Most of the songs on Diamonds in the Rough weren't quite ready for album release and it shows. Songs like Crossroads, while having some very solid ideas and being not all that bad, don't quite feel finished> Except this one. This song is fucking fire. Why this got passed over for the album release I'll never know.
I don't know if it's because I'm so used to the actual self-titled but when you listen an album you notice all the songs have at least one thing in common that makes you connect them in your mind. I love this song too but I feel it wouldn't have fit in the self titled
Having listened the whole A7x discography a thousand times I think this song sounds more city of evil or nightmare themed (or even the stage), the solos remind me of the stage and city of evil, the chorus city of evil and the after-solo reminds me of nightmare (more exactly buried alive)

This song just flows so well. I love the upped presence of the bass and the guitars sound so much more active. Shadows is at the top of his game and The Rev never disappoints.
I have loved these guys since their earliest...RIP REV! but absolutely our guitarists never let down musically. Shadows without a scream, yet voice still in check. All of them actually
