I like the two aloes outside. I like to root mine in water. Takes a long time but it's worked for me so far. Thanks for the links in the description. I might check out those other videos.
Rooting Aloes in water is a fantastic idea, I will have to try that, I prefer the water method as we can see the roots as they form, but never tried it with Aloes but will be trying that out, thanks so much Des for your wonderful support and amazing comment and for watching and sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER to Florida for a fantastic Monday XXXX
I've used a few different types of aloe for their medicinal properties, I've found that as long as it's an aloe with thick fleshy leaves it will work!!! The larger species work best. Deb had a small one in the kitchen window, a hybrid. It had small but thick leaves and it worked as well! The cluster grew to large for the window so we moved it to the green house. I have the Aloe juvenna, makes a nice hanging plant! Great video Lyn!!! From Morris park in the Ozarks to across the Emerald Isle, be careful so you don't have to use any aloe sap!😊 Peace,Love,Plants!!!!!✌💖🌵🌸🌴💐🌿🌻🍀🌷

Oh my gosh! This is a huge brevifolia! I have one myself, can it live out in winter or just the summer? I love aloes! They are probably my favourite plant. Your plant is absolutely beautiful I love it How old is that brevifolia? I want mine to eventually grow like that
So happy you love this big Aloe beauty, but I just realised that I have labelled it wrong LOL! as its meant to be an Aloe mitriformis, but they look very similar and have the same growth pattern, this one is possibly over 25 years old, as my friend gave it to me 20 years ago when her Mother passed, and her Mum had this Aloe for a few years before she passed, it has grow so much in those 20 years as it was one big Rosette when my friend gave it to me, thanks so much for your wonderful support and amazing comments and for watching and sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER for a wonderful plant powered day XXXX

How would you describe the difference between Tiger 'Tooth' and Tiger 'Jaw' Aloe? Many people don't know the difference, and use the names indiscriminately.
Hi there, the Tigers jaw 'Faucaria tigrina' is a miniature growing plant that looks very similar to Aloe in appearance but is a separate species of Faucaria and is a compact growing small plant with yellow 'daisy like flowers' the Tiger Tooth Aloe 'aloe juvenna' is a much larger growing plant with green and light green variegation that grows its rosette shaped leaves as a training plant over time, thanks so much for your wonderful comment and for watching, and wishing you a fantastic plant powered day XXXX

Hi there, yes this is normal for the tips to often go brown on the ends, if its the lower leaves I would not worry at all, but if the newer leaves from the top are going brown at the tips it can be caused from excess fertiliser in the water or soil or in the plant food, although its harmless and is more of an aesthetic thing, thanks so much for your wonderful comment and for watching and sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER for a terrific Thursday XXXXX
