!" Other than the unexpected discovery of the bomb-jump the only thing that the bomb flowers are known for is causing damage and not necessarily for activating Zonai devices like the springs. However what is known for activating Zonal devices are the Zonai time bombs, and those can also be used for bomb-jumping. So I tested it and sure enough bomb-jumping with the time bomb-fused shield did activate the spring whereas the bomb flower-fused one didn't. However that was the only difference I had noticed as I didn't really go any higher than with a bomb-jump with either type. Even triple-stacking the springs to ensure that they made contact when activated didn't make a difference, so this myth does seem to be false.

So, I've seen that some fans think you can't get a different Dragon Part if you mess up and and need to reload. As long as you save before you get the Dragon Part and don't save after; reloading will allow you to fix your mistake. If you're on the Dragon before you reload you will be taken off of it. But, let's say you need a Dragon Horn but you got a Dragon Scale; you can reload fly back to the Dragon and try again. Just don't save after you get the wrong Part.
The Wind Blow is just the special ability for the Eightfold Blade, and special Abilities get nullified when fusing it on top of another weapon
Burning dazzle fruit creates a flashbang that stuns enemies for a minute longer than throwing or fusing dazzle fruit to arrow/weapon
NPC's aren't scared of objects, they are only scared when you use your abilities to move them. The dog myth for example had the dog run away because you were using the Ultrahand ability but when you left the bones to the dog from throwing it near the dog it was neutral.
It makes sense, people would be scared of floating inanimate objects
Shield surfing was a missed opportunity for Nintendo to make it so opals would spawn a huge wave of water. Would've been so good for the water temple fight.

Myth: If you attach elemental gleeok parts to a boomerang you can repeatedly throw fire, electric, and icy tornados into groups of enemies stunning multiple in a short time, you could also possibly use the icy boomerang to make bridges across water
if you do a quick spin attach with a one handed sword with the charged outfit then you can do a mini Urbosa's Fury

For the arrow myth (as far as i could see), you always used "fired" arrows. But what if you shot them off of something (so they where an item instead of a projectile - like a rock or wall). Could you catch them then?
That's what I was thinking too! Definitely needs to try it with a arrow that's hit a wall, or one from a box that's been broken, not after shooting.
That would work, because it would just be the same as a dropped item. Doesn't even have to be an arrow anymore. And by that point it isn't worth testing...
Myth: All the gleeok horns have different prices, with fire being the least, frost being in the middle, and thunder being the most.
Don't know if this one has been tested or not, but I just watched someone playing Minish Cap and was wondering if you could ride the lily pads like in that game. There's a few in lookout landing, a korok frond or other "gusting" weapon might let you ride round on them.
Nevermind, just tested and the lily pads are anchored to the bottom of the lake, they cannot move.

Hmm, didn't know you can feed dogs apples in this game or Breath of the Wild. I know that dogs tend to love apples (and peanut butter, for that matter) in real life, but I guess I didn't think the devs knew about this. I guess it might be similar to the whole crab thing in Breath of the Wild, where I heard crabs were initially only gonna be elixer ingredients until the devs found out that Americans eat crabs, and we tend to find them at least tasty.
The problem with your bomb shield -> spring experiment is that bombs don't activate Zonai devices -- but Zonai time bombs do. Try it out, I bet it'll activate the spring.
If you beat ganons army right before the main ganon fight you can place a teleportor right next to the ledge, so if you wanna fight ganon again you can skip his army and even the bosses if you didnt get the sages

Myth, fusing weapons to other weapons and fighting usually results in the weapon breaking, but during the final ganon and phantom ganon at castle boss fight, the master sword is unbreakable, so will an attatched weapon still break on it? Or does it also become unbreakable

Special properties of weapons used as materials are ignored. Similar to how gloom weapons don't gloom you, feathered weapons won't gust, royal guard weapons don't do extra damage before they break, etc.
Fusing weapons to weapons only increases damage and reach. No special effects.
Myth: Addison can make the Hudson signs stay up at logic defying angles if you can keep them up that way long enough
Yes. I've actually had that happen once. Might've just been a glitch , though.

Myth (This one is for the builders and I don‘t know if everybody knows it already): If you attach a stabilizer to a construct (not to the enemy’s or bosses) it floats on Water.

