Hi Lyn, Your aloe variegata looks very healthy especially after all it has been through. It was very interesting to see it's root system. Their minor roots never seem strong enough to keep the top of the aloe in place. Inspite of their popularity I never think they are an easy aloe as it can be difficult to get the watering right with their susceptibility to root rot. Your video is helpful as you clearly show a great soil, sand, pumice stone ratio and a guide to the initial watering when you have repotted. Thanks for that.

Thanks for your repotting info on Aloe variegata. I love this aloe and recently bought a new one a few days ago. I lost my last one due to overwatering so I hope I'll do better now with your helpful tips!

It’s repotting season! Been trying to repot as many as I can as well before it gets cold. That aloe is a beautiful specimen.

Your positivity reverberates and I feel I can accomplish as a newbie planter! I have the Aloe Tiger 🐯 / 🐊 Gator so many names peacock 🦚 plant.. looks like the sails of Opera house? I have a tiny baby pup I planted up but it looks like a slow grower.. guess lots of patience , full sun , encouragement and should be like the adult mother plant one day. Cheers Sydney Stephen.
