I have carried for 43 years. 14 years in the Military/25+ years as a State Trooper (SWAT) now retired 11 years. I carried S&W, SIG, Glock, Colt, Springfield professionally and I now carry a SIG P365x Macro every day...and love IT!!

Man I can’t thank you enough for taking time and doing this video. This was extremely helpful for me. Ended up going with the Tacops and I absolutely love it. Extremely soft shooter. Shot the comped version and this and honestly the difference like you said is ever so slight, you can barely tell. Super happy with this buy. This video was a massive help in making my decision, extremely thankful man!
Definitely shoots softer. Especially when range day is 1-2x per week, 200 rounds per session. Rapid follow-up shots are easier/more accurate as well. I have all the versions.
@@JB-ej8zy if you have the money, the comp version is a no brainer. Make sure you clean the comp portion after shooting each time because when it builds up a lot, it becomes very difficult to chip out all the carbon. @@alexwalker5645 I always wear in-ear and over-the-ear hearing protection simultaneously, so I don’t hear much difference from one gun to another. The red dot does not dirty up any more than other guns. Red dot optics usually dirty up due to lube from the ejection port area, not the end of the barrel. FWIW, switching to a closed emitter was the best decision in a long time. Nothing is ever thrown up into my face from the comp.
Just bought the tac ops version I got big hands tried the other version s the tac ops fits my hand better very happy with the purchase and getting 4 mag's that's nice as well thanks for taking the time and showing all there model's most helpful
I bought my macro when it came out. Only 2 mags. I’m salty of the current 3 mag rebate. Tac ops with 4 mags, another 3 from rebate you’re set on mags! Illinois is not legal to buy anything beyond 15 rounds anymore.
Good luck with the rebate. Sig screwed me over on their last one. Sent in all the documentation and they never fulfilled it. I contacted them three times and the rep said to just wait. A year later and still nothing.
I ended up going with the base model because I didn’t feel the need for the comp nor did I really want it. It’s a flat shooter without it and I like the longer barrel. Got mine for $649 and sig had a rebate where I got 3 extra mags free. 5 mags total which for the price I think I got a killer deal. I’ll just ad the extended slide stop and magwell and basically have the tac ops but for less and 1 extra mag. And I can always just buy an XL grip if I want to carry it iwb instead of owb like I am now.
How long ago did you buy yours because the price has dropped since I posted this. When I got mine the tacops was still in the mid $700s so that’s why I said I could upgrade mine for less than that for what I paid.
Considering getting the Macro Comp slide on my Wilson Combat XL frame. I love the concealability of the XL grip, with the 14 + 1 capacity with the magguts extensions.
I grabbed the tac ops for the xtra mags and features. Just made sense financially to pay a little up front to save it later. That being said I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the 3. Threw a 507k on mine and haven’t looked back. Fantastic cc weapon. I carry owb year round in an upper hand concealment holster. Wonderful “little” combo. Great video for those that haven’t made a decision yet!
I have the base model. Just didnt want a comp on my edc. It shoots great. Its accurate. Capacity is amazing. Over 1000 rounds now and not one malfunction. Love it. Id recommend any of these handguns though.
@lukerichards6810 I'm a bigger guy but I do. I tried a few holsters and the jx tactical fat boy holster with the clip to let it hang a little lower makes in comfortable for me. I also have an upperhand owb holster I use in colder months. I can wear it with gym shorts with the jx.
The base also can come with a safety, which can be a game changer for some. I grew up with safeties so I wanted one. I got the base with a safety and it’s an awesome firearm!
They sell a safety for $50. Just need to do a small cutout on the grip. Was waiting for them to release macro comp with safety but looks like not releasing seperate sku for and just letting people install is the path they are going for
Got the Xmacro a few days ago and am shooting it today. I have had the p365 for a few years.... every day carry. Needing to get a Don Hume soft leather holster for this bigger unit since I wear shorts and live in Florida, so skin chaffe on hard plastic is an issue.
As a 5’9, 160 lbs man, I carry IWB my xmacro base version.. it’s easily concealable but the grip texture, while it feels good in had, it will irritate the hell out of your stomach… but honestly, due to how thin it is, anyone can easily carry this IWB… thanks for the video! Great job!
