It’s the Xythos pinfire revolver, My grandfather gave it to me 20 years ago.
sold eBay 450-600 🤑
Better call that Marine back and give him some more money!
The small pistol is made in Austria. The brand name is Xythos. It is a blank gun. People have placed a single “number 12” birdshot in the pinfire cartridge ammo and it can be somewhat dangerous (mama said that you will shoot your eye out.
The Vietnam era Marine vet is awesome. He has a lifetime of experiences and is an unsung hero.
Yes sir thank you for the guys service.
Wasn't the US getting involved in that not even necessary since it had nothing to do with them?
I loved him. Sometimes I feel for them having to sell their stuff for a hundred bucks man… sad times
those brave men and women who did their job came home stateside and got no greeting, recognition or a thanks for your service. 9,521 merchant marine did in WW2 39-45 they helped delivery supplies like ammo, equipment, food etc and even troops. The merchant marine had the highest casualties rate of any severce in WW2 and they didn't get their benefits or even get recognised until 1982 for their service.

The little gun is a pinfire 2mm. It's for sale right now for $420. After you sell it, you should call the old guy back and give him a little more money.
My dad passed away last year (2023) from agent orange he was a vietnam veteran. Door gunner, he left me some cool personal items from his time there.
Thankful for his service 🫡
sorry to hear. so is that stuff like asbestos where you can get cancer years later or?
Condolences.
@@ToddyTornado That is what happened to him he got cancer of lungs because of it.
God bless you're brave father, young man. And I want to thank him for his Service!
I'm a retired disabled vet. I was a tank commander. I was with 1st of the 1st Cavalry Regiment in Germany. We patrolled a southern section of the West German/Czechoslovakian border.
Agent Orange victims got jilted! They had to fight this injustice to get recognized. The VA should've paid up immediately!
That's no cap gun. Cap guns shoot NO projectile, this gun is a pin gun most likely 1.5mm to 2mm bore DOES fire a projectile. These are hundreds of dollars if they're of quality origin
That Marine got scammed!
@@panda4757nah, he just made a bad deal. he had every opportunity to research what he had ahead of time, and he had the chance to negotiate a higher price. he didn't, he agreed, signed a contract, and left smiling. that's far from being scammed.
That Marine Vet is a cool guy.
Agree
Thank you
What an amazing man he is, that’s a real great man right there, they don’t make em like they used too!
(Xythos)
SwissMiniGun is the smallest revolver that can shoot live ammunition, and it has been recognized by the Guinness Book of Records. It’s a replica of the “Colt Python” manufactured in Switzerland. Although there are smaller single-shot pistols made by private individuals, they don’t match the functionality of the SwissMiniGun. It has a six-shot mechanism, only 23% of the original size.
On the other hand, the “Xythos” revolver is even smaller with a 2mm caliber, 40mm length, 28mm height, and a weight of 14 grams. However, it’s designed for shooting skyrockets and is considered a sporting gun. You can also attach a unique accessory on the barrel of the Xythos to shoot pin cartridges. Despite its small size, it’s an impressive firearm.
i love the content i love how truthful you are as a business. this is the real pawn shop no glitz no glamour real people making real deals
When the Vietnam vet said “ You got it “ my heart just melted ! 🥰🫶🏽🥰
Another awesome video Pete, always fascinated by all the interaction you have with your customers and staff! God Bless and stay Safe!😊
My grandpa had a bunch of lighters from Vietnam with his squadrons and ships he was on. I have all of them and I love them dearly
The Rancilio thing I'm pretty sure is an espresso tamper (makes the coffee grounds more compact for making espresso). Rancilio is a machine brand.
Came here to say this. Def an espresso tamper
The best channel on TH-cam 🏆
love the old timer with all the chicago sports knowledge. always good to have a guy like that around the shop.
You are such a kind man, and a patriot to boot. 👌
that vet needs to keep the flags coming! im sure the crowd will love to support and buy these awesome pieces.
I really liked the old Marine! My son just retired with 21 years!🤗🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you for his service.
2003- 2024?
@@justing9528 for foreign wars ? Did they found WMDs in Iraq ? All lies.
congratulations to your son and many thanks!
I just found this channel. Love it. I grew up in McHenry in the 70's and 80's. Lived right on the Fox River. My dad worked at Oak Industries in Crystal Lake. Ah, those were the days.
