    To be honest I was never a potential customer for the H1. Too much for me to warrant for the amount of time I use an H pattern. This however if it actually feels good in sequential mode I am seriously considering purchasing. The lower cost and better value proposition of having two shifters in one as well as of course the sheer beauty of the workmanship. The truly is impressive! Great work Gentlemen!

    Great stuff; love to see customer feedback being taken on board in new products.
    I managed to pick up a used H1 for a great price a few days before the launch of the H1SQ (knowing that it was coming out). It's a beautifully solid thing.
    Having played with it a bit I've already prototyped a replacement hall-effect PCB to replace the 3D-printed inserts and tactile switches. It's a much simpler assembly. It sounds like you guys have done the same with the new SQ.
    In combination with a microcontroller, this also gives analogue feedback over position rather than just on/off, which will facilitate the implementation of active lock-out and other effects, which I'm playing with at the moment. The design of the H1 really allows for extensive customisation. I'm delighted I was able to get one.

    Is the build quality the same as the original shifter or with the dual mode the shifter is more like the little brother to the original?

    Can anyone explain the Mechanical Motorsport Feedback that they market for this shifter? Does this simulate gear grind with a poorly timed shift or something like that?

    • @BDHRaceSimHardware
      @BDHRaceSimHardware  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Possibly. We are working on another project, which hopefully will negate the need for "active" simulation as it will naturally provide these effects mechanically.

    if the shifting feeling in both modes is even half as good as this shifter looks i'm sold on it. cant beat a 2 in 1 in such a beautiful and small package for half as much as prosim stuff, killer product for sure!

    Such a great product especially since NASCAR Cup cars are now sequential, while XFinity and Trucks remain H-pattern. I'm fed up with the mess of having two shifters on my rig, so it's definitely on my shortlist.

    To me the big improvement has to be the mounting plate. Assuming you wont have to mess with the electronics anymore to sidemount it.
    On the other hand, I know having a sequential mode is a very hot feature, but I cant figure why. Not only does dual-mode shifters have a history of performing poorly with either sequential or h-pattern, but chances are those who can afford your products very likely already own a dedicated sequential shifter for that reason.
    I am one of these persons and I’d really like what I would dub the H2S, which would basically be the H1SQ but exclusively set up for sidemounting by default and ommits the sequential shifter.
