I have a tip, you can use stealth armor for easy collecting critters. If you have max stealth, they very rarely run from you. And for the best results take a photo of them and sarch by your radar mode :D
Yea, it works you just need a weapon with a bit of durability or else it breaks immediatly and you need a strong weapon cause the lizalfos tail doesn't last forever so it works only like for 4 spins

Lynels have a weakness to treasure chests. What i mean by that is if you attach two metal chests together and autobuild them near a lynel, the Lynel will try to destroy them by roaring, but the chests won't be destroyed so you can attack them without being attacked back!
You can use the fan blades from the right(?) Leg depot in the depths of the current patch. Just use a stabilizer to break them off and then attach 2 together and save in auto build
I should have used Dazzle fruit more often in my playthrough of the game for how effective it is on certain enemies. I just threw the regular elemental fruits and bombs since they were effective enough.
sadly I stupidly tried this the first few times with the shield. since that's how you deflect things in these 2 games my brain forgot the sword's how you volley his attacks.
Dazzlefruit is a little op. It's pretty much the deku nut of TotK, but as a result, anything that can be stunned by hitting It's weakpoint or weakness, will instantly get stunned by throwing the fruit.
Saw this earlier when I was fighting Gibdos in the depths with a topaz wand, but it seems the ones walking on the ground are just a little tankier than the ones that fly.
You can actually use any status effect to strip Gibdo's of their armor. I use plain water chuchu jellies and splash fruits a lot. I haven't tested with muddle buds or puffshrooms, but anything with shock, fire, water, or ice effects will work.
Attached an electric battery to a wooden Korok Shield and used it to shield lightning breath from a thunder Gleeok. It completely absorbs the electricity of the attack
You can apparently increase your paragliding speed if you wear the glide suite armor then as you're flying forward with your paraglider opened, press B to close it, immediately followed by X to reopen your paraglider (so B+X) while continuing ahead as normal & the result is you'll paraglide just a little bit faster than before. It's believed to be a glitch that hasn't been patched yet. The speed change seems marginal so it would be awesome if you could test it to see if it's actually true as I want other people to know about it since it's useful but I'm also hoping I haven't been doing it all this time for nothing. haha

Time slowing while using the scope and gliding is just a quality of life thing, so you can actually look around up there. For bullet time to set things up, I'd still just say use the bow as it's a bit faster and lets you' change glide direction on a dime.

Hoverstone+Boomerang (or a Spear) is way more useful than with an arrow on the Surface because you can reuse that Hoverstone by fusing it to the weapon repeatedly. Firing it with the arrow would mean needing to pull out a weapon to fuse it to. Easiest way to do the Addision signs tbh…just need 1 Hoverstone.
Myth: when you use the weird hydrant glitch you can go beneath the depths. And another myth related to this, I think the gloom spots beneath the depths correspond to the gloom spots in the actual depths.
Actually gibdos are affected by any elemental attack. Doesn't matter if it's lightning, fire, water, ice, or light, they just require the attack be elemental in nature and not a basic damage hit. I believe mirrors also worked on them in the boss fight.
Fun fact: you can pick up Yiga trap bananas if you knock them out of position from outside the trigger range - I like shooting the banana bunch, collecting the arrow and banana, and then chopping down the Yiga “tree” to get the battle (and the Yiga weapons).
@@drwily let me explain: if bokoblins are in the middle of a jump slash or just regularly swinging a sword, and the boss bokoblin calls the boko back with the horn, u take no damage.
you don't need anything fancy for the fall damage cancel so the steering stick will not get away from you, it just has to be controlling SOMETHING, and that something can be a rock. i have used this for fall damage nullification to get to the depths, or down from a sky island, etc. without a paraglider. if you've got no paraglider, put a steering stick on a rock in your autobuild, build it, recall it, and then grab it with ultra hand, bring it near you, and then push it away again. recall it, hop on, and then once it's over the gap you can cancel the recall to plummet straight down. that's a very handy trick that will save you a fairy. i learned about it from chat during pointcrow's no stamina run! or if you want to get some distance from a sky island, use a glider wing, build the rock-stick, fuse the rock to the glider, do a ultrahand+recall launch over the edge, hop on the stick to steer the glider (it works even without any active components), then after a minute you will safely plummet down to the surface from wherever the glider despawns.
If you fuse a bokoblin boss horn to an arrow you can cut down trees with 1 shot And get the arrow and horn back after. So you never lose the horn to durability on a melee weapon

those flower shaped sky islands that you have to take pictures of for the quest....theres a couple of them that will fall to the ground below when you land on them. if you cling to it the entire way down you take no damage.
A great way to more easily catch fairies is to use stealth buffs, wearing the full yiga set or eating a stealth 3 food makes the fairies not run away, as long as you walk, they still run if you sprint or jump
Here’s something interesting to test: Can you use mirrors to reflect light from a lightroot (or even natural light from the surface reflected into the depths), and will the light beams heal gloom damage?
If you take a bomb shield or spring shield (ps it needs to be equipped), put your back against a flat wall, go into your inventory, drop the shield, equip and drop another shield and leave the inventory, you can infinitely bounce without consuming durability. Please try

