3:42 I think they're showing it with the sprue still attached, it looks like they even just finished painting them since there's some ink on the the towel it's sitting on.
Yeah, that's what I thought. But I think that the sprew is also seen in box. Maybe it's just because it's such a small accessory and they had to do it that way.
I hope they do a Sabine next and a new Anakin.. maybe even Ahsoka from the Clone Wars flash back in the show. Bandai doesn't normally do deep cuts like Mafex though so it might be a pipe dream.
That's not a new Tamashii stage. The bases on all Tamashii stages have spots to add more arms. Three in total. I also doubt the figure will need the stands to support the lightsabers and they're just being careful. Anyway, I think Figuarts easily has the best looking faces, where Mafex got the detail on the costume better. So, as an irresponsible person, I just decided to get both. 😅
@@Naniganz I did the same thing 😅 I know about the bases of their stands, I have few of them, but I never saw these arms or maybe I did. I don't even know anymore. 😅
@@HasBruce Oh yeah, they will have to make that version for sure. Hasbro is just doing it first but these other companies will join them sooner or later.
I thought it was region-specific licensing, but then I'm not sure why BBTS would have Mafex but not SHF. Maybe Mafex pays slightly higher licensing to sell in the US?
@@ActionDisplayChannel oops I mean region-specific Star Wars license. Other SHF lines are fine, but I think Hasbro has some degree of exclusive license to sell Star Wars toys in the US.
There has been a lot of bad press about this cloak, I really hope it's something that can be worked with. I hate when these soft goods are too stiff and unatural looking.
this looks a lot better than the mafex one. excited!
definitely waiting on a review first, i was going to get the mafex ahsoka but after seeing the reviews I decided to hold off
Looks great! Still on the fence though about getting it due to the cost. I'll probably hold off until I see your review and comparison to the Mafex.
That is understandable. i agree that the price is too high. I'll do my best to give you as much info as I can so that you can decide.
I hope this is a new Anakin or at least the same body with a new head
Can't wait to get mine. I do hope they release an updated Anakin, wasn't a huge fan of their ROTS one.
I'd be so happy even if they reuse the RoTS body and update the faces. I've steered clear of their RoTS because the faces are Terrible 😱
@@pletho79 Yup same, there was pretty much nothign wrong with him outside the face sculpts.

@@DtLS It's definitely a sprue, yes.
The thing between the broken map is definitely just sprew. I doubt it will be in the box.

The sprue is just there so we don't lose the parts. Just like a model kit, we probably need to cut the parts loose.

The Figuarts face sculpts look better, but I wonder about the height of the figure. I need to see how it scales with Black Series.
I'll make the comparisson video for all 3 as soon as I get this one.

Imma need that shf anakin, wish for a better likeness, cause black series is taking ages...
I think hasbro are holding off for rots anniversary next year
I think the black series Ashoka from the 3pk is good enough, but I might be tempted for an Ashoka the White from SHF or Mafex.
@@HasBruce Oh yeah, they will have to make that version for sure. Hasbro is just doing it first but these other companies will join them sooner or later.
Do you know why site like bbts don't have bandai's star wars figure anymore ?
@@xenalien355 Oh wow, I didn't even know that that's the case. I don't know why they don't have them.
i tried looking a bit ago for those figures but found none. what happened to em?

@@Albertk96 Yes, I saw how it looks. I'll see what I can do with it for a posing video. I hope it can be molded a bit better.
I think Black Series is better than this, Hasbro wins this round for me