I have found that the Radian Backstrap and Magwell are almost must have upgrades to any P365 with an XMacro grip! It makes the grip feel totally different!
You are the only person I have found to compare all three models I'm interested in (most talk about the x macro, but are really reviewing the comp). Thank you. Based on your review, I have decided to get the X Macro. I like the longer barrel, the lack of a flared mag well and the capacity of 17 rnds. I also don't need 4 mags because this is an off duty carry.
Thanks for the video. I bought the base model and then found out about the comp version. I had slight buyers remorse but your video helped tremendously.
I picked up the X Macro comp and after 800 rounds(zero malfunctions)I found that the comp just wasn’t for me. The shorter barrel ballistics which might be negligible and the upward blast of gas just got in my head so I traded it for the X Macro TAC Ops and love it. 1000 rounds(zero malfunctions).very accurate and I could not tell the difference in recoil vs the comp model. The 2 extra mags and the extended mag well and extended slide stop are worth the extra $100. Your video is spot on and the very best Sig Xmacro video on TH-cam or anywhere. Thank you!
I purchased the 365x macro non comped version with the 1911 safety. I’ve heard the 3.1”comped barrel does not open up hollow points as well. I put on a Holosun 407k on mine. Love it! A great shooter. It is my edc and I carry owb. I can cover it with a loose fitting tshirt easily
Watching the video i can clearly see the reduction in recoil from the comp version vs the basic macro. Now, talking from experience with both, when rapid firing both these firearms, the comp version gets back down to the site picture way quicker than the basic macro, and with a lot less effort. If you target shoot it doesn't matter, but if you are into rapid firing with accuracy, get the comp version.
I purchased the .380 Version. It had the compact frame design on it so I bought a XL lower and it works! I wanted an XMacro grip but I can't find any large enough magazines for .380....Either way the P365 is so modular I could just buy a 9mm slide assembly and some 9mm mags to make it work!
I got the tacops and love it!! There was also a promotional 3 free extra mags from sig (7 total). Holosun sight and I couldn’t be happier!! Nice review btw!!
Thanks for this video! I've been trying to decide which P365 version to go with and you broke each model down very simply. I'm going with the Tac Ops. Thanks again!
Your video was very informative and appreciated. I just bought the base model MACRO but was not sure I made the right choice. Was on the opinion that I wanted the comp and just couldn’t bring myself to spending the money. After your video and not really a great advantage with the COMP I’m glad I got what I got. Look forward to more of your videos.
Love this video. Just got to handle the macro x Tac Ops today for the first time. It's definitely a nice pistol, but maybe for giggles you could do a side by side of that vs the walther PDP-F?
I have the TACOPS. I love it. - Upgraded from my Taurus G2C. The mag well, the X-ray sights, the extra mags that came with… I also like the auto chambering of a round, when I push in the mag. It’s slick. I shoot rather well with my Xmacro, over my G2C. The only drawback I’ve found, is that holster manufacturers have not include the Xmacro in their lineups… I love Blackhawk holsters. I used their CQC with my Taurus… They don’t have a CQC for the Xmacro. Most other OWB options, I cannot find any level 2 holsters. The 365 is not the same as the 365Xmacro. So, count that as the only downside I’ve found.
IMO, a lot of the recoil mitigation is in the grip module design as much as the slide porting. I have the original X-Macro Comp and have updated a couple XL's to X-Macros. Bought the new XL slide which is the TacOps slide and base model slide. Also bought a True Precision Axiom slide which has the same forward located optics cut. One advantage with the TacOps and Base model is that you can add a threaded barrel - which to can't do with the comp. They machine that slide so that 3.1" is the longest barrel that will work in the Comp version. Those threadeed barrels are 4.3 inches in length, moving the X-Macro into more of a slim compact class than a 'micro nine'.
I actually just purchased the Xmacro Comp a couple of days ago. My first firearm. Planning on tactical training in some months. I really appreciate your reviews on all these as this is the firearm I've settled on after months of research. At the end of the day, I want to enjoy shooting the weapon at the range for practice and decided on the comp due to that. Perhaps it's not the best option, as you've stated, but I still am happy with my choice. However, I did not know of the RomeoX and now that's on my list for purchase for later. Thank you and keep up the awesome content.