I respect you for showing that Vietnam guy so much appreciation and respect you didn’t really need any of that stuff but you did it just to make the guy feel good. Made respect !
Pete, you are a class act all the way! Always treating each & every person with the utmost respect. Queef it real!
The gun is with between 400 to 500 dollars
I searched “ world smallest cap gun “ and found the manufacturer and they go for a couple hundred dollars. Looks like they have several models. I didn’t research too far because I’m flying right now. I agree with one comment about a #12 bird shot pellet. Love the videos.
Pete, the way you edited the intro part, I thought that Vietnam vet was going to break down and cry but he didn't.
As a cirrca 1980's Aussie kid I remeber these cap guns but sadly I have no info on in it we had some cool stuff here in the 80's stuff now days woulnt even be allowed! Caps guns in their hundreds!! was soo much fun Ty for the Memorys! What buggered it was some kid went blind ofc
5:02 welcome home soldier. Thank you for your service. 🇺🇸
Trying on the sweatshirt and then trying to get it off was hilarious!
Look forward to vids ! Thanks
The Gameboy Advance by itself is selling for from $80- $150
That Vet Deno (not sure if i spelled it right) reminds me so much of my grandfather who is also a Vietnam Vet. Thanks for your service!
The cap gun is most likely called the xythos tilting barrel revolver or some variation of that. They should be worth $500 or more depending on condition. It may be made by a different company or a different model, but mine is very similar.
My father was a gunsmith and he had an identical tiny cap gun like that,,,it was super old,,his he had when he was a kid in the 40's,,,i remember he said his dad got it for him when they went to the circus in St Louis,,,never heard it fire because he lost the caps for it,,,said the caps were in a tiny paper box like a matchbox...I wish i could ask him more about it but he passed away a couple years ago....good luck with everything Peter 🎉 and maybe when i visit family in Naperville ill drive up there and say hi
How come you use so many commas instead of just one? Just curious. Is it a writing style you adopted?
@@thesadwolf i guess i do it just to seperate points so thay its easier to read, its incorrect i know lol
@@christianleeabracadabraaci4526 That is what a period is for.
Haha thanks teacher, what can i say? im just lazy,,i have a degree in English literature and a minor in music theory im not retarded,,dont you have anything better to do today than sitting around critquing peoples spelling and punctuation😆
@@christianleeabracadabraaci4526 Geez, I was asking nicely...I wasn't being a dick. You didn't need to follow up with all that crap. It's a style, I find nothing wrong with that. Relax...
That vet is such a cute kind man. God bless him
Bonus points for the postcard from Duff's in NYC.
I like this channel 👍😀
Nice content and no shouting or anything like that.
Greetings from the netherlands in Europe and please keep making content like this 😀
The veteran seems like an awesome guy
Love the channel keep it up pete and team
Sweet find on the pin fire gun. Those can get pricey depending on the maker
My thanks go out to this man. He has probably seen some things that none of us should see.
Pete looked like a red Gumby in that super tight red hooded sweatshirt jacket, 😊😅, lol.
That snare drum turned out fantastic. I'm a LUDWIG drummer.
I play my 11 piece, 1989 LUDWIG ROCKERS. They still look and sound awesome.
I have tons of Rocker snare drums, and I would love to buy that snare drum, but I cant afford it now.
It might be already sold .❤
Great job Pete and the team.
Peace.
I have a friend who was on a metal detecting show on discovery. He was on 3 shows for them. One was a show called Dig Wars.
Hey Pete, right on man 😀
Wish I could get one of those craiglist hunter shirts, both designs are nice :)
Vets are the best
Hi from Finland that gun is a real gun, the caps have a small pin on them and they are blanks but you could in the past get a real bullet to fire from it. James Bond had a similar gun as a tie clip, but yours is a lot nicer, great buy fella.
Dont worry pete ill send you a bigher buckeyes shirt lol glad yo see himnin the scrallett and grey
Pete, you guys are the best!
Even if you don't make a deal, it's still fun to watch.
That little tiny revolver was a steal for $10
Peter will made it right!🤗🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@Moleinholeyea he better, totally took advantage of the vet,
.
He didn't take advantage of him.
@@silverzales1980 Can't take advantage of if you don't know what your buying. Vet should have known what he was selling.
@@duckhunter8387 right , the vet did his job he kept you alive and in a free world, now he’s getting taken … stop your games
Hello Ruby and Honey ❤ Mrs Waters too!