It will make it easier for you :) Edit: It was Lake Kolomo, the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower is South-East of it, and I got there to just chill from the Great Plateau North Chasm which is South-West of it. (If you want, here is some extra information according to my map, on the little island is a Korok, and South-East of the island is the gloom hands.)
Actually very cool one I discovered while playing that makes sense in retrospect but I still think is cool. Apparently, Fire-Breath Lizalfos near the Gerudo Desert Region will turn into Ice-Breath Lizalfos at night. IDK if it works in real time but sitting at a campfire definitely causes it.
Also, if you have taken gloom damage, but then eat a hearty meal, when you go under a lightroot, when the broken hearts are restored, the golden hearts are used up to heal.
I love using Mineru because you can destroy ore deposits in 1 hit even with nothing attached, and you can jump from her and enter bullet time, I always use her for Lynels (but won't prevent damage if you get hit)

Fusing a ruby on boomerang will stop the boomerang being thrown Edit: also using the yiga earthquake technique against the yiga blade master or Soldier it will track where they teleport.
if you go to the floating colleseum and put travel medallions in the silver and blue lynel spots you can teleport back after a blood moon, throw an ancient arrow at both of them, and then when you come back to the colleseum the other three all release at once
With the steering stick one, I flew around on my hoverbike for long enoguh for the fans to disappear. When they did I was just left falling on the steering stick. That did cancel fall damage. But yeah I don't think you can just ride a steering stick alone, it has to be attached to something at first, but even if what it's attached to goes away you'll stay on it.

Soldier's Claymore* (Prestine) with Durability+ (gold letters) should get the job done. Maybe use atk up gear and food to be safe.

You can destroy mucktarok in the rematch with zonai hydrants to wash away the muck. No idea if that works in the temple fight tho.

I think you will receive both effects, you will loose hearts because of the malaise but you will recover health thanks to de dragon part.

Any island that grants you sticks requires the paraglider to access. They aren't on the tutorial one
You can use any element to break a Gibdo’s hide. I personally throw regular ChuChu at them or fuse them to an arrow to instakill with headshots

Edit: It was Lake Kolomo, the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower is South-East of it, and I got there to just chill from the Great Plateau North Chasm which is South-West of it. (If you want, here is some extra information according to my map, on the little island is a Korok, and South-East of the island is the gloom hands.)

Actually very cool one I discovered while playing that makes sense in retrospect but I still think is cool. Apparently, Fire-Breath Lizalfos near the Gerudo Desert Region will turn into Ice-Breath Lizalfos at night. IDK if it works in real time but sitting at a campfire definitely causes it.

You can actually use chu chu jelly to weaken gibdos! Just regular chu jelly.

On Gibdos, litterly ANY type of elemental attack, whether it be water or fire or ice, breaks the Gibdo's armor.

Also, if you have taken gloom damage, but then eat a hearty meal, when you go under a lightroot, when the broken hearts are restored, the golden hearts are used up to heal.
I love using Mineru because you can destroy ore deposits in 1 hit even with nothing attached, and you can jump from her and enter bullet time, I always use her for Lynels (but won't prevent damage if you get hit)
@@isaacshillingford3413It's definitely 1 hit, I was sick of wasting durability on ore deposits and using Yunobo sends the ores flying everywhere, using Mineru is the best option (unless the ceiling is too low)

The first one is true. Link will dish out fireballs instead of throwing the boomerang. Same thing with the respective gems and their powers.
Using a rock for the steering stick thing is the easiest
And funniest
if you go to the floating colleseum and put travel medallions in the silver and blue lynel spots you can teleport back after a blood moon, throw an ancient arrow at both of them, and then when you come back to the colleseum the other three all release at once

With the steering stick one, I flew around on my hoverbike for long enoguh for the fans to disappear. When they did I was just left falling on the steering stick. That did cancel fall damage. But yeah I don't think you can just ride a steering stick alone, it has to be attached to something at first, but even if what it's attached to goes away you'll stay on it.