Base P365 or plain 365 FCU. Then take FCU add to Icarus Precision X-Evo with RH offset mag release, change trigger to GrayGuns Adjustable curved or straight (your preference better reset), M Carbo Striker kit (lightens up that trigger pull and reset). I use the X Macro Comp slide, add Romeo or Holosun Red Dot and it is sill concealable but will run like a champ with significant less recoil. It's quicker and easier to get back on the target. Match up your magazines if you live in a free state or in a non-free state. You can shoot 10, 12, 15 or 17 round magazines. Mag Guts for 10 or 12 to go to 12 to 14 round magazine. Bundles on base pistol may allow you to save some magazine money. I run a 12 round flush magazine with Magguts for 14+1 and 2- 17 round backup magazines. This is a Free State rig, 3 10's in the commie states.
i have both the comp. and tacops. love em both. :) Tacops for home defense and comp. for carry. no noticeable difference in accuracy. Thanks for the review brother. always a good one.
I bought the TacOps, I liked getting 4 mags and the mag well! I now have a 365, X,Xl, and the Macro. I’ve always been a hard core Glock guy, but I really enjoy these Sigs. Still love my Glock’s also!
Based on your comment. I'm torn between the Macro TacOps and the Gen 5 Glock 26. The Glock 26 with OEM 15-round mags with xGrip & Pierce Pinky Extensions for the 3 mags that come with it. I already own the 365-X. I'm looking for something in-between my Glock 45 & 365-X and don't want to buy both. Your thoughts? Thanks!
I’ve never liked the Glock 26, it just doesn’t fit my hand, I would suggest the Sig TacOps, 17 round mags in a small package. Optics ready, and a 1913 light rail, I really like mine.
@@Mike-ox1bu skip the 26.. had one about 10yrs ago.. too fat and short. Modern slim guns have rendered it outdated.. its not really a stable grip when longer mags are used.. there is too much wobble in the added extensions and they will pinch your skin.. i would suggest a firearm that is made with a 3finger length grip without extensions.. I believe the pinky isnt and shouldnt be a part of your shooting grip, but when there are cracks and gaps there its annoying and looks junky..
I have the XL and the Macro Comp. I decided that because the Macro has a larger grip I would use the XL slide and barrel on it for the longer barrel, and the Macro slide on the XL since the grip is smaller and it felt snappier. I love that I can just swap them around! I am having my slides cerakote'd next! If you are on the fence, get the Macro. It has a standard rail and you dont have to use an adapter to use a light. I have Wilson Combat grip modules on both. The Macro had too aggressive stipling which would case a friction burn on my body when carrying it.
@@coyoteodie4458 , slides are the same overall length, but the comp has a slightly shorter barrel inside the slide. The comp is just machined into the slide of the comp.
I already had two XLs, so I just picked up a macro frame to change one out. XL is still the perfect size carry for me, but having the macro frame is really nice.
I did the same. I picked up the macro grip module for my xl. But if we are being honest. For full size carry. I prefer my axg pro. It’s a true tac driver and more than confident with shot placement over anything I own. Including the prodigy.
Hearing you say that you don’t think the comp helps enough to say you have to have that version is exactly why I’m going to save the money and get the regular model x macro with the 3.7” barrel and no comp.
Great Video! Just watching you shoot these. The comp version had significantly less muzzle flip (the eye test). I wonder what a less experienced shooters experience would be with these 3. Great job!
I have the newer XL with the rear sight. I put a holosun 407k green dot and wilson combat grip with tungsten weights. Imo the wilson combat grip feels better in hand then the xmacro grip. With the weighted wilson combat grip it's still cheaper then the xmacro comp and shoots the same to me.
Thanks for the review, lots of youtubers pushing the comp and legion version of the 365. Given the reports of sigs firing on their own I wish you did a drop test and talked if these are safe to carry?
After 9 months of edc my x macro with a romeo x, I realized there was already a green dot at the end on top of my slide and took off the romeo x, been shooting great without it since and still able to keep both eyes open.
