- This is a mid week break at Golden Sands, Mablethorpe. Monday to Friday the deal is called a Haven hideaway. We booked a bronze caravan because it has central heating as March can be a cold month. We payed £97 for a four night break Monday to Friday. We were meeting friends Trevor and Pat from life on the run.

wouldnt go back to golden sands-allthough letdown was the facalities tbf and maplethorpe was pants -but plus sign was the beck-absolute fab place
Hi Georgina, I have memories from being a kid, I thought it would be a good place with kids. The beck was good although I’ve not been for a while.
Hi Graham and Wendy you do not need to go up and down the steps to Beach there is a slope that lead to the Beach this located facing the main Entrance to Haven Golden Sands

Hi Hans, we get these caravans out of season when it’s cheaper. I feel when I had a young family I would have loved to see the caravan’s and parks before I booked. Plus a bit of fooling about. Thank you 👋👋👋👋👍

As we were getting ready to leave home Wendy remember it’s pitch black in the night and the spot lights burn your eyes 😂😂😂😂😂 take a light with you 🥰😘👍 also an electric candle is nice😉

That was a good price guy’s, we thought about a static, before deciding on the van, maybe in 10 or so years might go down that route.🙏👍👊🏴
The yearly ground rent price always stopped me Steve. We’ve got one in Norfolk soon £69 for four days it’s not worth me towing. Pat loved it. 👏👏👏👌👍
@@grahamgetsabout2672 yeah our old static was £3000 per year ground rent and I bet they are more expensive now, £69 is a great price and like you said not worth towing, I can see pat loving a static,I loved spending time at ours, the other issue for me is where.? I think it would need to be residential on a farm for Lorna to like living in one 😝

We went to golden sands when the kids were little, but I can never recall finding puffs under the dining table 😊

Hi Paul the caravan was great and free gas and electric so the cosori cooked even cheaper than at home. The sea looked freezing 🥶 that was enough for me.😂😂😂😂👍
