      i agree. Some which are against it are just jealous and hoping to pet one. I prefer this because animals will have shelter and free food. I wonder what for some are complaining all about. They dont use your money but they do so let us just be happy to one another.

    Adopt a pet house cat!! Mine is gorgeous and majestic, at 12 lbs. She is sleeping on the foot of my bed right now. On very rare occasions she scratches me while playing and I don't even need a band aid. No cages, no cruelty, no suffering.

      @@BFdEutschLaNd That makes no sense though. Where do you think the stock even came from? And just because someone's getting free food or has shelter doesn't mean everything is okay. If this were the case everyone would be fighting to get into prison.

    I don’t know when you filmed this but Ohio has laws against owning exotic animals ever since that idiot that had so many let them out and killed himself. It traumatized everyone here in Ohio because there was no instant solution to recapturing all of them. There were less than 5 of the animals that survived the event. And if you have found someone that owns a large cat or any other exotic animal then they are breaking the law.

      That man did not release his animals and did not kill himself. I am not defending him because he did have too many animals, and they were kept in horrible conditions. But the absolute truth of the matter is that he and his animals were all murdered by police! Most of the animals were shot in their cages! The lies of this Zanesville murder and mass murder of animals was spread by the criminal mainstream media as always!

      A lot of zoos in the US now are actually sanctuaries for wild animals that have been rescued and who for whatever reason cannot live in the wild anymore . Great to see a majority of comments against this sort of animal abuse. Going one step further i look forward to the day that zoos are illegalised too. Animals in prisons = not cool. Zoos = profit. Very few zoos actually re-wild animals bred in captivity. I fully support sanctuaries where specific endangered animals (or animals needing rehab / or can not be reintroduced into the wild) are managed BUT place them in their natural environment, for example Orangutan sanctuaries in Borneo where the local communities earn from tourism etc so in turn they see the importance of species protection. There are off course a few select species where they need to be kept in very different places due to extinction/gene pool challenges... and non endangered birds in cages = that really p1sses me off.

    B.) These people are not every day Americans. Americans? Yes. Not normal people. 7000 tiger owners wouldn’t even make up .01 percent of the American population.
    C.) interesting video!
    I just find it funny that this video leads people in other counties to believe that it is normal, common, and an obsession for Americans to own tigers.

    These “pets” c can be amazing. The thing is you have to be ready to put in the time and work to take care of them. If you don’t take care of them that’s abuse and you should be in prison. If you do take care of them they can be the best thing in your life.

  • @pavelp9887
    @pavelp9887 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Actually they can make the best pets. They are loyal and GOD help anyone who try’s to break into your house or hurt you.
    They all have different temperaments. Some are sweethearts but will go crazy if you try and take their food.
    The best way to raise them is also the most time consuming. If you don’t plan on playing with them you can just build them a nice enclosure and throw the meat over.
    But the best way I’ve seen to actually make the tiger think you are truly its parent and it is 100% dependent on you is hand feeding. Never let them eat alone. Hand feed from when they are cubs. I’ve seen an 800lb Siberian tiger i mean he was massive you could just see it that he was not your ordinary tiger he was twice the size of a lion and he was not obese or fat at all his shoulders were just insane. And yet this killing machine was just a baby. His owner hand fed him everything he ate. He said you have to start when they are cubs and never stop. If they realize they can eat the food themselves it’s over. By doing this you build the most trust you possibly can with a tiger. And they will be truly gentle. Not even like ok I promise I won’t eat you but we fighting and you may get a bite or scratch. No ones who are hand fed are just extremely gentle with humans. They know exactly what’s going on. I saw this girl playing with a 600lb white Siberian and how does he play? She puts his arm in between his 4 inch canines and lets him drag her around the cage. Only he doesn’t actually drag her, she moves and he follows because he knows if goes ahead of her he might her hurt.
    It’s crazy I’ve seen the 600lb cat which was already massive and I was whoa and then I saw a 700lb cat and was like WTF how big can they get. And then I saw the 800lb big boy he was like 10 feet long and the widest cat you’ll ever see. Very impressive.

Why don't you volunteer in one of our many wildlife rescues or make a donation to this organisation, or even volunteer at one of the many cat/dog rescues as they are always overrun with lost or abandoned pets and need volunteers as well? There are plenty of ways that you can help. You just need to think outside the box. Or perhaps you just want to volunteer with big cats so that you can play with them?

As long as the animal is being taken care of and they're healthy, happy and not being abused, I don't think it's anybody's business what kind of animal you have as a pet? People have great Danes in apartments and nobody screams about how horrible it is to have them in those kind of conditions being a large dog in need of space. Cat's have huge raoming territory, but no one s calls anyone cruel if they keep their cats in never allowing them out. Now if a person is abusing the animal, the animal is malnourished that is another situation.

      Great Danes are domestic pets. Do you understand the difference between wild animals and domestic pets???

      It's a bit different. As said above, dogs n cats have been integrated with humans for thousands of years n have very different social structure to wild animals not used to human living conditions. True though that it wouldn't be ideal having for eg a great Dane in an apartment if they're not walked daily but it's still very different to keeping a tiger which is around eight times the weight of a great Dane. Imagine how much food they need to consume!!

      A tiger isn't a dog. A tiger has vastly different needs. As far as the happy and healthy, those are pretty rarely met in someone's private home, not to mention it puts people in danger when these animals escape.
      No one should own a tiger or a bear or an elephant just because they want to. Even top notch zoos struggle to meet the basic needs to these animals, what makes you think the average joe can?

      While animal welfare is very important to me and many others, the biggest issue by far has been the genocide in Palestine carried out by the criminal state of Israel with the full support of the criminal 'governments' of North America and most of Europe! More than 30,000 innocent men, women and children have been murdered so far with no end in sight!

    These “pets” c can be amazing. The thing is you have to be ready to put in the time and work to take care of them. If you don’t take care of them that’s abuse and you should be in prison. If you do take care of them they can be the best thing in your life.

  • @pavelp9887

    I don’t know when this program was filmed but many states outlaw owning an exotic pet and due to the high price of the exotic’s I would assume only the wealthy are able to buy them.

    • @tonyprice2256
      @tonyprice2256 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@olavwilhelm6843 Yes, but feeding them and providing them with adequate space is another thing. An adult big cat can eat about 20 pounds of meat every day, for example. That is a lot of money these days. I would never keep a large wild cat unless i had at least 100 acres of wooded land for him or her to run around in secured by a very strong fence or wall at least 20 to 25 feet high. And since that situation is not in the cards for me, it will most likely never happen.
