    No way! another brilliant guest. I went to the U.S for the first time a few years ago and met Jonathan at one of his gigs. He was very kind and welcoming, as were his band mates. I really appreciated that. He is a big hero of mine. You were the same when I met you once, Josh. Means a lot!

    Josh, thank you Sir for this great interview. There are not many good interviewers out there, you certainly are one of the very few very good ones.

    I'm from Miami. My teacher was also a UM guy. Jon was not a super nice dude back then. Super duper cocky. A tad demeaning. I wasn't alone with this experience. I'm glad to see him being gracious and kind. People grow. :) Monstrous player!!

    Was Vincent Bredice the famous guitarist in Miami who wrote Mel Bay books you were thinking about? I learned about him through Frank Axtell, a really nice guy and great guitarist I took six months of lessons from before I ended up having a couple of strokes that wiped out my left hand and arm for most of a decade. Memory permanently screwed and left arm 90%, but loving being a hack more than ever!
    Love these videos Josh, great insight, thanks!
    Most people don't have the time to develop their own sound, they just want to learn to play their favorite songs. Most people start out that way and for most people who don't make a career out of it, that's where it ends...with fun.

      @utube321piortr no social media platform owes anyone the right to say whatever they want. They are allowed to censor things as they should. Hate speech and conspiracy theories don’t belong on the internet. Jump over to what you think will be unmonitored but you are just fooling yourself. Every keystroke we make is traceable.

      @@nicolesmith5684 it is important to NOT break the law; however big tech has no business in pretending to be the government and adjudicating the law - it is not their role, in case you didn't notice the big tech is fighting a political/ideological war and this is the reason they surveil and censor people; I have many favorite non-political channels that I follow on youtube and I would like to enjoy seeing them elsewhere once I say good bye and logout of all google products such as youtube, is that too much to ask? Take a look at an alternative search engine duckduckgo.com/ which does a far better job of letting you find what you need without forcing upon you a particular steering "search agenda" designed by collecting prior personal data about you

    • @nicolesmith5684
      @nicolesmith5684 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @utube321piortr we clearly have different views on this and I’m not going to go back and forth. Nobody has forced you to use any “big tech” product and they have every right to do with their company as they see fit as they are private companies. I actually use the search engine you refer to and have for years. However, it doesn’t bother me for one second that any social media company wants to limit what is said on their platform. Especially when it is lies and causes nothing but hate within the country I live in. Free speech doesn’t apply there. The constitution is clear on where it applies and you nor anyone else has the right to decide what the constitution can now cover. Private companies can do as they please - it is why they are private.
