- Diamonds In The Rough was originally released on CD in 2008 as part of the DVD+CD release “Live in the LBC/Diamonds in the Rough”. It is a compilation of b-sides recorded during the making of the band’s self-titled 2007 debut, rarities, covers and other non-album tracks. The 2020 vinyl and digital release of the album has been remastered and is expanded by 5 tracks, featuring the unreleased track “Set Me Free” (recorded during the “Hail To The King” sessions). It also includes other hard-to-find tracks such as the fan-favorite “St, James”, “4AM” and “Lost It All”. The 16 track album also includes the band’s cover of Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid”, which originally came out in 2009 on the Warner Bros album “Covered”. The vinyl is released on limited edition clear vinyl.

The meaning of the song Demons - Avenged Sevenfold is about someone who wants to live a better life but he keeps falling and falling into the same sin. This frustrated him and felt that there was a demon nearby which caused him to commit the same sin.

That song hit me so hard growing up and it just kept getting removed I’m so fucking happy that they decided to release the songs after all the years so I can hear this album in its true quality. Avenged sevenfold is the metal band that got me to like metal as it is my second favorite metal band, it fills me with great joy when they release a new album and some unknown/underrated songs from their deep archives.

Same. They got me into metal and they've remained at the top of my list ever since. I know there are better bands out there, but I remain loyal to these guys because they really are an amazing band. Their success speaks for itself and they're still one of the best metal bands of the last 20 years. Or at least one of the most recognizable, that's for sure.

Discovered this band back in high school, I’m halfway through college now and god these guys never disappoint! One of my all time favorite bands!

How does he play that fill at 5:02? Not asking as in like "wow how does he do that" as in I really want to know how he plays that so I can try and learn it, that sounds crazy, it sounds almost like your standard RLRL on hands then RL on feet but the feet sorta speed up and trip out of time, giving it a super rushed and hectic feel until the nice evenly spaced snare hits.
