I have to say the chrome on the hilt really adds some beauty to what is a rather basic lightsaber. Also some background for this hilt, both in and out of universe. In-universe this was the hilt Revan built when he was originally a Jedi. He used it throughout the Mandalorian Wars and into his time as a Sith. It is possible he built a second lightsaber, but given the only proof we have of it, from as far as I know, is in KOTOR 2 in a vision, the vision could have been an inaccurate portrayal. Not to mention the vision was showing the Jedi Exile's possible future as Revan's Shadow Hand, which by that point would be six or more years since Revan was a Sith. After he was captured by the Jedi Strike team and Bastila, the events between the capture and KOTOR 1 happen. I wont spoil much, from here on out, so you can get the complete experience (unlike me, as I knew what was coming) but Revan did build a second lightsaber after losing his first one and this is the lightsaber we see him use in SWTOR. (And the one he uses in KOTOR 1.) This hilt looked a lot more like the Star Forge. He used it for the rest of his life, changing the colours at different times as well. in KOTOR 1 it could be blue, green or yellow, depending on his Jedi Class. (Also note Sith in that game still use the Jedi Class system. For example, in the game Darth Malak is a Jedi Guardian.) And possibly switched it out for the Heart Of The Guardian or Mantle Of The Force crystal. During the Revan novel he used green and in SWTOR he used purple. On his original lightsaber, the one in this video, he started off with blue. Used purple sometimes but for the most part stuck to blue. When he became a Sith he switched to red. And now out of universe, the hilt is the hilt for the standard lightsaber hilts in both KOTOR games. Short lightsabers (which are basically just Shoto's, they just refer to them as short lightsabers.) and double-bladed lightsabers tend to also have their own design shared between them all. And the double-bladed lightsaber in the KOTOR games is also Bastila's lightsaber design. So essentially, almost all Jedi are using Revan and Bastila's lightsabers haha.
So, is it standard for each sound font to have a certain assigned color? Or can that be changed? I mean let's say I wanted the same color but with different sound fonts, like what you would do with either a saberforge or ultra saber.
It can be changed! They all come with sound fonts pre installed and the colors are with those fonts. You can also change the color to anything you like in the settings. As long as you get a saber you should be able to do that!