Mrs. Walters I believe has a large vocabulary but I never hear anything eagle
That little cap gun is super cute.
Hiya I love your channel and watch daily! I'm in Sheffield South Yorkshire UK 🇬🇧 so wondered if you ship your merch worldwide? Much love to you all...your fans over the pond! ❤❤❤🦜🐱
I am in UK...love this shop..we get charged extra import tax from USA...I think it's 20% plus handling fee and vat !!
Peter, Thanks for the service and knowledge you provide. Ignore the negativity Nancy's.
I had one as a kid that would take old flat caps. It was a keychain style one.
Woww that cqp gun is so freaken awesome
Putting in the work...
This i like,my last name is OLSEN :) And a good greeting from Norway Pete, great show :)
glad the honey and ruby shirts are big sellers, as their agent we need all the sales we can get cause seeds and nip are getting expensive with all this inflation geesh
Those caps are called pin fire…it is modeled after a 1830s French pin fire revolver
Xythos Miniature
Revolver. On Worthpoint. Ranges from $100-400.
perfect vid
Pete love you’re videos!
Pete, I love your videos!
Pete. I had a little gun similar too that. Caps are to old too fire.will not do anything but fall apart. My little gun had less parts. And made a good sized noise .
I owned two of those little guns when I was a kid. We got them from a Vietnamese store in canada
it be cool if we could get a close up view of the items you are interested in !
It reminds me an old school gun a novelty. Looks like a gum ball cap gun you would buy in a gum ball machine from the 80s.
That 'weight' is an espresso press you use to pack the espresso in the basket before brewing.
I want one of those black Pete Trading Post shirts lol
The chinese Baoding balls in that satin case ... I have the exact ones but with golden balls from my grandfather
Had 2 of them cap guns key ring guns nice
Yes Google vintage pinfire guns Austria, there’s a lot on them
Xythos gun found on internet. You can buy ammo too. Pricey! Cool
XYTHOS Two-Millimeter Penfire. Recent sold on eBay for 497.00
I believe the airpods were real. The 2023 pros came out with usb-c and had a closed picture on the back. The 2022 was lightning and the case was open on the back.
For the cap gu. I think u pull the trigger back and quickly let it go but if ur ammo is 50 years old who knows if it will fire depending how it was stored.
I can’t be sure but I think the steel weight is a tamper for tamping espresso.
It is , I own one. The Name is a Brand of expresso machines
I want that wood flag
Sometimes, I give a thumbs up before I even watch the video. Based upon the title. This is one of those times.
MINI XYTHOS AUTOMATIC 6 SHOT 2MM PINFIRE
They used to have those pinfires in gumball machines back in the 70's/ 80's but you would go through a ton of quarters until you get the one that is actually in there.
holy cow the memory on that other customer that was rattling off players!
The BB guns sell very good on eBay. I have sold a handful. And that exact on also.
6:30 is a espresso tamper as a few below have pointed out.
15:23 you can still buy those little cap guns and ammo online
The jersey was made to fit over shoulder pads, could be why it seems larger than a standard xl
That bird got so lucky lol
The Rancillo thingy is a tamper for an espresso machine.
How come you guys never go live during the day at the shop? would be cool to see
"Aw naw c'mon K, you get a Series 4 Deatomizer and I get a little midget Cricket?"
"its Designed for something" had me laughing so hard.... we all know
You can still get the 2mm caps online.
That little gun is worth some money i did some research and i seen a website selling that same gun for $300 to $500
lol i can barely find a good value but the range i saw for the xythos pinfire if its not a novelty one or replica and was made in austria(non-gold ones) would been about 250-325 or so(i knocked down the price from 350 for top end since no one was biting at the auction i saw). since this guy does half he is looking at 125-160.(if its novelty its bad news, those dont go much, around 25-35)(i knocked few dollars off of top end after my halving too in order to adjust for flat price and not have cents involved)
Of course " Pawn Stars " is Fake! Does anyone really think Chumley knows all about the items brought in??? LOL!!
Very nice shop
I wonder how Vicky is doing?
Not bad ⚡️
30:54 My pet peeve the whole time that Kid was trying to do a deal with that guy the old guy with the glasses on kept on interfering that is such a piss off I’ve dealt with people like that before very unprofessional
that Rancillo thing is a espresso puk tamper ...
The two chunks of steel the Vet brought in, was one an espresso press?