I have found the XL the best size as I can use a 12 round mag for easier concealment and 17 round mag when concealment not as important. Also, I think the “comp” is more marketing than practical. I have found it very marginal.
I prefer the longer barrel vs the comp as well. The longer grip and extra handle weight of the 17 Rd mags makes up for it in the Marco. I've wondered if it's possible to run a 365 slide with a xl barrel, and a custom (shortened to slide ) xl grip. Lightens reciprocating mass, lightens the gun overall but would still have the slightly longer grip and +2 mag capacity.
I picked up the base P365 X Macro today. These have been hard to track down for some time now. I saw it, they said they rarely get them in, and I jumped on it. I can't count how many Glock guys said that it was a better offering. I am a Glock guy myself, but trust that this is better fit for me in the intended purpose. I have not fired it yet, but I got the barrel ready for my first range session.
My ccw that is glued to me is the p365 x macro comped w/ holosun EPS carry, best handgun iv shot for self defense ccw. The comp makes a huge difference in shootability. I also appreciate that I can carry 38 rounds with am extra mag and the +2 base plates. The only gripe I have is you can't put a silencer on the comp.version, so now I have to pay the 250-350 for a new, non comp.slide and a threaded barrel. Other than that this gun is literally perfect for me.
I just bought the “base” xmacro last week. Sig has an offer that if you buy an xmacro before December 15 2023 they will send you 3 magazines 17 round capacity for free.
I have the base model with an eps carry. There is a 50/50 chance you won't get a last round bolt hold with that optic, but the gun isn't broken in yet , only about 200 rounds through it
I have the p365 XL and the p365x macro non-comp version absolutely love both of them I bought the Excel when I thought the macro I just could not conceal it that good it was not comfortable to carry all day working so that's why I bought the smaller one whatever is sense I found the Pegasus DeSantis slim-tuk holster oh my gosh I am now back carrying the macro absolutely comfortable all day I can sit down I paid 32.99 for it and it blows my 134.00 holster out of the water when it comes to the macro the xl it's fantastic love it too but I'm glad I can carry the macro now as well my macro cost at 650 in my XL cost it 599 which I could have got to xl for 545 had I waited but it is what it is at this point awesome video
Got the comp. I am a sucker for gimmicks but it does seem a little flatter compared to my 365x with the same barrel. But with all the powder and everything else flying around I kind of wish I would have got the Tacops. Still happy with it.
for home defense and personal carry, there is a good chance I may be shooting in a hallway, small room, or inside my car.. so the comp will hurt more than help I think? Was always my reasoning for avoiding the comp craze these past few years, but who knows maybe I am overexaggerating..
I'd go with the XL and call it good, one day I'll drive to one of the authorized Sig dealers near me, both are 3 hours round trips, and just get any accessories I need. Yes I've shot the regular P365, it was OK, but I wanted the longer barrel so I waited.
@@harveymanfrantinsingin7373 I count on that as much as I count on "Brandon" to have a full understandable thought, let alone fulfill his Oath of Office. So no, I like to buy parts in person.
@@steven3379 I’ve never had a problem ordering parts, except for one time in 2006 from Botach.. And I’ve never ordered from them since. But, by all means.. drive 3 hours and overpay. Your call.
Looking at the p365 legion with the comp. Not completely sold on the compensator. I'm sure they will eventually release a non comp 365 legion. Worth it? or wait for non comp version? Heard some cons regarding the gases coming up. thanks for the input as I haven't shot this comp model yet.
If you go with the base model then buy two extra mags, extended slide release and well mag to essentially get the tac version, you'll end up paying more than you would for the comp version. So if you think you'd eventually want those upgrades, you might as well just buy the tac model. Great review BTW! I know which one I want now.
You are one of the first ones that I've seen do or say something about the p365 X macro base model non-comp there is so many people that don't know about this gun they think it's either a comp or the tacops and that's so not true I have this exact gun the third gun on the list I have 2220 rounds absolutely flawless but you would be surprised how many people that don't know about this model
I bought the base model with plans to add a pmm comp to it in the future. I just don't see the point in buying the upgraded version if you are planning on doing barrel/comp upgrades to it in the future.