Have you confirmed that it is possible to glide forever without using stamina through using the aerial mobility armour in an area with an updraft, such as the sky labyrinths after you solve their trials and unlock the surface shrine? (It is fun when you dive from the very top of those winds to the depths without the Switch having a loading pause, and land with full health and stamina due to the flight suit set bonus cancelling the fall damage. Maximum dive, minimum cost.)
Idea: make a fuse for a bomb by lining up a bunch of wood and light it.
Myth: the “Majoras fabric”, “horse god fabric”, and the fabric you get from the wolf link amibo (I forgot it’s name) are the only fabrics that can glow in the dark.
Wrong both the Addisons fabric and koltin fabric do but they are hard to get as they need all Addison signs or bulbul frogs respectively, also it’s the mirror of twilight fabric my fav one

Yes. Muddled Lynels will attack other nearby mobs first if you're not fully aggroed to it.

Clips through. Link cannot inflict self damage with arrows, unless they have elemental AOE blasts or bomb explosions.

Now that i got tears myself I can test my own stuff, so the following is not a myth, it is the truth:
We all know when you hop on a lynels back and punch him/her (do lynels have a gender!?) there is no durability loss for your weapon, but additionally, if you use a weapon from phantom ganon it will not hurt Link with miasma damage either, so using a lynels horn fused to such a weapon is a great (casual) way of dealing damage to them (casual because yeah we could use a zora weapon and wet ourselves [pun intended] or the ones that give bonus damage while at one heart with bone fusions and one of the armor sets giving bone damage +)
Myth: If you attach a stabilizer to a boomerang it will have some weird effects on it's trajectory.
I number 3. Shame you cant go surfing when shield surfing. Thanks for including my idea.
Myth: If you do a 360 degree rotation with the joystick and press Y, you will do a mini charged attack with the sword(1 handed)

Myth: you can stand next to luminous stone deposits in caves to heal gloom damage
I found a cool interaction. If you have a like like eat you while you have a bomb shield equipped, when it steals it, it will blow up.

I would sit through all 200 myths for a special AND more. By the way, the Master Sword beam can be shot at Ganondorf’s gloom balls and redirect them towards him. Just like when you hit them using melee with the Master Sword.

You can't shield surf after a certain amount of time falling. He already tested a lot of fall damage shield surf myths including the wing I think.
If you give an enemy a weapon with an ancient blade, and then you hit that enemy with a muddle bud, and that enemy attacks other enemies, will those other enemies disappear into another dimension?
you can fight 3 lynels at once by placing travel medallions in the cages of the silver and blue lynel in the colleseum and then going back after a blood moon to throw ancient blades at them

Myth: Dr.Wily has 100% TotK by now.
I tried this myself, might be because I'm using an older version of the game (1.1.1) that allows for the superior Shield Surf/Paraglider dupe glitch (Would you blame me for wanting to use dupe glitches in a strictly singleplayer game to get more of those hard-to-get materials?)
Anyways, assuming you're on a more recent version of the game, would you try using the Zonai Batteries on the Mineru Mech?

Myth to check that I have had a question on for a while but have not tested it myself: when attaching a cannon to a boomerang, would it shoot a volley for cannonballs while the boomerang is flying?
I think the cannon takes priority over the throw option so you would just aim a cannon ball, not throw the boomerang (similar to the korok leaf).
You have busted the reef drop locations for the rest of the fancy hat outfir. Ill share in a year maybe. I dont like spoiling to much.
Stabilizer capsules will try to stay upright, though not if something is connected.
If you get a small wheel, then put a steering stick onto the side of it and put a stabiliser on the other side you have a really quick vehicle 😊 (If in doubt watch Austin John Plays top 7 zonai builds - it’s in the thumbnail)
Also give the dog a gibdo bone (it’s not wriggling 😅)

does the Shield in the start-Animation for Shield-surfing have the capability to block? (Arrows, Weapon-Blows, etc.)

This one is boomerang related and kinda silly but... You know how boomerangs make one circle and then you either catch them or they hit the ground? Is there a way we could throw them from a platform or something to see if it could make 2 full circles or if it does one and then goes straight?

I don't remember exactly where I got it, but I could have sworn I got a boomerang from an enemy that had a glider attached to it, and the boomerang flew slightly farther than normal.