I got the xl early on and really didn’t like it to much. Mine had the Romeo 1 on it and no rear sight. Now they moved the cut out. When I went out looking for another 365 was thinking of original. I held the xmacro and was hell yes. My comp is nice to shoot.
I got the tac ops. Then sent it off to monsoon tactical to get ported. Ported shoots a lot flatter than the compensated version. And then added a Icarus precision lower and added a imtnebreska trigger. NOW it’s insane lol 😂 it shoot’s extremely flat and just all around SHOOTER
I would go with the base model.... Problem is I was a early adopter lol Sig is smart. They know the comp version wouldn't sell much if it wasn't the only option. My cousin made his own "base model" as soon as he could get the grip module and when we shoot them I actually think his shoots a little softer with the little bit of extra barrel and slide weight.
Thanks, great video for comparison. Decided to buy a Black Friday special ... $600 for a X Macro with Romeozero Elite! No holster. What's that code for Tulster's OWB Holster?
I had the comp macro and wished I’d got the Tacops after I shot it a bunch ..I already had a p365x so I traded comp for the tacops ..you also get 4 mags with the tacops..there all great guns ..only problem is I’ve had problems out of all my sigs and half to send back for something ..after 500 rounds or so ..
would love to see reviewers put their hands up to a dollar bill , both length and width. Had trouble palming a b-ball but my hands use to made a budwiser ( pre boycott) look small. Thank you for your review!
I like the SAS style. Like the older P224 SAS 👍. I'm a new metal Sig fan. This 365 line up falls behind adjustable grip back strap & side panels marques like H&K, Walther, Steyr. I need a full side palm swell. Sigs are all flat slab side grips, sad. Get with it Sig 👍
The tacops appeared to be just as well mamnered as the comped.verison while the base looked to have more muzzle flip to me? Maybe the small weight difference? I dont own any of the 3, im a S&W guy and have carried a sheild for 10 years and currently carry the shield plus. Picked up the tacops at the gun store the other day and im seriously considering buying it up. Love at first grip haha. All the bells and whistles and extra mags is kind of a no brainer IMO.
I have been Building these since day one. I have The 365 first Model that Has a Grip Module from a Macro from Wilson Combat. Every Color They Offer. Even a Turquoise Blue Grip Module
I have the x macro comp with a 407k and an xl slide with another 407k. Comp 'feels' softer/flatter/faster...but I'm not sure. I've run dozens of drills with the mantis x-10 and a shot timer from both slides. According to the electronics I get less muzzle rise with the comp, but my splits are almost always faster with the xl slide. Not sure if it's just slide velocity, or that the non-comp slide just 'settles' better for me, but it's there. Example (hornady critical def 124's): Macro comp x:xx, .19, .20, .18, .17, .19 Macro XL x:xx, .19, .19, .18, .17, .18 It's like that almost every single time if I have a good run. Sure, it's only a couple hundredths of a second on a whole drill, but it IS almost always faster and there's more velocity for that hp to do it's magic in a defensive situation. Maybe I just haven't mastered the Macro platform well enough to squeeze all of the advantages possible out of the comp. My comp'd 320 (3.9 x-carry slide, 419 comp on legion frame) is way faster/flatter then running the x5 slide...so it's not like I don't believe in comps. Maybe I'll figure it out someday, because it seems I'm the only one missing out.
I bet the shorter barrel does a lot more to recoil than the "comp" itself. I am no gunsmith but I bet that an in-barrel comp has a lot more pressure to work with than an "exhaust" comp
Do you think the longer sight radius of the non-comp models makes a difference when shooting without optics? I wanted a safety so picked up the manual safety base version and added the extended slide and mag well funnel to create a TACOPS with a safety.
I Ike the base X... 3.7 inch barrel vs 3.1 = a bit of added velocity with the 124+p Gold Dots I carry. I agree with you on the thumb safety feature. SIG designed the safety Right !
Todays tip: go with the 365-380. No 9mm 365 version can match the accuracy at speed that you can get out of that gun! Just run Underwood extreme defender and you’ll never miss your 9.
You are literally telling everyone what I’m carrying now 😂😂 I just use the Xtreme Penetrator. I got the original X-Macro and they both shoot flat. Good choice you spoke of 😎😎
Lol… imagine what a properly charged cartridge pushing the same projectile can do! If you cant rapid fire a 9mm into vitals.. you need to learn how to shoot.
The 365-380 has been flawless…it’s very underrated! I could almost do without the 9mm versions of any of the 365 and you can absolutely run your .380 ammo out of the 9 mm magazines with no issue because after all .380 nothing but a 9mm short.
Hegshot, you should make a custom p365 series. Comparing different builds. I would like to know your thoughts on a X-Macro build with a longer barrel + Comp (like PMM). Etc etc.
Great guns, no doubt, but is the juice worth the squeeze? Damn near the same size as a Glock 19/45... but much more costly. I have nothing against Sig, I own several P200- series and P320 series, as well. So, I'm not new to Sig by any means. It just seems as though the 365 series went from logical micro option to... honestly... no better off than carrying a mid-frame weapon. I'm not being snarky, I am genuinely posing a point and question.
I have carried for 43 years. 14 years in the Military/25+ years as a State Trooper (SWAT) now retired 11 years. I carried S&W, SIG, Glock, Colt, Springfield professionally and I now carry a SIG P365x Macro every day...and love IT!!

Had the comp and base, myself. I agree, base is best value, but comp shoots "softer", maybe not $200 softer, but softer.
Definitely shoots softer. Especially when range day is 1-2x per week, 200 rounds per session. Rapid follow-up shots are easier/more accurate as well. I have all the versions.

Great video for those that haven’t made a decision yet!
This video was great! I was having trouble with what the differences were. You broke it down nicely!!
I have the base model. Just didnt want a comp on my edc. It shoots great. Its accurate. Capacity is amazing. Over 1000 rounds now and not one malfunction. Love it. Id recommend any of these handguns though.
Do you carry appendix? And if so how comfortable is it w the xmacro
I'm torn on base or comp.
@@Gospeed777 what did you choose?
The base also can come with a safety, which can be a game changer for some. I grew up with safeties so I wanted one. I got the base with a safety and it’s an awesome firearm!
I added the manual safety to my xmacro, and still have factory parts all inside
They sell a safety for $50. Just need to do a small cutout on the grip. Was waiting for them to release macro comp with safety but looks like not releasing seperate sku for and just letting people install is the path they are going for
I picked up the macro grip module for my xl. Love it.
Thank you!
I went with the base model. Thanks for the video 👍
Thanks for posting this comparison - definitely helps in making a decision in which option I am going to go with!
Thank you for an amazing Sig P365 video review!
Love how you made mention of the reach of the trigger. That is always a make or break issue for me.
Thanks man
Base P365 or plain 365 FCU.
Thanks man
I bought the TacOps, I liked getting 4 mags and the mag well!
Hey Man, thanks for your input. It's much appreciated.... @@Clutch_Kick187
Just sold my Glock 26 gen 4 & bought the 365 Legion.
How much longer is yhe slide on the XL than the macro?
@@coyoteodie4458 , slides are the same overall length, but the comp has a slightly shorter barrel inside the slide. The comp is just machined into the slide of the comp.
@@83Yankee thank you
I already had two XLs, so I just picked up a macro frame to change one out. XL is still the perfect size carry for me, but having the macro frame is really nice.
I did the same thing. I don't think the comp really makes too big a difference, since it's not an actual expansion chamber
I did the same. I picked up the macro grip module for my xl. But if we are being honest. For full size carry. I prefer my axg pro. It’s a true tac driver and more than confident with shot placement over anything I own. Including the prodigy.
No kidding. Hurry up WC!!!!
Love the xl slide on the x macro grip.
Isn’t it the same ? 3.7” barrel or Macro and XL?
Thanks for going over all three
I have found the XL the best size as I can use a 12 round mag for easier concealment and 17 round mag when concealment not as important. Also, I think the “comp” is more marketing than practical. I have found it very marginal.
Agreed 💯
Interesting. I find the comp incredibly effective. I put everything from an XMacro on a Wilson combat xl grip and it’s spectacular.
I considered doing this myself! The WC xl grip is superior to the Macro grip. Would you recommend it over the XL slide?@@jagpilotohio
@@BinaryPun I love the comp’d macro slide.
Now you have to do a comparison of the P365 AXG- Legion!
Thanks for the Vid! Ima pick my first Gun today. It was either Xl Vs Macro but I think now I’m set on the Macro!
I just bought the “base” xmacro last week. Sig has an offer that if you buy an xmacro before December 15 2023 they will send you 3 magazines 17 round capacity for free.
Does this apply to a Macro Tac Ops purchase as well?
I have the base model with an eps carry. There is a 50/50 chance you won't get a last round bolt hold with that optic, but the gun isn't broken in yet , only about 200 rounds through it
Great review on all three versions. Definitely will help in deciding which gun to buy.
Oh, and I carry it year round IWB with a TXC X1 pro holster and honestly it conceals just fine.
I bought the original 365, an XL grip and just got the X macro. Essentially I have 4 guns in 2. Love it
Wish you had said more about the 3.1" vs 3.7" barrels,,,,,otherwise a great review ! Thanks!
Great Vid. Very helpful for my decision making process!
I am sold on the comp version with the Romeo X compact red dot.👍
I'd go with the XL and call it good, one day I'll drive to one of the authorized Sig dealers near me, both are 3 hours round trips, and just get any accessories I need.
Yes I've shot the regular P365, it was OK, but I wanted the longer barrel so I waited.
Do you know about the interwebs? Its this new thing where you can click buttons, then a guy dressed in brown brings you toys! 😂
I got the Macro comp about a year and a half ago as my 2nd pistol and first carry gun. Insanely beautiful gun in my opinion
Tac ops. The 2 extra mags are $60ea. So you’re $20 ahead with a free mag well.
I bought the Tacops for $695 that came with 4 mags plus Sig has a promotion now that they also give three additional mags for a total of 7.
@@Asidebarwhere did you pick one up for $695? I haven’t seen any under $750
Nice video thanks for explaining the x macro line. I just picked up a base model for 550. Can’t wait to shoot it.
Watching you shoot I can see a definite difference in the muzzle lift between the comp and the other 2.
I got the tac ops. Then sent it off to monsoon tactical to get ported. Ported shoots a lot flatter than the compensated version. And then added a Icarus precision lower and added a imtnebreska trigger. NOW it’s insane lol 😂 it shoot’s extremely flat and just all around SHOOTER
im interested now
Great review. That covered everything I've been looking for. Thanks.
Outstanding video, with lots of great info. Thank You!
Brother, I appreciate your content. Thank you for this.
The red dot does not leave the window with the integrated comp for me.
Example (hornady critical def 124's):
Macro comp x:xx, .19, .20, .18, .17, .19
Macro XL x:xx, .19, .19, .18, .17, .18
It's like that almost every single time if I have a good run.
Could I fit the 3.7 inch barrel on the comped version?
@@RickyBobby382 nope, you cannot. Would need a new slide to fit a 3.7" barrel
עזרת לי מאוד. לקחתי את ה macro, הבסיסי ,אקדח מדהים 🙏
I bet the shorter barrel does a lot more to recoil than the "comp" itself. I am no gunsmith but I bet that an in-barrel comp has a lot more pressure to work with than an "exhaust" comp
Comp version gets so crazy dirty took me some time getting a guys barrel clean from carbon build up .
Etc etc.
I work at a local FFL and sold enough Sig products to get the XMACRO COMP for free. Its on its way now 🎉
Great guns, no doubt, but is the juice worth the squeeze? Damn near the same size as a Glock 19/45... but much more costly. I have nothing against Sig, I own several P200- series and P320 series, as well. So, I'm not new to Sig by any means. It just seems as though the 365 series went from logical micro option to... honestly... no better off than carrying a mid-frame weapon. I'm not being snarky, I am genuinely posing a point and question.
Which reticle do you prefer on the romeoX ?
Help? I am thinking about adding the x macro comp slide on my original p365 frame. Will the different slide allow it to fit in a 365 xl holster?
Please explain to me Tacops. Can a Tacops P365 be purchased at a LGS or are they added accessories?
Picked up the base and put a Holosun 507K x2 on it...its amazing
Tac-Ops all the way. If nothing else though, for people getting the base macro-ease get the flared/extended magwell. It's a game changer for me
